Recommendation of Resource Allocation decision Based on Bipartite Graph Network Structure

In resource allocation decisions in business, fully understanding customers’ needs and preferences helps to maximise benefits. As a result, in the modern business environment, the design of customized recommendation systems has gained a lot of attention. To this end, the study designs a recommendation algorithm for resource allocation decision based on improved two-part graph network structure. In this algorithm, an improved K-means clustering algorithm is introduced to deeply mine potential information. The calculation of similarity between users is also optimised to assist the target user to find the real neighbouring users. The findings demonstrate that, in comparison to the other algorithms, the resource allocation recommendation algorithm based on improved bipartite graph suggested in the study has a greater hit rate. The hit rate of the suggested algorithm can reach 32.5% when the recommendation list length is 10, which is a 21.5% improvement over the collaborative filtering algorithm. The suggested algorithm’s popularity is only 39.1, which is 69.3 less than the collaborative filtering algorithm when the suggestion list length is 10. Furthermore, the suggested algorithm for resource allocation decision-making created by the research has a greater recommendation accuracy, more personalization, and diversity, as seen by the proposed algorithm’s mean Hamming distance of 0.976. Through an improved bipartite graph network, the algorithm can fully analyze the historical preference information of users, effectively capture the complex relationship between users and products, generate personalized recommendation lists, and improve user satisfaction and purchase conversion rates. It provides an effective recommendation role for resource allocation decisions in modern business and helps to create greater economic benefits. © 2025 Institute of Electronics Engineers of Korea. Contemporary business practices necessitate organizations to undertake multiple simultaneous projects, which can result in challenges related to meeting deadlines, budget constraints, and specifications of the end user. Although numerous studies have investigated ways to improve project management outcomes, relatively few have examined project management in multi-project environments. Multi-project environments present unique challenges such as coordination and collaboration between and within project teams, scheduling, resource allocation, and skill development. Therefore, a systematic literature review was conducted to identify the 16 most-cited articles relevant to the topic published in the past ten years, in addition to the five most-cited articles published in the past three years. These articles were analyzed to identify the most pertinent factors affecting resource allocation in multi-project environments and provide recommendations for future research directions. The data analysis approach adopted in this study was a content analysis. Through content analysis, the systematic literature review identified three major themes: (1) agile or flexible methodologies in multiproject environments, (2) human resources and labor allocation and scheduling, and (3) various factors affecting resource scheduling and allocation. This study provides an opportunity to scrutinize the past 10 years of research on the factors affecting resource allocation for simultaneous projects in programs, highlighting the main research themes and knowledge gaps, and proposing an agenda for future research.

Enhanced Financial Performance Classification Using an Improved Id3 Algorithm with decision Coherence

The evaluation of enterprise financial performance is of great significance to investors, creditors and managers. Through the performance evaluation, we can judge the comprehensive strength of the enterprise and then take corresponding countermeasures. The study mainly quantifies the three financial performance factors of profitability, operating ability and solvency in segments. At the same time, variables are constructed for the statement subjects other than the performance factors. In addition, an iterative binary tree three-generation algorithm model based on decision coordination degree is introduced to classify and measure the financial performance of enterprises. The study used 528 financial statements from a manufacturing industry and employed a mean imputation strategy and Z-score standardization method for preprocessing. Ultimately, 19 variables were selected for financial performance evaluation. Using the model's construction time, classification accuracy, and area under the curve as evaluation indicators, verify the performance advantages of the proposed model in financial performance evaluation. The results show that when the sample size is 300, the construction time of the improved model is only 120ms, and out of 50 financial statements, only 7 financial statements with "poor" profitability are misclassified as "excellent". The average classification accuracy of the improved model is 87.57% and the average area under the curve is 0.8369. In the solvency test, the average classification accuracy of the improved model in the solvency indicator is 84.21%. In the test of operating capacity indicators, the mean value of classification accuracy of the improved model proposed by the Institute in operating capacity indicators is as high as 85.16%. The results show that the classification model proposed by the Institute has the least construction time and the highest classification accuracy. This study delves into the evaluation of the Komodo dragons Adaptive Conservation program (KACP) at Komodo National Park in Indonesia through Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). It aims to understand how the programs components align with community priorities and assess its effectiveness. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, this research analyzes community perceptions of KACP's critical elements, spanning eco-tourism initiatives to environmental protection strategies. The community is categorized into local advocates, eco-tourism enthusiasts, and eco-community harmonizers, identifying how each group perceives and interacts with various facets of KACP. The findings reveal significant differences in perceptions of importance and performance among these groups, providing insights into areas of strength and those needing improvement. Additionally, the study includes an analysis of demographic influences on these perceptions through Logit and Probit models, aiming to understand the impacts across different community segments. The results highlight the necessity for an adaptive and responsive design in conservation efforts, considering community expectations and ecological impacts. despite offering comprehensive insights, the study acknowledges limitations in the demographic scope and suggests future research directions, such as longitudinal studies and an expanded analysis of variables. These findings offer critical guidance for policymakers and conservation practitioners to enhance conservation programs’ effectiveness and community alignment, emphasizing the need to adapt to the challenges and changes introduced by KACP. © 2024 Elsevier GmbH

Air pollution has become a major global threat to human health. Urbanization and industrialization over the past few decades have increased the air pollution. Plausible connections have been made between air pollutants and dementia. This study used machine learning algorithms (k-nearest neighbors, random forest, gradient-boosted decision trees, eXtreme gradient boosting, and CatBoost) to investigate the association between cognitive impairment and air pollution. data from the Taiwan Biobank and 75 air-pollution-monitoring stations in Taiwan were analyzed to determine individual levels of exposure to air pollutants. The pollutants examined were particulate matter with a diameter of ≤ 2.5 μm (PM), nitrogen dioxide, nitric oxide, carbon monoxide, and ozone. The results revealed that the most strongly correlated with cognitive impairment were ozone, PM, and carbon monoxide levels with adjustment of educational level, age, and household income. The model based on these factors achieved accuracy as high as 0.97 for detecting cognitive impairment, indicating a positive association between air pollutions and cognitive impairment.

His recent publications are on philosophy of a photograph hermeneutic reality of product and on philosophy of intimate spaces. R. Dhanuskodi has nearly 40 years of R&D experience at BHEL India in technical areas applicable for thermal power plants. He is a life member of The Institution of Engineers (India) and The Combustion Institute. He has won two BHEL’s Excel awards under the best author category for technical papers. He has visited France Netherlands and Germany under Indo-Europe Clean Coal Development Program. He has guided 42 UG PG and PhD project works. He holds 11 patents 40 copyrights and 2 design registrations. He has presented papers in 20 conferences and published in 10 national and international journals. R. Kaliappan completed his bachelors in electrical and electronics engineering and Masters in Computer Science. He has 36 years of research experience in different fields of power generation and power plant subsystems such as heat transfer studies on boiler circulation efficiency improvements of boiler subsystems product improvements/ enhancements and setting up test facilities for research studies. He has published a number of technical papers on MHD power generation and heat transfer studies in various national and international journals. Creative industry in Indonesia plays an important role since it gives a great economic contribution to Indonesia's GdP. The existing condition shows the increase of competition in the industry and thus resulting in the decreasing of sales. It becomes a problem since it affects the industry's marketing performance. This research is focusing on women entrepreneur (womenpreneur) who are currently involved in fashion industry. This research will explore marketing performance in fashion industry, as well as analyze the influence of innovation to marketing performance of womanpreneur in fashion industry. Most of the womenpreneur didn’t understand the importance of having an original product that has uniqueness. In terms of marketing performance, sales as well customer growth is going down. There is a positive influence between innovation a marketing performance of womenpreneur in fashion industry.

The epoxy composites with high thermal conductivity for metal-core printed circuit board(MCPCB) can be prepared by varnish coating and a hot press method. Alumina filler of plate-like shape was used as primary micro-filler, while plate-like alumina filler, h-BN, a-BN and s-BN filler were used for blending into the plate-like alumina filler as the secondary filler. Results showed that the secondary fillers a-BN and s-BN loaded epoxy composites have higher thermal conductivity than alumina filler single-loaded composites. Also, BN filler has high thermal conductivity, but h-BN filled epoxy composite has lower thermal conductivity than alumina filled epoxy composite. The decrease of voids in epoxy composite are very important, and the filler shape and surface modification is also necessary to achieve high thermal conductivity in epoxy composite for MCPCB

Kevlar fiber are artifical fibers that have been globally commonly used due to their attributes of a high modulus, a low elongation, an impact resistance, a chemical resistance, and thermostability. Therefore, this study proposes nonwoven geotextiles by corporating with recycled Kevlar unidirectoinal selvage with a low production cost, crimped polyester(PET) fibers, and low-melting-point PET(LPET) fibers. The content of LPET fiber is specified as 20 wt%, while the content of Kevlar fiber varies as 0 wt%, 5 wt%, 10 wt%, 15 wt%, and 20 wt%. The optimal tear strength of 195 N occurs with a content of Kevlar fiber being 20 wt%.

The purpose of establishing a ship recognition system is to research and develop effective ship contour capture in the natural sea environment. We can develop a ship recognition system that is reliable and fast based on a database of ship images. We propose a recognition algorithm for ship images. This system utilizes gradient vector flow to capture the ship image contour first and calculates the geometric eigenvalue using this contour and Fourier descriptor. The eigenvalues are used to perform separated rough and detailed recognition. A graphic user interface is developed and the validity of the proposed technique is demonstrated using identifying images.
