ABSTRACTResearch Findings:This study incorporates teacher vitality, efficacy, and engagement with lesson design practice in which teachers can particularly encounter challenges from technology integration that calls for design thinking. Using a structural equation modeling approach, this study explores the relationships among teachers’ design thinking engagement (DTe), efficacy in two types of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) called pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPCK), and design vitality (DV). A survey containing measurements for teachers’ DTe, PCK efficacy, TPCK efficacy, and DV was delivered to 408 Chineseearly childhood teachers. Reliability and validity of the instruments were attained through confirmatory factor analysis. Results indicated that teachers’ DTe was statistically significant in explaining teachers’ perceived PCK and TPCK efficacy, as well as perceived DV. Teachers’ perceived TPCK efficacy significantly predicts DV. In response to the needs of an international workforce, english for Specific Purpose courses are being promoted in higher education, and instructors are turning to learningtechnology to help design the instruction. In this paper, a needs analysis was conducted to guide the design of the system, materials and activities for context-aware ubiquitous languagelearning (CAULL) and english for Fitness Purposes (eFP) in a fitness center as part of a Design-Based Research project. The data collection methods included on-site observations, semi-structured interviews, and a questionnaire. The participants included 82 undergraduate students, seven physical education (Pe) instructors, and six non-Pe faculty members who frequently used the fitness center. All data forms were then triangulated and analyzed. The results show that all three groups consistently agreed that they need receptive language skills as well as specific terminology for fitness. Furthermore, it was suggested that the oral communication skills for eFP learners should also be developed for sharing ideas, experience, and suggestions. They pointed out that vocabulary related to diverse topics such as warm-up and cool-down stretches, cardiovascular exercises, and weight training are needed. Furthermore, participants reported that the CAULL system should be hypermedia-based, and contain a portfolio and a user-friendly interface. The findings were used to develop a blue print for a CAULL system based on design principles. ABSTRACTFacilitating decision making in authentic contexts is an important educational objective of professional training. To enable learners to have more opportunities to practice in authentic contexts under the guidance of instructors, the flipped learning mode of shifting the lectures to be the pre-class activity with the presentation of digital media has gradually been receiving attention. However, the conventional flipped learning mostly uses videos to present teaching content. In such a learningenvironment with one-way information and lack of experience, it is not easy for most learners to experience the actual situation encountered in the nursing procedure, which affects their judgment and performance when dealing with actual scenarios. To solve this problem, the present study adopted spherical video-based virtual reality (SVVR) to provide an experiential learning mode in flipped learning. To verify theeffects of this teaching mode, this study conducted an experiment in a blood transfusion safety training course. Theexperimental group used the SVVR-based experiential flipped learning (SVVR-eFL) mode, while the control group used the conventional flipped learning mode. The results showed that using the SVVR-eFL mode not only enhanced new nursing staff’s learning achievement, but also increased their decision-making performance, meta-cognition tendency, problem-solving tendency and classroom engagement.

Digital content industry, encompassing areas such as digital games, computer animation, digital audio-visual applications, and digital art, plays a pivotal role in today's and future developmental trends. Maya 3D software stands out as a crucial development tool in these domains. However, the multitude of built-in tools in Maya 3D can lead to overly complex interfaces, impacting development efficiency for software developers. To address this issue, this paper designs a digital toolkit for Maya 3D software, presented in a Menu Bar format. This toolkit offers features like naming, sorting, categorization, and automatic saving to JSON files for future use. Through a crossover experimental design, this paper investigates the impact of this proposed toolkit on 3D software developers' individual work performance, work engagement, and stress perception. Results shows a significant positive influence of that toolkit on software developers, particularly in enhancing work performance. It means that the proposed digital toolkit effectively improves the performance of software developers' work and reduces their stress during the software development process.
