Because of increasing power densities, microchannel systems are being explored for two-phase cooling of ultra high power electronic devices. Flow instability is a potential problem in any two-phase microchannel cooling system especially for transient applications. With various two-phase flow stabilities possible in a microscale boiling system, the overall cooling performance deteriorates significantly. For better dynamic thermal management of microelectronic systems, a family of oscillatory flow boiling heat transfer correlations and active stabilizing flow control methods have been developed. © 2010 IEEE.

A token-pass protocol over Ethernet network architecture is proposed in this paper for nuclear instrument and control environment. The proposed protocol indicates the token holds the frame transmission right so that the frame can be deterministic to avoid the collision from the CSMA/CD architecture. This token-pass bus architecture is also suitable for exchanged information between each share memory in each control unit because the broadcast can exchange one control unit's information to others easier. With the NS2 simulation, the protocol improves traffic queuing delay, delay variance, and throughput with or without broken control units.

The NIM has been established a radiation thermometer with center wavelength 1.6 μm, measurement range from 200°C to 1085°C. This paper introduces the measurement principle, structure and calibration method of Sakuma method. The repeatability at Al fixed point is 0.14°C. The size of source effect is 0.11% from the diameter of the source from 5mm to 50 mm. The uncertainty of the radiation thermometer is 0.4°C at 200°C, bellowing 0.3°C at Zn fixed point, Al fixed point and Cu fixed point.

This paper proposes an analytical design method for the linear multivariable non-square systems with multiple time delays and nonminimum-phase zeros. Based on Internal Model Control(IMC) theory, a multivariable non-square controller of full matrix form is designed for the non-square processes. In the controller design procedure, a simple method is presented to factor the transfer function matrix of the processes into minimum-phase and nonminimum-phase portions. In order to improve the robustness of the control system, a filter is designed in the control structure. To guarantee the robust stability of the system, an analytical calculation method is also proposed to obtain the low bounds of the control parameters. Simulation is illustrated to demonstrate the validity of the proposed control schemes.

At present, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) AC servo system based on vector control has attracted more and more attentions and the research on it must be a kind of inevitable development trend and focus in the future. This paper is based on DSP TMS320F2812, which is designed for special-purpose on motor control by TI Company, and designs a set of hardware control system for PMSM. The software is written by C2000 assembly language, which realized the speed, current and position loop control. The flow chart of interrupt service routine is available. The simulation results show the excellent performance of DSP control.

A new method to mitigate the adverse effects of PWM inverter is discussed in this paper. A PWM inverter fed ac motor drive system capable of suppressing all the adverse effects of PWM inverter based on active cancellation method is developed. An active EMI filter proposed for this system is characterized by sophisticated connection of two small separate filters, which they can mitigate common mode voltages produced by PWM inverter and can suppress leakage current. As a result small active filter with ability of reducing of all the adverse effects is approached. Experimental results show the reduction characteristics of the shaft voltage, bearing current and leakage current in the whole system

This paper proposes an induction motor drive system capable of suppressing shaft voltage and electromagnetic interference (EMI). A filter developed for this system is characterized by sophisticated connection of two small passive filters between inverter output and motor which can compensate for common mode voltages produced by PWM inverter and between motor neutral point and rectifier input which can suppress leakage current and EMI. As a result small passive filter with ability of reducing of EMI in mains side and shaft voltage is approached. Experimental results show the reduction characteristics of the shaft voltage, common mode voltage and EMI

A systematic approach to the design of the conducted electromagnetic interference （EMI） filter of high-density plasma cutting power supply has been developed. Converter components have been accurately modeled, with parasitic elements extracted to reveal their impacts on the EMI noises. Circuit simulations have been used to analyze and minimize the EMI noises. Conducted EMI noise measurement and filter design of this power supply have been achieved which successfully satisfy the FCC class B limits in the frequency range from 150 kHz to 30 MHz. The analyses and experimental results show that the designed filter guarantees that the required attenuation will be achieved.
