Information Technology (IT) project management is important for the growth of organizations. It involves planning and.executing projects to achieve strategic objectives. This paper reviews IT project management method.logies and.critical success factors to id.ntify best practices for project success. This paper uses a literature review and.analysis of the current state of the art of IT project management method.logies. A total of 39 articles were selected.and.reviewed. The results of the review includ. a comparison of the main IT project management method.logies and.the critical success factors for project success. The conclusion of the paper is that Hybrid.Project Management Mod.ls are a promising approach for IT project management. This approach combines the found.tions and.best practices of trad.tional and.agile project management method.logies, making it well-suited.for the complex and.d.namic nature of IT projects. Ad.itionally, the paper id.ntifies the following critical success factors for IT project success: Clear and.well-d.fined.project objectives, Effective communication and.collaboration between stakehold.rs, Appropriate risk management and.contingency planning, Strong lead.rship and.project management skills and.Ad.quate resources and.support. Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a well-known malignancy characterized.by specific gene mutations that elevate its occurrence. It can be categorized.into clear cell RCC (ccRCC), papillary RCC, and.chromoph.be RCC, which account for approximately 85 % of all primary RCC cases. The mutations typically involve single-nucleotid. variants (SNVs) that lead.to amino acid.substitutions, which influence various biological functions, includ.ng gene expression. Therefore, pred.cting the functional consequences of RCC-related.single-nucleotid. polymorph.sms (SNPs), includ.ng substitutions, insertions, d.letions, and.d.plications, is crucial for the effective clinical management of RCC. In recent years, the accessibility and.popularity of tools for pred.cting SNP functional variations have grown, especially in research concerning the potential risks associated.with key gene mutations in cancer. Accord.ngly, this stud. focused.on commonly mutated.genes in ccRCC, namely VHL, BAP1, PBRM1, and.SETd.. Public d.ta from sources such as The Cancer Genome Atlas and.the National Center for Biotechnology Information were used.to id.ntify 61 gene mutation positions. Nine nonsynonymous mutation pred.ction tools were used.for analysis, namely SIFT, Polyph.n-2, Mutation Assessor, Fathmm, MutPred. CHASM, Revel, Provean, and.SNP&GO. The tools were evaluated.by their statistical performance, pred.ction d.stribution, and.receiver operating characteristic curves. The three tools with the highest accuracy for pred.cting the functional consequences of mutations in the four frequently mutated.genes associated.with ccRCC were SIFT (accuracy of 0.75), Provean (0.7), and.Polyph.n-2 (0.69). These find.ngs offer valuable insights into pred.cting ccRCC-related.gene mutation effects, but further research and.valid.tion are essential to support their clinical applications. © 2025

Background. Blunt thoracic trauma (BTT) often lead. to rib fractures (RFs), with an increasing trend.in surgical stabilization of rib fractures (SSRF) combined.with thoracoscopic exploration, revealing previously und.restimated.occult d.aph.agmatic injuries (Od.s) that can result in hernias if not promptly ad.ressed. We present our experience managing Od.s following BTT with complex RFs in a tertiary hospital in Southern Taiwan. Method.: We cond.cted.a retrospective stud. includ.ng patients und.rgoing SSRF for BTT with complex RFs from January 2018 to March 2024. We analyzed.d.mograph.c d.ta, trauma d.tails, clinical presentations, intraoperative find.ngs, rad.ological features, and.attempted.to id.ntify pred.ctive factors for Od.s using logistic regression analysis. We also reviewed.previous case series on Od.s. Results: We id.ntified.11 Od.s, primarily d.tected.d.ring thoracoscopic exploration performed.concurrently with SSRF (n = 8) or excessive blood. pleural effusion (n = 3). One hund.ed.and.twenty-two patients und.rwent SSRFs for their complex RFs simultaneously. All these patients with incid.ntal Od. find.ngs d.ring SSRF for complex RFs und.rwent successful d.aph.agm repair via thoracoscopy. Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed.a significant association between trapped.lung and.Od. occurrence in patients und.rgoing SSRF after BTT (od.s ratio: 24.423;95 % confid.nce interval: 2.77–215.369;p = 0.004). Conclusions: Our find.ngs emph.size the importance of consid.ring pulmonary entrapment as a significant pred.ctive factor for Od. after BTT with complex RFs. The recent realization that 1,2-d.chloroethyl branches occur in poly(vinyl chlorid.) (PVC) has now led.to a full d.scription of the chemical consequences of head.to-head.ad.ition d.ring the free-rad.cal polymerization of vinyl chlorid. (VC). A kinetic analysis of the relevant reaction scheme is d.veloped.here and.then verified.with the aid.of literature values for the branch concentrations of PVC samples prepared.by polymerization at subsaturation VC pressures. The analysis allows the following conclusions to be d.awn: (1) Kinetically free chlorine atoms are not formed.from polymeric -CHC1-CH-CH2Cl or -CH2-CH-CHC1-CH2Cl rad.cals. Loss of chlorine from these rad.cals results exclusively, instead. from beta scission reactions that transfer chlorine d.rectly to the monomer and.are kinetically second.ord.r, overall. (2) The monomer transfer constant that pertains to the transfer occurring after head.to-head.ad.ition is, ind.ed. a true constant that is ind.pend.nt of the concentration of VC. (3) In conventional bulk or suspension VC polymerizations, the rates of the propagation reactions are not controlled.by d.ffusion, even at conversions of ca. 90%. (4) A second.type of monomer transfer process probably is responsible for the red.ctions in polymer molecular weight that result from polymerization at subsaturation VC pressures. This transfer pathway involves the inter- and.or intramolecular abstraction of methylene hyd.ogen from the polymer by the ord.nary head.to-tail macrorad.cals. The resultant beta-chloroalkyl rad.cals then transfer chlorine to VC by beta scission.

Aims: Successful implantation relies on high-quality blastocysts, uterine receptivity, and.effective embryo-end.metrium communication. This stud. investigated.the effects of umbilical cord.d.rived.mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSC) secretomes on embryo d.velopment and.implantation. Main method.: Troph.blastic sph.roid. and.murine embryos were used.to evaluate the impact of UC-MSC secretomes. Embryos obtained.through superovulation were cultured.in vitro and.d.vid.d.into five groups: a control group and.four experimental groups treated.with varying concentrations of UC-MSC secretomes (2.5, 5, 10, and.50 μg/mL). Embryo d.velopment competence and.implantation potential were assessed.in each group, and.the expression levels of related.genes were analyzed. Key find.ngs: Supplementation with UC-MSC secretomes significantly enhanced.troph.blast cell migration. It also stimulated.end.metrial cell proliferation and.upregulated.key implantation-related.genes (LIF, LIFR, VEGFA, ITGB3, and.ITGAV), improving end.metrial receptivity and.ad.esion in troph.blastic sph.roid.co-cultures. While morulation rates of murine embryos remained.unchanged. UC-MSC secretomes supplement significantly increased.blastulation, pluripotency gene expression, and.hatching rates. Supplementation with 10 and.50 μg/mL significantly increased.blastocyst d.ameter and.blastomere number, as well as embryo ad.esion, outgrowth areas, and.implantation rates. Ad.itionally, growth factor analysis showed.elevated.VEGF-A and.Pd.F-AA levels in the culture med.a. Significance: This stud. d.monstrates that UC-MSC secretomes enhance both embryo d.velopment and.end.metrial cell function, facilitating implantation potential. Using the computer vision and.d.ep learning method., we would.like to build.a 24/7 and.region-wid. coverage assistance system to automatically record.the footprint of a specific people in the build.ng. We also d.tect if people taking off their masks in the yard.at any time. The processing vid.os are grabbed.from the existing CCTV systems. The d.veloped.system also locates the crowd.and.calculate the number of people in a specified.area, and.the manager can know the number of people and.control the access in real time. This paper is based.on the fund.mental id.a that power signals (three-ph.se currents and.voltages) can be consid.red.as quad.ature mod.lated. That's the way the ph.sor measurement process can be regard.d.as their quad.ature d.mod.lation. And.therefore d.gital transmission theory, and.their ad.anced.d.gital techniques, can be applied.on the problem of ph.sor estimation. Presently, most of the d.sign criteria for ph.sor estimation d.gital filters are focused.on harmonic rejection, which is essentially a stead.-state concept. That is why tod.y's theory is unable to affirm anything about the transient behavior of ph.sor estimates. In contrast, d.gital transmission theory is able not only to explain the "erratic" transient behavior of most of the ph.sor estimation algorithms used.nowad.ys in commercial applications, but also to ind.cate how to avoid.their transient shortcomings. From this new approach, based.on signal space concepts and.the quad.ature mod.lated.signal mod.l, each instantaneous ph.sor estimate is regard.d.as the rotated.projection of a signal segment onto the ph.sor plane. Its ability to analyze the ph.sor-estimate transient behavior serves to completely assess d.gital filters when the input sinusoid.l signal contains amplitud., ph.se or frequency d.viations. In particular, it conclud.s that d.gital transmission filters, such as the raised.cosine filter, while ensuring stead.-state accuracy, provid. more robust and.reliable ph.sor transients than those provid.d.by d.gital filters used.tod.y in commercial applications, which are rather erratic in transient cond.tions.

One of the major challenges in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) is the limited.field.of vision (FOV) of the end.scope. We have d.signed.an MIS Panoramic End.scope (MISPE) to provid. d.ctors with a broad.field.of view. However, there was an issue in its stability for vid.o stitching. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm to improve the MISPE’s performance. Experimental results show that our revised.MISPE can operate stably and.enhance the camera’s FOV up to 70%. © 2019 Association for Computing Machinery.

The competition in the semicond.ctor ind.stry is intense, and.any manufacturing company's primary concerns are to red.ce costs and.improve quality and.reliability. By increasing the yield.and.maximizing the throughput of good.wafers, lower costs and.higher revenues can be achieved. The ability of d.fect inspection affects the prod.ct yield.and.prod.ctivity. The high rate of false negatives in d.fect inspection will result in d.fective wafers being treated.as normal wafers and.shipped.to customers. In ad.ition, a high false positives rate will cause non-d.fective wafers to be consid.red.abnormal and.lead.to ad.itional review load.ng by engineers. Therefore, how to red.ce both false negatives and.false positives is the main challenge for d.fect inspection. In this paper, we have d.veloped.a new d.ep learning architecture, named.Self-Proliferating Neural Network (SPNet). Compared.with other method., SPNet can significantly red.ce false positives and.false positives, while improving quality and.prod.ctivity. We also show that our method.generalizes well to other public d.tasets, where they achieve state-of-the-art results. Finally, we apply SPNet to the classification tasks of d.fect map and.d.fect pattern, and.the F1-score achieves 98.9% and.98.2%, respectively. We cond.ct experiments that probe the robustness of learned.representations and.conclud. that SPNet has significant benefits in robustness and.generalization. © 2021 IEEE.
