Grid is the largest advance of network after Internet since the Grid System provides a specialty that can be used popularly and effectively. However, it is a challenge to the consistency and community of use on the data storages space of a Grid System. Therefore, the problem of application for the Computational Grid and Data Grid is more important. It can set up a usability, expandability, high operation capability, and large memory space in Grid with the Cluster system and parallel technique in order to solve the problem. In this paper, we provided a Grid with high operation capability and higher memories to solve the problem. As to the Grid setting, we take use of the Cluster computing to increase the operation effect for computing, and a PVFS2 with more storages effect for data. It can supply a quite correct platform for Grid user whether for large data access or huge operation.

In addition to the traditional massively parallel computers, distributed workstation clusters now play an important role in scientific computing, due to the advent of commodity high performance processors, low-latency/high-bandwidth networks and powerful development tools. In a cluster environment, we add more and more workstations for reaching more computing performance. Unfortunately, in general case, we don't have enough space for setting up many PCs to form a large-scale PC cluster, and more questions we are concerned about, for example, network topology, electric power, and management question etc. Thus, we can use several places for setting up a number of machines on each place, and enabling networking for transparent computing on each cluster node for enable an enormous node cluster. In this paper, we use some routing policy and a kernel module named Netfilter to enable three or more clusters to be connected as a big one. In our experimental environment we use three different quantities of nodes in each PC cluster connected via a Fast-Ethernet network environment. As experiment, we performed matrix multiplication for performance analysis.

Scenario has been used to describe agent behaviors in the context of environment situations in the specification languages for agent-based systems, such as SLABS. It becomes an important language facility in the declaration of an agent for specifying its behaviors in its environment. Therefore, towards agent-oriented programming, it is necessary to introduce and implement scenario mechanism in programming languages. This paper reports our attempts to support the language facility from the view of programming languages, and presents an approach to facilitating the scenario mechanism in agent-oriented programming. The basic idea is to extend object-oriented programming language to support agent-oriented programming, where Java is chosen as the base language. Firstly, the language framework of agent-oriented programming, SLABSp is presented, mostly conforming to SLABS, whose syntax is extended based on Java. Scenario mechanism is introduced as the new feature in the programming language. Secondly, the underlying object models are defined to serve as the semantics of the language, where agents are modeled by a couple of objects. A compiler has been built to compile the agent-oriented programs into Java. A running platform has been constructed as the multiagent runtime environment of SLABSp.

Cluster computers have become the vehicle of choice to build high performance computing environments. To fully exploit the computing power of these environments, one must utilize high performance network and protocol technologies, since the communication patterns of parallel applications running on clusters require low latency and high throughput, not achievable by using off-the-shell network technologies. We have developed a technology to build high performance network equipment, called MaestroS. This paper describes the novel techniques used by Maestro2 to extract maximum performance from the physical medium and studies the impact of software-level parameters. The results obtained clearly show that Maestro2 is a promising technology, presenting very good results both in terms of latency and throughput. The results also show the large impact of software overhead in the overall performance of the system and validate the need for optimized communication libraries for high performance computing.
