Vehicle edge computing (VEC) offers users low-latency and high-reliability services by using computational resources at the network's edge. Nevertheless, because of inadequate infrastructure and limited resources, computation-intensive and delay-sensitive vehicle applications cannot be performed efficiently at the edge. Therefore, several studies have used the idle resources of parked vehicles to assist in computation offloading. In this paper, we propose a parked vehicle-assisted vehicle edge computing architecture considering multi-agent collaboration, including intelligent vehicles and edge servers. Additionally, we propose a framework for a parallel Internet of Vehicles (IoV) utilizing computational experiment. The service provider is assigned the role of owning VEC resources and recruiting parking vehicle resources. The model was constructed by using the resource consumption-service relationship of both offloading parties to ensure service quality. First, a Stackelberg game model was constructed based on the interaction between requesting vehicles and a service provider. The latter was the leader, and the requesting vehicles were the followers. The Nash equilibrium for optimal pricing and offloading allocations was attained and verified, and a distributed gradient-based equilibrium algorithm was designed to solve the Stackelberg game model and obtain the final decision through mutual communication. The method also protects the privacy of participants and respects the willingness of requesting vehicles to offload. Finally, the simulation experiments confirmed that the proposed algorithm can achieve game equilibrium. Furthermore, it outperformed state-of-the-art algorithms in improving the service provider's utility. IEEE

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are essential for various applications, but their architecture makes them vulnerable to attacks. While traditional security methods like authentication and encryption offer some protection, they often fall short against specific node attacks. This paper introduces the Secure Energy Aware Routing (SEAR) strategy, which uses trust-based assessments to exclude malicious nodes while optimizing energy consumption. SEAR factors in node trust, hop time, and residual energy to ensure reliable data transmission through trustworthy nodes. MATLAB simulations on networks of varying sizes (100–500) compare SEAR with existing methods (EAD and EASER), demonstrating SEAR's superior performance. Results show significant improvements in packet delivery ratio (13-16%), network throughput (19–24 %), energy consumption (32-36 % ), packet loss (16-190/0), and end-to-end latency (21-26 % ), proving SEAR's effectiveness in enhancing WSN security, energy efficiency, and performance.

Optimizing various wireless user tasks poses a significant challenge for networking systems because of the expanding range of user requirements. Despite advancements in Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL), the need for customized optimization tasks for individual users complicates developing and applying numerous DRL models, leading to substantial computation resource and energy consumption and can lead to inconsistent outcomes. To address this issue, we propose a novel approach utilizing a Mixture of Experts (MoE) framework, augmented with Large Language Models (LLMs), to analyze user objectives and constraints effectively, select specialized DRL experts, and weigh each decision from the participating experts. Specifically, we develop a gate network to oversee the expert models, allowing a collective of experts to tackle a wide array of new tasks. Furthermore, we innovatively substitute the traditional gate network with an LLM, leveraging its advanced reasoning capabilities to manage expert model selection for joint decisions. Our proposed method reduces the need to train new DRL models for each unique optimization problem, decreasing energy consumption and AI model implementation costs. The LLMenabled MoE approach is validated through a general maze navigation task and a specific network service provider utility maximization task, demonstrating its effectiveness and practical applicability in optimizing complex networking systems.

Generative AI (GAI) has emerged as a significant advancement in artificial intelligence, renowned for its language and image generation capabilities. This paper presents "AIGenerated Everything" (AIGX), a concept that extends GAI beyond mere content creation to real-time adaptation and control across diverse technological domains. In networking, AIGX collaborates closely with physical, data link, network, and application layers to enhance real-time network management that responds to various system and service settings as well as application and user requirements. Networks, in return, serve as crucial components in further AIGX capability optimization through the AIGX lifecycle, i.e., data collection, distributed pre-training, and rapid decision-making, thereby establishing a mutually enhancing interplay. Moreover, we offer an in-depth case study focused on power allocation to illustrate the interdependence between AIGX and networking systems. Through this exploration, the article analyzes the significant role of GAI for networking, clarifies the ways networks augment AIGX functionalities, and underscores the virtuous interactive cycle they form. This article paves the way for subsequent future research aimed at fully unlocking the potential of GAI and networks. © 2023, CC BY.

The growth of the Internet of Things (IoT) presents challenges in the field of security. The Intrusion Detection system is an alternative to protecting the internet of things. In this study, we propose an intrusion detection system model that combines unsupervised algorithm and a deep neural network. Autoencoder as unsupervised learning algorithm has a function as a feature extractor that speeds up the learning process on a deep neural network. The performance of a deep learning model depends heavily on the selection of hyperparameters of neural network architecture. In this case, we used Bayesian Hyperparameter Optimization to perform hyperparameter tuning of deep learning models with various activation and weight initialization techniques. The accumulation result is useful to help determine the correct activation function and weight initialization and the hyperparameters that most influence the deep learning model. The results of this study show that Bayesian hyperparameter optimization can improve classification results significantly. Evaluation using the BoT-IoT dataset, the classification accuracy results in deep learning model can reach 99.99%. © 2020 IEEE.

This Fog Computing is an extension of Cloud Computing technology to the network edge, which enables a newer breed of services and applications. Resource sharing and resource discovery is considered to be critical for the performance of fog computing applications. In general, the methods to reduce are consumption of energy in heterogonous network is very minimal. Considering the higher consumption of energy in heterogeneous networks as a problem statement, this work proposes a machine learning model to reduce the consumption of energy demand in fog computing Internet of Things (IoT) services. Considering the problem, the machine learning model adopts network density, latency and mobility as its energy constraints and designs an objective function to support the lower energy consumption in the network. The simulation of the proposed method is carried out between the proposed and existing methods in terms of various performance metrics. The result shows that the proposed machine learning method in Fog IoT environment is efficient in conserving the energy than the other methods. © 2020 IEEE.

Hyperspectral imagery is widely used in remote sensing applications that take into account thousands of spectral channel compositions over a single scene. Hyperspectral imagery requires accurate models of learning to extract the hyperspectral features in an image. Due to the presence of its spatial and spectral resolution, the image learning model presents a core challenge due to its complicated nature of image frames. In order to assist it during the learning process, several attempts have been made to address its complicated nature. However, these methods failed to provide the hyperspectral imagery with a deeper understanding. Because of the presence of mixed pixels, limited training samples and redundant data, the utilization of deep learning techniques addresses the problems. The deep learning process addresses the complex image data relationship. In this paper, various deep learning methods are studied which are used for the learning of hyperspectral imagery. Initially, we present an overview on various deep learning methods for various image processing techniques. A system review is then carried out on various hyperspectral image learning models based on deep learning. © 2020 IEEE.

Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) emerges as maximization problem is formulated to facilitate RIS discrete an efficient and promising technology for the next wireless phase design and RIS placement optimization, which is subject generation networks and has attracted a lot of attention owing to coverage probability constraint. Simulation results validate to the capability of extending wireless coverage by reflecting that better coverage performance and higher travel distance signals toward targeted receivers. Cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output (CF mMIMO) systems serve the user equipments (UEs) by geographically distributed access points (APs) by means of joint transmission and reception. To limit the power consumption due to fronthaul signaling and processing, each UE should only be served by a subset of the APs, but it is hard to identify that subset. Previous works have tackled this combinatorial problem heuristically. In this paper, we propose a sparse distributed processing design for CF mMIMO, where the AP-UE association and long-term signal processing coefficients are jointly optimized. We formulate two sparsity-inducing mean-squared error (MSE) minimization problems and solve them by using efficient proximal approaches with block-coordinate descent. For the downlink, more specifically, we develop a virtually optimized large-scale fading precoding (V-LSFP) scheme using uplink-downlink duality. The numerical results show that the proposed sparse processing schemes work well in both uplink and downlink. In particular, they achieve almost the same spectral efficiency as if all APs would serve all UEs, while the energy efficiency is 2-4 times higher thanks to the reduced processing and signaling.
