Perceiving the complete shape of occluded objects is essential for human and machine intelligence. While the amodal segmentation task is to predict the complete mask of partially occluded objects, it is time-consuming and labor-intensive to annotate the pixel-level ground truth amodal masks. Box-level supervised amodal segmentation addresses this challenge by relying solely on ground truth bounding boxes and instance classes as supervision, thereby alleviating the need for exhaustive pixel-level annotations. Nevertheless, current box-level methodologies encounter limitations in generating low-resolution masks and imprecise boundaries, failing to meet the demands of practical real-world applications. We present a novel solution to tackle this problem by introducing a directed expansion approach from visible masks to corresponding amodal masks. Our approach involves a hybrid end-to-end network based on the overlapping region - the area where different instances intersect. Diverse segmentation strategies are applied for overlapping regions and non-overlapping regions according to distinct characteristics. To guide the expansion of visible masks, we introduce an elaborately-designed connectivity loss for overlapping regions, which leverages correlations with visible masks and facilitates accurate amodal segmentation. Experiments are conducted on several challenging datasets and the results show that our proposed method can outperform existing state-ofthe-art methods with large margins. Recent years have seen a meteoric rise in the volume of multimedia data generated by industries like e-commerce, finance, transportation, and social networks. Furthermore, the purpose of wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSN) is to offer real-time multimedia applications using wireless sensors. Furthermore, Deep learning has an enormous impact on many applications involving multimedia data for tasks, including picture clustering, image classification, natural language processing, and speech recognition. Multimedia data accuracy, WMSN noise, and unattended situations are all problems for traditional methods. There are many moving parts in a successful organization, but network effectiveness is the backbone of an online business. To combat the problem of data noise in wireless sensor networks, the authors of this article propose using Deep Learning to aid in the development of Effective Multimedia Data Models (DLA-EMDM). In particular, no previous work has tried to model multimedia data cyclically using a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) with Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). Based on the simulation findings, it is clear that the proposed DLA-EMDM approach improves the precision, efficiency ratio, cost-effectiveness, and silence of multimedia data processing in a WSN. By enhancing the aforementioned wireless network, we may furnish enhanced technical support and platform services to businesses and set the stage for enhancing business performance. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper,a compact,efficient and easy to fabricate wearable antenna integrated with Artificial Magnetic Conductor(AMC)is *** of slots and bevels/cuts in the rectangular monopole patch antenna yield a wide bandwidth along with band *** proposed antenna is backed with an AMC metasurface that changes the bidirectional radiation pattern to a unidirectional,thus,considerably reducing the Specific Absorption Ratio(SAR).The demonstrated antenna has a good coverage radiating away from the body and presents reduced radiation towards the body with a front-to-back ratio of 13 dB and maximum gain of 3.54 *** proposed design operates over a wide frequency band of 2.9 to 12 GHz(exceeding the designated 3.1−10.6 GHz Ultra-Wideband(UWB)band).The band notches were created using slots on the radiating patch in the sub-bands from 5.50 to 5.67 GHz and 7.16 to 7.74 *** overall dimensions of the structure are 33×33×6.75 *** antenna’s radiation performance increased considerably with the addition of the AMC *** SAR values for the antenna are reduced by 85.3%when the AMC is used and are 0.083 W/kg which is well below the FCC SAR *** simple design,miniaturized profile,low SAR and wide operating bands with multiple band notches make the presented antenna an appealing choice for several UWB wearable body area network(WBAN)applications.

Spatial–temporal variations of NDVI and its response to climate in China from 2001 to 2020

Vegetation plays an important role in global or regional environmental *** this study,the spatial–temporal variations of NDVI and its response to climate in China and its seven sub-regions were investigated based on MODIS NDVI data,ERA5-land precipitation(PRE)and temperature(TEM)data from 2001 to *** inter-annual growth rate of NDVI in China was 0.0021/yr in the past 20 *** inter-annual growth rates of NDVI in seven sub-regions had significant differences at regional or seasonal *** ratio of improved vegetation area to the total studied area reached about 70%.In summer,vegetation degradation was concentrated in East China and Southwest *** vegetation in Central China and South China improved more obviously in autumn than in the other *** vegetation of Northeast China had a remarkable degradation in autumn and winter,especially in *** influence degree of PRE(q=0.54,P<0.01)was greater than that of TEM(q=0.27,P<0.01)in the control of the spatial distribution of *** interaction influence degree q of PRE∩TEM was about 0.71 in the last 20 ***,the PRE and TEM played different roles in vegetation growth in seven sub-regions.

Training and education for medical staff is crucial to ensuring patients get the best possible treatment. Healthcare is and always has been a very technical and specialized industry. Maintaining a competent workforce and a healthy work-life balance depends on the program's effectiveness. This article details nurses' perspectives on patient safety and examines the frequency of contrasting incidents. This paper proposes the Deep learning-assisted statistical Model (DLASM) to better teach healthcare workers in safety practices. Those in charge of employee safety may benefit from data gathered and analyzed by AI automation. The financial burden of workplace events, injuries, healthcare, and prosecutions might be reduced by implementing an appropriate exercise program based on a meaningful learning model for employees. DLASM technique will lead to happier, safer, and healthier employees. The experimental findings demonstrate that the suggested DLASM technique improves efficiency, accuracy, and predictability compared to existing approaches © 2023 IEEE.

Nowadays, application of automated intelligent robot arm devices to improve industrial production efficiency has become a popular research field in the world. The previous off-line path planning method of robotic arm has the inadequacies of low efficiency and slow speed. Although the deep reinforcement learning has accomplished many achievements in the path planning of control manipulator, there are still some problems such as long training time and low planning accuracy. To solve the abovementioned issues, we propose an improved Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic policy gradient (TD3) algorithm (Improved Cross-Entropy Method-TD3: ICEM-TD3) for the path planning of the robotic arm. First, this paper combines evolutionary strategies with TD3 to generate action networks. Then the exploration of TD3 algorithm in the action space is replaced by the exploration in the parameter space. In addition, this paper designs a new reward function to weaken the redundancy of planning and accelerate the convergence speed of training. Finally, the Gazebo simulator is adopted to verify the proposed algorithm, and the results illustrate that the proposed algorithm can greatly improve the accuracy of the path planning of the manipulator using deep reinforcement learning. © 2023 IEEE.

Many adults and children are affected by the distressing condition known as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The widespread availability of mobile phones in today's society facilitates the development of novel approaches to various problems. In recent years, mHealth has emerged due to the widespread use of mobile devices in the medical field. Hence, this article proposes the Interactive mHealth Framework (ImHealthF) to aid adults and children with ADHD. There are four different types of people affected by the illness represented in the application: children, parents, doctors, and educators. Parents can recognize the signs of this disease in their children, and playing games of numerous types may help improve adolescents' brainpower. Using an example, this study highlights the importance of the initiative's security features for mobile health. To protect the privacy of its users and the integrity of their data during transmission, the developed tool makes extensive use of encryption. Support and accurate treatment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) need to extend beyond the titration period and provide more to patients and their families than simple monitoring via consequence trials, and this is where mHealth comes in. © 2023 IEEE.

Introduction: The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is a technology that connects devices to collect data and conduct in-depth analysis to provide value-added services to industries. The integration of the physical and digital domains is crucial for unlocking the full potential of the IIoT, and digital twins can facilitate this integration by providing a virtual representation of real-world entities. Objectives: By combining digital twins with the IIoT, industries can simulate, predict, and control physical behaviors, enabling them to achieve broader value and support industry 4.0 and 5.0. Constituents of cooperative IIoT domains tend to interact and collaborate during their complicated operations. Methods: To secure such interaction and collaborations, we introduce a blockchain-based cross-domain authentication protocol for IIoT. The blockchain maintains only each domain's dynamic accumulator, which accumulates crucial materials derived from devices, decreasing the overhead. In addition, we use the on-chain accumulator to effectively validate the unlinkable identities of cross-domain IIoT devices. Results: The implementation of the concept reveals the fact that our protocol is efficient and reliable. This efficiency and reliability of our protocol is also substantiated through comparison with state-of-the-art literature. In contrast to related protocols, our protocol exhibits a minimum 22.67% increase in computation cost efficiency and a 16.35% rise in communication cost efficiency. Conclusion: The developed protocol guarantees data transfer security across the domain and thwarts IoT devices from potential physical attacks. Additionally, in order to protect privacy, anonymity and unlinkability are also guaranteed. © 2024

This article presents a Sub-6 GHz microstrip patch antenna(MPA)with enhanced gain using metamaterial(MTM)*** source MPA operates at 4.8 GHz and has a peak gain of 5.3 dBi at the resonance frequency.A window-shaped unit cell is designed and investigated through the material wave propagation *** unit cell shows an EpsilonNear Zero(ENZ)-Mu Very Large(MVL)behavior around 4.8 *** unit cell has a fourfold geometry which makes it a polarization independent metamaterial.A double layer antenna is designed by placing a 4×4 MTM slab as a superstrate above the MPA at a height of 0.208λ0;whereλ0 is the free-space wavelength at the resonance frequency of the *** matching and gain of the source antenna is improved using the *** simulation as well as measurement results show that novel antenna system has a peak gain of 7.68 dBi at 4.8 GHz and an impedance bandwidth of 0.22 *** overall dimension of the antenna is 75×60×15 mm^(3).The proposed antenna operates in the Sub-6 GHz band and is suitable for 5G applications.
