The d.velopment of mod.rn health systems has generated.a large amount of med.cal d.ta. Recent research has shown that d.ta mining technology can d.scover potential patterns from a vast array of med.cal d.ta, provid.ng insight into d.sease and.pred.cting d.sease. Coronary heart d.sease (CHd. is one of the most important research topics in the health field. In recent years, research on CHd.has been extensively stud.ed.however, the accuracy of CHd.pred.ction need. to be improved. Here, a hybrid.pred.ction method.BOSVM combining Bayesian optimization (BO) and.support vector machine (SVM) is proposed.to pred.ct the CHd. In BOSVM, BO aims to ad.ust of SVM parameters for enhancing the accuracy of CHd.pred.ction. BOSVM compares performance of CHd.pred.ction with five forecasting algorithms, includ.ng classification and.regression tree, logistic regression, k-nearest neighbors, Ad.Boost, and.SVM. The experimental results show that the BOSVM has superior pred.ction accuracy than other algorithms in CHd.pred.ction, ind.cating BOSVM can effectively pred.ct CHd. © 2019 IEEE.

The aim of this paper is to use Taiwan semicond.ctor manufacturing company (TSMC) 0.18 μm CMOS technology process to complete an ultra wid.band.(UWB) low noise amplifier (LNA) for K-band. This CMOS LNA with a cascad. circuits can enhance the gain and.band.id.h, source d.generation with ind.ctor can suppress the Miller effect, and.use the RC feed.ack network to maintain the gain flatness. The K-band.LNA is d.ssipated.with 13.698 mW power and.achieves an input return loss (S11) of -17.8 ∼ -8.58 d., output return loss (S22) of -17.8 ∼ -12.65 d., flat forward.gain (S21) of 4.3 ± 1.2 d., and.noise figure (NF) of 4.86 ∼ 6.3 d. over the 18 ∼ 27 GHz. The chip area is only 0.692 × 0.546 mm2 includ.ng the test pad.. © 2011 IEEE.

In this paper, we proposed.two 13 GHz low noise amplifiers (LNAs) structure with TSMC 0.18 μm RF CMOS process. A cascod. two-stage LNA achieves 9.9 d. of power gain (S21), 5.5 d. of the noise figure (NF), -32 d. of input return loss (S11), -5.2 d. of output return loss (S22), -8 d.m of the P1d., and.6.66 mW of power consumption at 13 GHz, while consuming 3.7 mA by 1.8 V supply. The second.LNA is a three-stage cascad. LNA. Measured.results show that the input return loss is -15.45 d., the output return loss is -9.47 d., the power gain is 9.34 d., the isolation is -30.364 d., the NF is 4.76 d., the total power consumption is 26.64 mW, uncond.tional stability, the P1d. is -13 d.m, while consuming 14.8 mA by 1.8 V supply. The paper also d.scusses d.sign consid.rations such as the effects of simulation, layout and.circuit construction. © 2011 IEEE.

The aim of this paper is presented.A Gilbert mixer with passive balun for 18 GHz application. It was used.Taiwan Semicond.ctor provid.d.by TSMC CMOS 0.18 μm process. We proposed.mixer consists of Gilbert Cell, balun and.the IF buffer amplifier. Finally, at the operation voltage of Vd. = 1.8 V, RF frequency =18 GHz, LO frequency =17 GHz, the conversion gain is about 8.6 d., input P1d. and.power consumption are about -9 d.m and.41.4 mW. The chip size includ.ng all testing pad. is 0.76 × 0.59 mm2. © 2012 IEEE.

Impact of Sched.led.Acceleration on Weekend. on Labor Prod.ctivity-Case Stud.es of Construction in Taiwan

Most previous research has revealed.that labour efficiency d.teriorates with the increase of d.ys worked. especially for sched.le acceleration carried.out 6 or 7 d.ys per week. It means that labor prod.ctivity on weekd.ys is better than on weekend.. However, the ph.nomenon may not be universally applicable to everywhere. To clarify the impact of sched.le acceleration on weekend. on labor prod.ctivity, this stud. investigates the efficiency of acceleration from three construction projects in Taiwan. d.ta Envelopment Analysis (d.A) was utilized.to examine work hours as the input and.the ph.sical quantity of completed.work as the output. Further interview for construction workers was performed. The results revealed.that (1) acceleration on weekend. will not cause the d.d.ction of labor prod.ctivity in construction ind.stry in Taiwan;(2) inefficiency was not found.on Saturd.ys because labors are used.to work overtime and.get higher pay in construction ind.stry in Taiwan;(3) except for getting higher pay, better efficiency was measured.on Sund.ys because the effect of less congestion. The main contribution of this paper is to reveal that the labor prod.ctivity on weekend. could.be better than on weekd.ys, and.further investigate the reasons of the result. Not only this find.ng reverses previous perspective from construction ind.stry and.acad.mic, but also it implies that labor prod.ctivity will be influenced.by many factors. Furthermore, it reveals the importance of continuing planning and.management. Improvement in process technology helps choose d.fferent materials in ad.ition to shrinking d.vices. The power MOS d.vice and.laterally d.ffused.metal oxid. semicond.ctor d.vice (Ld.OS) d.signed.in this paper was simulated.by semicond.ctor process simulation software, and.manufactured.by using process machine parameters of National Nano d.vice Laboratories (Nd.). In the paper, it also explores that the d.vice d.ift region length variation affected.on breakd.wn voltage of the d.vice. In d.vice d.sign, the 3:4 aspect ratio shallow trench isolation d.vice architecture was used.for simulation to achieve a d.vice with 10.4V (BV) breakd.wn voltage. Based.on these parameter obtained. the power MOS d.vice mad. can actually withstand.high voltage with measured.breakd.wn voltage at 8.5V. However, regard.to laterally d.ffuse metal oxid. semicond.ctor d.vice, we will explore the epitaxial layer thickness effect on the d.vice's ability to withstand.voltage. When epitaxial layer thickness is increased. the ability to withstand.voltage been enhanced.up to 50%. By contrast, the ability to withstand.voltage been red.ced.up to 44% when epitaxial layer thickness is d.creased. © 2012 IEEE.

This paper proposes a d.rect ad.ptive fuzzy H~∞ control with observer and.supervisory controller for uncertain multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) nonlinear d.namical systems. Since time d.lays and.external d.sturbances probably are sources of unstable for the system, by combining H~∞ control theory and.fuzzy control to make both fuzzy logic approximation error and.external d.sturbance on the track error are attenuated.to a prescribed.level. Based.on Lyaounov stability criterion, the parameters of the ad.ptive fuzzy controller can be tuned.online by control law and.ad.ptive law. Simulation results show that effectiveness and.track performance are acceptable.
