To address the common fuel-related problems in parking lots, especially in those without security or CCTV, we introduce a Fuel Monitoring System that makes use of the embedded system technology. With its realtime fuel level monitoring, this proactive solution seeks to solve worries about fuel theft. In the event that fuel theft occurs, the system's embedded Global Communications Technology (GSM) allows for seamless communication and prompt text message notification of vehicle owners. Our design places a high value on cost-effectiveness and simplicity while also showcasing technological innovation. Microcontroller integration transforms the system into an advanced, user-friendly way to improve vehicle security in a variety of parking situations. © 2024 IEEE.

The advent of the Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the most dynamic and exciting developments in information and communications technology which helps to ease the daily life of end users. However, the transmission of large amounts of private information transmitted through a network brings serious security and privacy concerns. The limited availability of resources like computing resources, memory, and power resources remain major challenges for implementing security in IoT. In this paper, we propose a highly secure lightweight authentication and data transmission scheme for smart IoT devices that acts as a countermeasure against various security vulnerabilities of the IoT environment and also meets the resource requirements of the IoT. The scheme uses Silicon Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) technology to uniquely identify each edge node in the IoT. We rely on the Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) for secure data transmission. All the methods in the proposed scheme are based on symmetric and lightweight cryptographic techniques which helps to reduce the computing power and energy requirement of the scheme. The proposed scheme is shown to be secure against various well-known attacks. Moreover, the proposed scheme achieves significantly lower energy consumption (ranging from 50% to 60%), reduced storage costs (ranging from 42% to 61%), decreased communication costs (ranging from 36% to 76%), and lowered computational costs (ranging from 14% to 66%) when compared to existing schemes. © 2024 IEEE.

There has been a rapid implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in health care systems. Neural networks, machine learning, deep learning, and other types of learning are the obvious next step in the automation that more powerful computers enable. Massive gains in efficiency, particularly in business and internet technologies, have already ushered artificial intelligence into everyday life [1] The most frequent area of application in this context is early illness detection. Thyroid disorders are an example of a condition that, in this case, can be successfully treated if found very early. In modern e-voting systems, ensuring robust security and integrity is paramount. To address this, the paper suggests the integration of retinal authentication as a pioneering method for voter verification. The proposed paper advocates the utilization of iris recognition technology to verify the voters. Leveraging the Daugman algorithm, unique patterns within the eye are meticulously identified, serving as an unparalleled biometric identifier. Subsequently, employing the RSA algorithm, this data is encrypted to fortify its confidentiality. An Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is then employed to authenticate the encrypted patterns, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Once verified, users are granted voting eligibility, marking a significant stride towards eliminating fraudulency of votes and enhancing the efficacy of the current voting infrastructure. By reducing the possibility of duplicate votes, retinal authentication enhances the voting system's dependability and impartiality. With this creative strategy, we can take a big step forward in maintaining democratic values and strengthening election integrity in the digital age. In such vital applications, retinal authentication is a useful technique for guaranteeing secure and precise identification due to the complexity, stability, and uniqueness of retinal patterns. Hence, this innovative approach not only bolsters security but also fosters trust and transparency in the democratic process. © 2024 IEEE.

Glaucoma is one of the chronic eye ailments that result in irreversible visual deterioration and is widely recognized as a significant contributor to the phenomenon of blindness on global terms. Early detection will help in drastically reducing the course of the disease. The paper proposes a three-phase novel framework for the localization of optic discs and glaucoma detection. It concentrated on early-stage identification to improve treatment outcomes. First, the median filtering and histogram equalization constitute the techniques for that process. With these techniques, different kinds of noise, such as Rayleigh, salt and pepper, Gaussian, and gamma noise, can efficiently be reduced in fundus images. At the result of this technique, the clarity of the images gets improved to a large extent and also makes the further analysis more accurate. In the next stage, location and segmentation of the optic cup and optic disc will be done accurately to obtain the desired output. To get the desired outcome, the optic disc and cup will be precisely located and segmented in the stage that comes next. For this purpose, use is made of the U-Net architecture in delineating these critical structures that lie within the eye. In the last stage, fundus images are classified to be either glaucomatous or non-glaucomatous using transfer learning-based models, prominently ResNet-50. With ResNet-50, the overall capability of the model has been highly enhanced to successfully analyze and identify complex patterns inside retinal images. Experimental results of this study, conducted using the ORIGA dataset, further testify to the effectiveness of the suggested framework. An accuracy rate of 96.78% is attained by the proposed framework, which turned out superior to the state-of-the-art approaches. © 2024 IEEE.

This research contributes to the development and deployment of smart parking system utilizing cutting-edge computer vision techniques. The study utilizes a subset of the Google Open Images Dataset focused on parking spaces to train a Custom Object Detection model tailored for low-computation devices. Employing YOLOv5 architecture and the Feature Pyramid Network (FPN), the system effectively detects parking spaces and objects within them. Utilizing ResNetv250 as the backbone architecture ensures precise feature extraction, resulting in high accuracy in identifying parking spots. Experimental results reveal the efficacy of the envisioned methodology, with Efficient YOLOv5 model achieving a mean Average Precision (mAP) of 0.970 for object detection in aerial dimensional frames. Graphical representations of F1-Confidence Curve and Precision-Confidence Curve demonstrate the model's robustness in balancing precision and recall, even with an imbalanced dataset. This research underscores the potential of the proposed smart parking system to revolutionize urban parking management, providing an efficient and accurate solution for parking space identification. © 2024 IEEE.

computer vision plays a crucial role in detecting objects. Has various applications, including traffic management and autonomous vehicles. This study aims to evaluate the performance of different object identification algorithms in the context of transportation in India. The unique traffic patterns, diverse vehicle types, and infrastructure challenges make it an interesting and demanding scenario for object detection systems. Our research focuses on assessing the precision, robustness, and suitability of state of the art object recognition algorithms like YOLO V6, YOLO V7, YOLO V8 and Faster R-CNN in identifying and categorizing objects commonly seen in traffic scenes. The findings from this study provide insights for developing transportation systems specifically designed for the Indian environment. The Biggest demanding situations for the attention professional is the identification and prognosis of the eye diseases from the given retinal pictures. The process of figuring out the form of eye sicknesses is hard and takes huge amount of time. Therefore, a computer advanced automated eye ailment detection system is needed for the detection of numerous eye diseases utilizing retinal photographs. As the imaging capabilities of deep studying algorithms improve, such systems may eventually be found out. In this paper, we use Deep Learning Concepts and CNN algorithm. The system is split into 3 classes, preprocessing, segmentation, and categorization. There are various modules used in this venture which consists of photograph enhancement and segmentation and many others for the system of eye tumour detection. The images from the dataset are first preprocessed and then the images are segmented and formed the trained dataset and then the classification process is done using CNN algorithm and the desired result is obtained. For this paper, we have developed an image classification algorithm. Each class represents a different eye disease. © 2024 IEEE.

The mining industry, a cornerstone of global economic development, is the process of obtaining minerals from a mine. It operates under the scrutiny of a complex legal framework encompassing numerous Acts, Rules, and Regulations. Navigating this intricate maze of legislation can be overwhelming for stakeholders in the mining sector. The existing methods for accessing, interpreting, and staying updated on mining-related legislation are often time-consuming and prone to errors. In response, we introduce a Mining Chatbot powered by RASA, an open-source conversational AI platform. The Mining Chatbot paper harnesses the capabilities of RASA, an AI-driven conversation management platform, to deliver an intelligent and responsive solution. Our proposed system leverages RASA's core components, including Natural Language Understanding (NLU), dialogue management, and integrations. Users can quickly access specific legal information, reducing the time and effort required to navigate complex legal documents. RASA's NLU capabilities ensure that the chatbot provides precise responses, minimizing the risk of misinterpretation. This chatbot, powered by RASA, is poised to revolutionize the way stakeholders in the mining industry access and understand mining-related legislation. © 2024 IEEE.
