We introduce a framework for feature selection based on dependence maximization between the selected features and the labels of an estimation problem, using the Hilbert-Schmidt Independence Criterion. The key idea is that good features should be highly dependent on the labels. Our approach leads to a greedy procedure for feature selection. We show that a number of existing feature selectors are special cases of this framework. experiments on both artificial and real-world data show that our feature selector works well in practice.

Theexplosive growth of multimedia content on the internet is revolutionizing the way of content distribution and presenting new challenges to content security and copyright management. encryption and watermarking are the most common techniques used to protect copyrighted multimedia content, but both have some limitations. In order to solve the problem, we probe into a new way that is to design a digital rights management (DRM) system based on FFmpeg, the system offers a reproducible and reliable alternative for digital rights management and related applications on the Internet. The protection works by encrypting the packets of key frames. experiments have proved that encrypting the packets of key frames to protect the digital content of video is available. Other players either can't open theencrypted video files, or the image is a mosaic and blurred image. Playing the file in the player we developed is fluent, all played properly, and the purpose of digital content protection is achieved.

This paper utilizes a statistical fusion method to extract the characteristic information for key stroke based authentication (KA) systems to verify users' identities. The keystroke data is based on the time instances of pressing and releasing a key, and five features based on the time periods are calculated using these data. In theexperiment, nineteen users participated as the legitimate users and each account was attacked by between 62 and 82 impostors. The average false acceptance rate is 1.035% and the false rejection rate is 0%. These rates are both competitive with other researches. The proposed method can be used as the classifier in password-based authentication systems to enhance their security.

In order to make it more accurate and efficient for users to acquire information resources on the internet, this paper puts forward a new method to organize and manage knowledge based on a concept of “knowledgeelement”, which helps to offers a kind of personalized intelligent service called “knowledge service”. This paper mainly introduces the whole design of the system which constructs the links among knowledgeelements by semantic label and classification based on the ontology theory. And it describes each process in detail and presents some concrete proposals for implementing the system.

This paper focuses on explaining a semantic description method of the knowledgeelement in information resource. The method takes full account of the relationship between knowledgeelements and knowledge concepts, and uses the Web technology and ontology technology to semantically annotate the knowledgeelement. In addition, this paper gives an example to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the method. It is helpful to solve the problem of low use ratio of information resources because of being not effectively managed.
