This paper investigates online stochastic aggregative games subject to local set constraints and time-varying coupled inequality constraints, where each player possesses a time-varying expectation-valued cost function relying on not only its own decision variable but also an aggregation of all the players’ variables. Each player can only access its local individual cost function and constraints, necessitating partial information exchanges with neighboring players through time-varying unbalanced networks. Additionally, local cost functions and constraint functions are not prior knowledge and only revealed gradually. To learn generalized Nash equilibria of such games, a novel distributed online stochastic algorithm is devised based on push-sum and primal-dual strategies. Through rigorous analysis, high probability bounds on the regret and constraint violation are provided by appropriately selecting decreasing stepsizes. Moreover, for a time-invariant stochastic strongly monotone game, it is shown that the generated sequence by the designed algorithm converges to its variational generalized Nash equilibrium (GNE) almost surely, and the time-averaged sequence converges sublinearly with high probability. CAD-DIRECTED INSPECTION PLANNING FOR FREEFORM SURFACE USING CONTACT PROBES

A methodology for CAD-directed measurement of freeform surface using a coordinate measuring machine equipped with a touch-trigger probe is presented, mainly including adaptive sampling of measurement points and registration of freeform surface. The proposed sampling method follows four steps： Freeform surface is fitted by bi-cubic B-spline; Curvedness measure of the surface is computed; Given a number of sampling points, an iterative algorithm is constructed for selecting a set of measurement points by employing the curvedness information; The measurement points is regularized for tradeoff between maximizing the measurement accuracy and minimizing the sampling time and cost. The aforesaid algorithm is demonstrated in term of a marine propeller blade. An offset surface registration method is presented to improve alignment accuracy of freeform objects, and Monte Carlo simulation is conducted to verify the effectiveness of the method.

This notes focuses on the issue of whether or not the state of a plant can be estimated when the inputs of communication channel involve noise and disturbance simultaneously. It turns out to calculate the maximum capacity of stationary memoryless multiple quasi-access channel under nonstochastic information theory. It is shown that the maximum information rate over such a channel is determined by a convex hull spanned by the zero-error capacities which are specified on the underlying sample spaces. Moreover, the state of a plant could be estimated provided that the maximal information rate is strictly greater than the topology entropy. © 1963-2012 IEEE.

This paper proposes a better way for industrial robots to avoid collisions while manipulating objects. The method uses the Oriented Bounding Boxes (OBB) theory. OBB is effective because it can work with objects turned in any direction, which makes it very exact. To detect if two OBBs are colliding, the algorithm adopted double-check collision detection to achieve a collision-free workspace. First, Threshold distance collision detection by calculating the nearest line between an object’s corners. Then by the Gilbert-Johnson-Keerthi (GJK) algorithm. The algorithm uses Z-Y-Z Euler's angles to handle orientation between robot grippers and objects during paths. This updated algorithm will make industrial robots safer and more efficient when handling objects. We have adopted Coppellia Simulation software to verify the accuracy of the algorithm with different scenarios. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Semiconductor light-emitting die (LED) has now become one of the most popular lighting devices. Before dies are put into process of package, they need be inspected and sorted strictly, so following waste will be saved. Cost of inspection and sort is relatively high, it is urgently needed to improve sort efficiency and reduce sort time. To get efficient solution, detailed view of working flow is presented to make analysis on performance and its influenced factors. It can be revealed that positioning of recycle bins is the major influence factor. Performance may decrease by 3.2 to 0.9 dies per second. Because of this, a path optimization method according grade priority is put forward. In this way, the dies with same grade should get priority to be sorted first. Techniques about die search and merge by grade, traversal of forward and backtrack with cross priority are described in detail. With results of reasonable simulations and a case experiment, this optimization is proved highly effective to reduce sort time and improve dies production rate. © 2010 IEEE.

Aimed for the real-time requirement of Ethernet in embedded system, an Agent-based system was presented. There were one managing node and a lot of control nodes in this new system. In order to reduce the real-time decline resulting from channel conflict, every control node was assigned a default priority and the control nodes with the same priority formed a group. Every control node communicated with each other and managing node based on the priority groups they belonged to. Master Agent in managing node received different status data from every Sub Agent in the control nodes in different cycles. A dynamic adjustment model was set up in Master Agent. The status data gathered from control nodes were counted as inputs of the model;thus, through the model, the priorities of these control nodes could have dynamic adjustments. Network communication distributed channel resources by way of dynamic priorities, ensuring not only that there was less communication conflict among nodes at a certain moment, but also that adaptive adjustments of priorities could be achieved to improve transmission efficiency. The analysis and the simulation results demonstrate the method is correct and efficient.

The extensive application of Commercial off-the-shelf(COTS) components into safety computers in train control systems has caused safety problems. Aiming at the parallel programs, a concurrent program safety management mechanism based on transactional memory is proposed. The proposed mechanism implements concurrent behaviors of the application in the safe policy. A verification framework based on invariant proof and parallel separation logic theory is designed and operating system operation semantics are given for mathematical reasoning and proving. An example of code execution process is demonstrated to explain the safety control process of concurrent safety mechanism. The results indicate that the program can meet the safety and reliability requirements of concurrent safety computer platforms.

In order to improve production efficiency, inspecting and sorting of LED dies are done respectively in prober and sorter. During the inspection, dies may be broken, fragmentized, tiny moved, or deflected slightly, besides, visual scan can also lead to location deviation when the wafer is moved from prober to sorter. All of this can cause some dies mismatch in the sorting stage, which is never allowed. In order to get integrated match of dies, the position relations between adjacent dies are considered, techniques including diagnosing criterion of position relatives, redundant visual scanning, forward and backtrack algorithm with cross priority are put forward. It is proved with experimental results that such re-index approach is more applicable than traditional index method. When dies arrange in good order, match rate is more than 99.5%, by compassion, that of traditional index method is less than 92%. When the wafer is deflected slightly or locally fragmentized, match rate of the former is more than 92.5%, by contrast, that of the latter is less than 50% in same situation. © 2010 IEEE.

All dies are required to keep consistent angles in LED chip sorting. Usually, rectification orient real-time vision is used for this but it may decrease production efficiency greatly, because one correction may need several adjustments. Considering that all dies to be sorted are adhesive to wafer tape, each is rotated, locations of all other dies change. It is a problem for following positioning and sorting. To solve this problem, an on-line angle correction method basing on translation compensation is put forward. In this way, angle deviations of dies are transformed as translations of recycling bins. Each die declination can be corrected without any rotations. It does little impact on sorting efficiency because the translation of recycling bins acts concurrently with the die ejection and transporting, etc. Techniques on figuring out displacement compensations are discussed in detail. In addition, SPN model of declination angle correction is built to analyze its influence to production rate. With theoretical analysis and experimental results, it is revealed that sort efficiency may decrease by only 3% for angle correction. Such effect is perfectly acceptable. © 2010 IEEE.
