The identification of objects that blend in with their surroundings has long been a concern in fields including defence, wildlife monitoring, and surveillance due to the difficulty of detecting such objects. This finding is significant because it could greatly enhance our capacity to detect camouflaged objects, transforming the field of real-time object detection. Existing image processing methods often fail miserably when adequately capturing this aspect. This dissertation's primary focus is identifying devices with complicated patterns, legacy interference, and inadequate contrast;nonetheless, in disguised scenarios, all of these features cause identification to be unsuccessful. This research often suggests a new approach called the Linear Edge Detecting Scheme for Camouflaged Object Detection (LEDS-COD) in these difficult cases. The LEDS-COD system can enhance item visibility in low-comparison settings by highlighting critical edges and descriptions. Pattern differentiation methodologies and modern facility-side recognition techniques are combined to accomplish this goal. The approach successfully differentiated items because it zeroed in on texture and comparative details that would otherwise go unnoticed by humans or advanced algorithms. LEDS-COD is useful in many areas, including the Navy, autonomous surveillance systems, and animal protection, where the real-time identification of hidden devices is essential. Results from a simulation study using various datasets, including concealed objects, show that LEDS-COD surpasses conventional detection methods in recognition accuracy, processing speed, and perseverance. The recommended technique exceeded the requirements for obtaining improved object detection estimates for challenging conditions like those with complex backdrops and changing illumination. According to this study, LEDS-COD can be devastating in improving real-time camouflage detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Emotion recognition through facial expressions and gesture analysis has emerged as a key area of research in computer vision and human-computer interaction. The ability to automatically detect and classify human emotions has wide-ranging applications, from enhancing user experiences to improving mental health monitoring and surveillance systems. This project builds on this background to develop a comprehensive system for recognizing emotions and gestures in both humans and animals. The system integrates facial emotion recognition, hand gesture interpretation, and animal emotion detection into a single platform. Using advanced deep learning models and computer vision libraries, the system classifies facial expressions into categories such as happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, and neutral. The gesture recognition component interprets hand signals to convey messages like 'need help' or 'need water.' An innovative aspect of this work is the extension of emotion recognition to animals, particularly focusing on species like dogs and monkeys. Implemented primarily in Python, the system leverages libraries such as OpenCV and DeepFace. By combining these different modalities of nonverbal communication analysis, the project presents a versatile solution with potential applications in human-computer interaction, mental health monitoring, security, and animal welfare. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper presents a novel methodology to design fault secured JPEG-compression-decompression (codec) hardware accelerator with piracy detective control using secure fingerprint template of intellectual property (IP) vendor. In the proposed approach, firstly, the fault secured schedule for JPEG-codec design is generated from its behavioral description. Subsequently, in order to enable detective control against piracy, secure digital template corresponding to fingerprint biometric of IP vendor is generated and implanted into the design. In order to do so, firstly, fingerprint features are transformed based on IP vendor specified key-set. Subsequently, the generated secure fingerprint template in the form of encoded hardware security constraints is implanted into the design during behavioral/ high-level synthesis phase of integrated circuit (IC) design. The implanted hardware security constraints thereby ensure the seamless detection and isolation of fake/pirated design versions during piracy detection process, before their conjunction into system on chip (SoC) of electronic systems. The proposed approach achieves the following: i) fault secured hardware accelerator for JPEG-codec with integrated piracy detective control at negligible design cost overhead ii) higher resiliency against tampering attack and iii) lower probability of coincidence (indicating definitive proof of ownership for genuine IP vendor). © 2023 IEEE.

A scheme for edge computing-enabled offloading in a digital twin (DT) enabled heterogeneous network (HetNet) of multi-services IoT devices (IDs) is proposed. This scheme optimizes the association and handover of IDs, offloading ratio, and resource allocation considering the number of IDs, deadline requirements, and resource capacities. The objective is to enhance future generation networks by considering the ID movement, diverse ID requests, and network heterogeneity. We formulate the problem as Joint ID assOciatIon, offloadiNg ratio, Wireless bandwidth and computing reSource allocation, and digital twin placEment (JOINWISE), aiming to minimize the task completion time of all IDs while considering ID movement. Since JOINWISE is a mixed-integer nonlinear problem, we decompose it into two sub-problems: the ID Association (IDA) problem and the offloading Ratio, DT plAcement, bandwiDth and computing resource allOcation (RADIO) problem. IDA can be solved by mapping it to a multi-dimensional multiple knapsacks problem. Due to the non-convexity, high dimension of decision variables, and dynamic HetNet environment of RADIO, we propose a deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG) based reinforcement learning method to iteratively solve the two sub-problems. Simulation results have confirmed the effectiveness of our proposed scheme in tackling the JOINWISE problem. © 2015 IEEE.

This paper introduces Agricultural Advancement using NLP (AA-NLP) techniques as a strategy to overcome the limitations of traditional agricultural management information systems. There is a lot of unstructured data available but this situation makes agricultural research inefficient because of its knowledge extraction and usage failure. This problem is addressed by combining an ontology framework developed for agricultural information management with Natural Language Processing (NLP) methods. The solution, AA-NLP, utilizes modern NLP algorithms which extract, classify and evaluate agricultural information from many textual sources that include research papers, reports and online repositories. AA-NLP achieves effective information retrieval and exploitation through named entity identification, sentiment analysis and semantic similarity as well as other techniques to convert unstructured input into structured ontological representations. Applying AA-NLP has several benefits such as increased discoverability of relevant agricultural information, automatic classification of scientific findings, and generation of actionable insights for decision making in farming practices, crop management and formulation of agricultural policies. The effectiveness of AA-NLP was analyzed in this paper by measuring the precision associated with knowledge extraction and ontology creation through various performance metrics including accuracy, sustainability farming practices, agricultural productivity and precision. © 2024 IEEE.

Automated speech recognition (ASR) systems struggle with Bengali, which is the fifth most spoken language. Bengali has a varied morphology, many dialects, and limited high-quality annotated voice data. Traditional voice recognition techniques work well however struggle with Bengali phonetics and syntax. This method eliminates the need for large amounts of tagged data and the difficulties of differentiating sounds in different languages, both issues are addressed by this procedure. The research in this paper offers an Intellectual Bengali Speech Recognition System using Deep Learning Techniques (IBSRS-DLT). The model in this system uses transformer architecture and attention processes to manage Bengali speech pattern long-range dependencies. The IBSRS-DLT outperforms standard models in recognition accuracy using a pre-trained transformer model modified for phonetic and lexical correctness and fine-tuned on Bengali datasets. After training on a vast Bengali speech corpus, real-world datasets and rigorous simulations confirm the system. IBSRS-DLT can be used for automatic transcription, voice-controlled devices, and Bengali virtual assistants, such applications are efficient and accessible. The simulation showed a considerable boost in recognition speed and a decrease in keyword mistakes compared to current methods. This paper shows that deep learning can solve linguistic issues in ASR systems, enabling scalable regional language detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Stock market investments are highly rewarding but also high in risk. Modern investors use variety of tools to take informed investment decisions. In the current era of digital world, financial service industry has generated huge volume and immense verities of data with extreme speed. Due to the rapid growth in data collection and the heterogeneous nature and complexity of the data, there is a need for Big Data analytical solution that would be able to deal with the stock market data. Large volumes of unstructured, heterogeneous raw data can be stored in a massively scalable manner using data lakes, which are the ideal solution to the big data storage conundrum. The ability of a data lake to preserve data in its original format while processing it at runtime using a schema on-read technique is its key feature. The challenge faced in the data lake is performing analytics which is a significant tool to calculate and analyze the stock market. The proposed architecture of Azure Databricks DeltaLake (ADDL) with Azure DataLake Storage Generation 2 (ADLSG2) is used for analytical processes like Fibonacci retracement for better stock analysis, which aid in forecasting the market price for better investment. As a result, the research focus is to produce a storage having read as well as write capabilities by taking into consideration the Extract-Load-Transform (ELT) operation on the datasource. In this experimental databricks implementation, runtime is performed using open source of Apache Spark API and a highly improved execution engine, which results in a significant performance improvement when comparing to the standard source of Apache Spark available on the ADLS platform. Additionally, the Fibonacci retracement level calculation is achieved with the analytics and forecasting of test close price with various ML and DL techniques such as KNN, LSTM are compared with original price of the test data for better prediction of forecast close price. © 2023 IEEE.

The current prevalent approach of the Internet of Health and Medical Things entails proactively preventing disease onset through routine monitoring of individuals' physical activities, making Human Activity Recognition (HAR) and Behaviour Analysis an important field of study. Sports Activity Recognition (SAcR) is a subset of HAR that focuses on identifying athletic movements. computer Vision, Environmental Sensors, and Wearable Sensors are the three main methods for monitoring such activities. When the merits and limitations of these methods are considered, Wearable Sensors emerge as the most practical option. This study introduces the Mukhtasir-Khail-Net, a model with only 651 parameters that efficiently uses addition layers. When applied to six sports activities, the model achieves an impressive average accuracy of 98.865% using inertial sensor data generated by wearable sensors. For benchmark purposes, the presented model is also evaluated on the WISDM 11 dataset which is a Human Activity Recognition dataset from Fordham University and has achieved an accuracy of 94.24%. © 2024 IEEE.

GPT is a large language model (LLM) derived from natural language processing that can generate a human-like text using machine learning. However, these models raise questions about authenticity and reliability of material, particularly in fields such as journalism, social media, and academia, despite their usefulness for automating text-based tasks. Detecting machine-generated text is thus an important difficulty in ensuring content integrity. This study investigates the use of huge language models as a technique for recognizing machine-generated material. The author proposes a comprehensive detection model by evaluating the language patterns, syntactic structures, and stylistic traits that separate AI-generated literature from human writing. In addition, this research investigate the possibilities of fine-tuning models designed expressly for text identification tasks and evaluate their performance using LLM - Detect AI Generated Text datasets. In digital ecosystems, LLMs are effective at detecting AI-generated text, providing a novel approach for content moderation, academic integrity checks, and synthetic media detection. An increasingly AI-powered future will require a model that can discriminate between human and machine-generated writing in real-time. According to experimental findings, the CNN architecture's design combined with the use of DistilBERT embeddings allows for the effective and efficient classification of AI generated text data, achieving an exceptional 98% accuracy rate. © 2024 IEEE.

Malignant melanoma, the most dangerous form of skin cancer, has become more common in recent years. The persistent global increase in this cancer, as well as the high medical costs and death rate, have made early detection of this malignancy a priority. Melanoma survival and cure are directly proportional to its thickness;if it can be found early, the survival rate will be enhanced. Despite the fact that significant progress has been achieved in the identification of skin malignancies, there are still significant issues. In comparison to the naked eye, computer-based detection systems can enhance the diagnosis rate of melanoma by 5-30 percent. Because visual perception frequently contains flaws, the need for a second viewpoint with greater precision and consistency is underlined. On the other side, it minimizes the tasks and responsibilities that physicians are responsible for. Many studies have been conducted in the area of automated melanoma detection. The potential benefits of such investigations are enormous and unquantifiable. Furthermore, the challenges are numerous, and fresh contributions in this field are greatly valued. However, it is widely known that more reliable and consistent detection methods necessitate a higher level of accuracy. The goal of this paper is to provide a skin cancer diagnosis system that can automatically identify lesions as malignant or benign. Preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction and selection, and classification are some of the methods used in an automated skin cancer diagnosis. © 2022 IEEE
