This paper presents Koch fractal aperture-coupled patch antennas operating in industrial scientific and medical band at 60 GHz (57 GHz to 64 GHz), for on-chip application. This work is the continuation of the development of aperture-coupled antennas with aperture and patch element built in 2 μm-thick aluminum lying on two layers of silicon with a height of 200 μm. The use of Koch fractal allowed the development of aperture-coupled antennas of greater perimeter with more metal in the patch elements, which promoted an increase in the gain. The observed gain for Koch fractal level 2 was of 10.55 dBi, with a bandwidth of 7.23 GHz, covering the ISM 60 GHz Band, and an increase of less than 10% in total patch dimension. For Koch fractal levels 0 (square), a polarization close to circular was achieved, with an axial ratio less than 6 at resonant frequencies.

This paper presents an approach for Web service (WS) composition that enables the automatic adjustment of the composition at run-time to deal with WS execution flaws, e.g., WS unavailability, failure to execute properly or to produce desired results. The WS composition problem is converted into a nondeterministic planning problem which, by its turn, is mapped to SAT. Afterwards, a SAT solver obtains all the possible WS compositions with a maximum length N, which are then fused into a contingency strategy (CS) according to compatibility criteria. Such strategy enables the process execution engine to readily choose the most suitable WS composition to enact, and switch to an alternative composition with minimum adaptation cost in case of any WS execution flaw.

This paper conducts a Systematic Mapping in order to outline a current overview of digital serious games applications' evaluations for game-based learning purposes on computerscience higher education. The search was performed on informatics' area electronic databases, resulting in 2,174 publications initially found. After sorting through the application of inclusion and exclusion criteria, remained 59. In the final phase, after thorough reading the extracted publications, has come up to 10 papers. The results reveal different practical approaches of digital serious games' applications evaluations that assess its different aspects' influence on students.

programmability is one of the key factors on software defined networks (SDN), once it allows to decouple between data plan and control plan. However, in such context, managing several applications' inputs and outputs is a little explored task on controllers field, which are not in a controlled and organized environment. This article proposes a method to make SDN applications to reach the administrator, allow him to manage his use in the network. This proposal is validated through performance tests in the repository, which stores the applications, along with developed modules to help its management and control, making the organization and coordination method safe, efficient and adjustable to any controller on software-defined network.
