Thee-vote is regarded as a waytoexpress the opinion that the voters ask for. Actually, the e-vote could be applied wildly likequestionnaire,***,thecoexistences of efficiency and security as well as transparency and privacy could be considered as building blocks in the e-vote system. The blockchain could provide a public access board to reduce the storagecostsforthefieldconsistedofthevotegroupmanager(GM) with its vote assistants (VA). Particularly the k-times anonymous authentication (k-TAA) could also be a practical approach to pre serve voters’ privacy and reduce the computation costs during the ***,thee-voteschemewithpurek-TAAstrategy could damage either the supervision of voting or the efficiency and consistency of authentication process. What’s more, the impacts of dishonest voters couldn’t be stopped until the vote end. To tackle these problems, we apply the accumulator technology to add or revoke the voters at any time and extend the framework of k-TAA with the update process for the e-vote on blockchain for supervision (k-TEVS). In our scheme, the voter updates his membership witness and proves the fact that he is still a valid member with respective VA under the latest accumulator value. What’s more, this witness update operation is not contained in the authentication process, which means that the authentication process is still constant and efficient. Moreover, our add or delete update process with signature of knowledge needs only one pairing operation. For the security, we prove that the relaxed anonymity still holds in the k-TEVS framework. Finally, We implement k TEVS scheme, the Emura’s work [1] and the Huang’s work [2] for comparison. Then we make time cost and communication cost experiments, which present the feasibility and practicality of this scheme. © 2004-2012 IEEE.

With the exponential growth of cross-modal information in railway data-to-service platforms, including accumulated text, images, files, and audiovisual materials, efficiently managing and utilizing these valuable resources has become an important issue for optimizing data organization and improving retrieval efficiency. This paper innovatively proposes a design scheme for an intelligent cross-modal data retrieval system tailored to the railway domain. The system aims to overcome the limitations of traditional single-modal retrieval by integrating multiple data types such as images and files, using names as core indices, to achieve seamless retrieval and integrated presentation of cross-modal information. This system not only accurately retrieves all modal information related to specific individuals, such as academic papers, on-site photos, research reports, and related news links, but also deeply extracts and categorizes key information, such as providing file paths, report titles, and enabling download operations, greatly enhancing the efficiency and precision of railway data utilization and retrieval. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. The "one-bill coverage" of China-Laos railway multimodal transport is an effective way to promote the growth of bilateral trade between China and Laos railways, and it is an inevitable requirement for the construction of a modern comprehensive transport system. In order to enhance the efficiency and economic benefits of cargo transport on China-Laos Railway, this paper combines the current situation of freight transport on China-Laos Railway and divides the life cycle of "one-bill coverage" of China-Laos Railway multimodal transport into five phases: order submission, domestic consolidation, cross-border transport, foreign evacuation and order signing, etc., and builds a "one-bill coverage" covering all the links, such as loading, transport, transshipment, warehousing, connecting, and customs clearance. This paper studies the extreme learning machine (ELM)-based time-constrained trajectory tracking control of a class of robotic manipulator systems with model/input uncertainties, matched and mismatched disturbances. A uniform robust exact differentiator (URED) is developed to construct a multi-layer virtual control framework of the robotic manipulator system. Under the control framework, adaptive ELM-based control strategies are proposed to suppress the influence of the uncertainties and disturbances layer-by-layer, combining with the minimum learning parameter (MLP) technique which is employed to reduce the calculation complexity of ELM parameters. The significance of this study is that general model/input uncertainties, matched and mismatched disturbances can be effectively compensated within a limited time, so that bounded trajectory tracking of the robotic manipulator can be achieved avoiding the complexity explosion issue. The time-constrained stability of the closed-loop robotic error systems is proved through Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, comparative simulations are employed to display the feasibility and superiority of the designed robust adaptive ELM-based control schemes of a robotic manipulator system. © 2013 IEEE.

Autonomic computing aims to embed automation in IT management software such that it can adapt to changes in the configuration, provisioning, protection, and resource utilization variations of the IT infrastructure at run time. It is, therefore, almost natural to consider this control software framework as being designed with control principles in mind. One of the research trends considers autonomic computing as a control system that resolves constraints related to the optimal usage of resources based on external requests made by users or processes in a reactive way. In this paper, a real-time reference architecture is introduced in which components implementing functions of real-time system elements or blocks such as transducers, controllers, and actuators are designed. The architecture of the autonomic computing software also contains components that implement functionalities specific to real-time systems. The transducers, controllers, and actuators are thus connected via real-time pattern components such as concurrency, priority, and reliability patterns. © 2007 IEEE.

Highly efficient transfer of quantum resources including quantum excitations, states, and information on quantum networks is an important task in quantum information science. Here, we propose a bipartite-graph framework for studying quantum excitation transfer in bosonic networks by diagonalizing the intermediate sub-network between the sender and the receiver to construct a bipartite-graph configuration. We examine the statistical properties of the bosonic networks in both the original and bipartite-graph representations. In particular, we investigate quantum excitation transfer in both the finite and infinite intermediate-normal-mode cases, and show the dependence of the transfer efficiency on the network configurations and system parameters. We find the bound of maximally transferred excitations for various network configurations and reveal the underlying physical mechanisms. We also find that the dark-mode effect will degrade the excitation transfer efficiency. Our findings provide a new insight for the design and optimization of quantum networks. DPNet: Dynamic Pooling network for Accurate and Efficient Size-Aware Tiny Object Detection

In unmanned aerial systems, especially in complex environments, accurately detecting tiny objects is crucial. Resizing images is a common strategy to improve detection accuracy, particularly for small objects. However, simply enlarging images significantly increases computational costs and the number of negative samples, severely degrading detection performance and limiting its applicability. This paper proposes a Dynamic Pooling network (DPNet) for tiny object detection to mitigate these issues. DPNet employs a flexible down-sampling strategy by introducing a factor (df) to relax the fixed down-sampling process of the feature map to an adjustable one. Furthermore, we design a lightweight predictor to predict df for each input image, which will be used to decrease the resolution of feature map in backbone. Thus, we achieve input-aware down-sampling. We design an Adaptive Normalization Module (ANM) to make a unified detector well compatible with different dfs. At the same time, we also design a guidance loss to supervise the predictor’s training. DPNet realizes the dynamic allocation of computing resources to trade off detection accuracy and efficiency through this. Experiments on the TinyCOCO and TinyPerson datasets show that our DPNet can save over 35% and 25% GFLOPs, respectively, while maintaining comparable detection *** code will be made publicly available. © 2014 IEEE.

Photocatalytic hydrogen production technology is an emerging process with a great significance to alleviate energy crisis and environmental pollution issues. Nonetheless, this technology still not yet commercialized due to the unsatisfactory photocatalytic reaction performance. In this work, we designed and prepared a set of high performance and robust Pd single-atom modified In2O3/Nb2O5-10 (Pd-InNb-10) S-scheme composites via an oil bath co-precipitation, annealing, and reduction reaction strategy. The optimal 1.0 wt%Pd-InNb-10 composite achieved the highest H2 evolution rate of 80.15 mmol h−1 g−1, which was 4.9-and 81.8-fold greater than those of In2O3/Nb2O5-10 (InNb-10) composite and pristine In2O3, respectively, with an outstanding stability and 28.9 % apparent quantum efficiency (AQE) under 400 nm monochromatic light. This work also featured a comprehensive understanding of photocatalyst structure, S-scheme charge transport, enhanced internal electric field, and Pd single-atom promotion effect. The first principal simulations verified the essential role of Pd single-atom in enhancing the adsorption and modulating the H+ adsorption behavior for improving the overall catalytic efficiency. This work presents guide for the development and construction of complex photocatalysts for efficient hydrogen production technology. © 2025 Elsevier B.V.

Autonomic computing has received a great deal of attention from the research community in recent years. Many techniques have been proposed to monitor, analyze, and change the system under observation, but less attention has been paid to adapting the autonomic computing loop itself. Based on previous results on the design and implementation of a reference real-time architecture for autonomic computing, a self-adapting loop based on system-specific adaptation knowledge, which includes the types and properties of autonomic computing components, behavioural constraints, and strategies for adaptation is proposed in this paper. The proposed system is an integral part of the real-time system that controls the behaviour of the computing environment, evaluating its global behaviour using criteria that take into account the mathematical description of the time variation of the number of users in the system. Based on this evaluation, the adaptive system changes the control structure of the autonomic computing environment by replacing its controller with one matching the user time variation law. Elements of the self-adapting loop and the tradeoff of introducing additional overhead to the autonomic computing processes are discussed.
