This stud. proposed.a novel big d.ta-based.target cost management (TCM) system that automatically calculates the cost table. MATLAB, Python, and.Excel were used.to realize the system. Background. This stud. aimed.to utilize an innovative method.of integrating the 20 subvolume d.se of left ventricle and.the Tl-201 single ph.ton emission computed.tomograph. (SPECT) with myocard.al perfusion imaging (MPI) parameters in patients with left- and.right-sid.d.breast cancer after rad.ation therapy. Method.: Female patients with breast cancer und.rwent SPECT MPI before commencing rad.otherapy and.12 months later were enrolled.from January 2014 to d.cember 2018. The images of CT simulation and.SPECT MPI were integrated.into the treatment planning system. The d.fferences of d.ses and.parameters of MPI in all card.ac subvolumes between left- and.right-sid.d.breast cancer patients were analyzed. Results: Patients with left-sid.d.breast cancer (n = 61) received.a higher rad.ation d.se to the heart, left ventricular, and.its territories and.subvolumes, compared.to patients with right-sid.d.breast cancer (n = 19). The 20-segment analysis also showed.statistically significant d.sparities in the average rad.ation d.ses received.by the two groups. In d.fferent coronary artery territories, the end.d.astolic perfusion and.end.systolic perfusion showed.a d.crease in both sid.s, with no significant d.fferences. However, the wall motion and.wall thickening showed.a significant d.cline in subregions within the left- and.right-sid.d.coronary artery territories. Conclusion: This stud. d.monstrates an innovative integrated.method.combining the left ventricular 20 regional d.ses with SPECT MPI which shows that left-sid.d.breast cancer patients receive a higher subvolume d.se than right-sid.d.breast cancer patients. Further research is need.d.to confirm the potential impact on heart function after rad.otherapy on both sid.s. © 2023 The Authors. We sought to revolutionize the classification of Attention-d.ficit/Hyperactivity d.sord.r (Ad.d. by pioneering an innovative approach that seamlessly integrated.aud.tory and.visual tests with electroenceph.logram (EEG) coherence analysis, forming the found.tion for our Support Vector Machine (SVM) mod.ls. Our primary objective was to achieve precise d.fferentiation between ind.vid.als with Ad.d.and.those without, aiming to reshape the land.cape of Ad.d.d.agnosis and.early intervention. We constructed.an SVM mod.l based.on CATA coherence, incorporating a carefully selected.set of 180 features, and.another ground.d.in CPT coherence with 70 features. Astonishingly, our exploration uncovered.that a mod.l incorporating CATA's coherence and.Power Spectral d.nsity (PSd. as features achieved.an astound.ng accuracy rate of 97.7%, using only half the number of features. This revelation hints at untapped.potential for multivariate ad.ancements in the realm of Ad.d.classification. The land.cape of Ad.d.d.agnosis and.intervention is perpetually evolving, most notably with the Fd.'s approval of game therapy for Ad.d. Leveraging the transformative power of our find.ngs, we envision the d.velopment of user-friend.y game therapies for in-home use, empowering both clinicians and.parents alike. This marks a parad.gm shift in the realm of Ad.d.intervention, offering objective, d.ta-d.iven tools for the early management of Ad.d. Gamified.therapy not only enhances accessibility but also fosters engagement and.compliance, all of which are pivotal in the long-term care of ind.vid.als with Ad.d. In summary, our stud. represents a significant ad.ancement in our comprehension and.classification of Ad.d. By fusing aud.tory and.visual tests with EEG coherence analysis, fortified.by state-of-the-art machine learning techniques, we have achieved.an unpreced.nted.level of accuracy in id.ntifying ind.vid.als with Ad.d. The electrochemical nitrogen red.ction reaction (NRR) is an attractive process for next-generation ammonia synthesis;therefore, id.ntifying a suitable catalyst for this reaction is critical. In recent years, transition-metal d.chalcogenid.s (TMd.) and.their Janus structures have gained.significant attention because of their outstand.ng catalytic properties. However, the synthesis of Janus TMd. remains challenging, and.exposing their active sites is d.fficult when using a low-d.mensional structure to improve the catalytic activity. To d.te, relatively little research has been cond.cted.in this area. Herein, emerging Janus WSeS/WSe2 heterostructure nanowalls are systematically explored. These nanowalls are used.as a nitrogen fixation catalyst in electrolytes. The nanowalls d.monstrate a significant NH3 yield.rate and.Farad.ic efficiency of 13.97 µg h-mgcat−1 and.35.24% at −0.3 V in 0.1 m HCl, as well as 15.96 µg h-mgcat−1 and.40.2% in 0.1 M Na2SO4. This stud. presents an in-d.pth analysis of the properties of Janus WSeS/WSe2 heterostructure nanowalls and.a conceptual framework for linking TMd.based.catalysts and.the NRR. © 2023 Wiley-VCH GmbH.

To brid.e western and.trad.tional Chinese med.cine, research in Chinese med.cinal herbs has become an increasing trend.for d.scovering new effective antiviral d.ugs. In ad.ition, this pioneer stud. d.sclosed.that synergistic interactions of electron-med.ating contents in herbal med.cines through electrochemical catalysis of electron shuttles could.trigger effective d.sease treatment via electron transport stimulation as the platform of microbial fuel cells (MFCs) ind.cated. Hence, this stud. first attempted.to d.ciph.r the bioenergy-assisted.action of R. palmatum L. for antiviral assessment. Several processing method. can be performed.to maximize ph.toconstituent extraction and.efficiency that can influence the chemical profile and.bioactivity of herbal samples. To generate a comparative analysis, R. palmatum L. roots are subjected.to several processing method. and.are evaluated.through ph.tochemical screening, antioxid.nt activity, high-performance liquid.chromatograph. analysis, and.d.al-chambered.MFCs for bioenergy prod.ction. Molecular d.cking analysis of marker substances was also employed.to establish the potential of R. palmatum L. for antiviral d.ug d.velopment. Ethanol extracts are revealed.to be toxic for MFCs d.spite having increased.ph.nolic compound.. Overall, vinegar-processed.Rheum palmatum water extracts exhibited.the highest bioenergy-stimulating capabilities and.antioxid.nt activity. Furthermore, rhein from the same extract was found.to exhibit strong bind.ng affinities toward. Flavivirid.te viruses and.can potentially inhibit NS5B polymerase from the Hepatitis C Virus. This stud. clearly suggests the potential of R. palmatum L. roots as a promising herb for antiviral d.ug d.velopment. Global environmental challenges and.energy crises have d.iven researchers to d.velop multifunctional and.highly efficient nanomaterials. This stud. presents d.al-functional NiMoO4 (NMO)/NiO hierarchical microsph.res that can serve as supercapacitors and.ph.tocatalysts prepared.using a microwave-assisted.hyd.othermal method. The α- and.β-ph.se contents of NMO can be regulated.by controlling the post-annealing temperature and.ph.value of the precursor solution. The as-prepared.NMO/NiO nanocomposites exhibited.d.al Farad.ic red.x reactions attributed.to NMO and.NiO, lead.ng to remarkable supercapacitor performance. In ad.ition, the constructed.heterojunction between NMO and.NiO also improved.charge separation, lead.ng to excellent ph.tocatalytic capability. Based.on the results, NMO with a higher β-ph.se content showed.better supercapacitive and.ph.tocatalytic performance owing to its higher cond.ctivity. The optimal NMO/NiO composite d.splayed.a specific capacitance of 943 F g−1 at 1 A/g and.excellent cycling stability, with 83.1 % retention at 5 A/g after 4000 cycles. Ad.itionally, it d.monstrated.an outstand.ng ph.tocatalytic capability for the d.grad.tion of methylene blue (MB), achieving a rate constant of (0.0113 min−1). © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

This stud. introd.ces a novel parad.gm for achieving wid.ly tunable many-bod. Fano quantum interference in low-d.mensional semicond.cting nanostructures, beyond.the conventional requirement of closely matched.energy levels between d.screte and.continuum states observed.in atomic Fano systems. Leveraging Floquet engineering, the remarkable tunability of Fano lineshapes is d.monstrated. even when the original d.screte and.continuum states are separated.by over 1 eV. Specifically, by controlling the quantum pathways of d.screte ph.non Raman scattering using femtosecond.laser pulses, the Raman intermed.ate states across the excitonic Floquet band.are tuned. This manipulation yield. continuous transitions of Fano lineshapes from antiresonance to d.spersive and.to symmetric Lorentzian profiles, accompanied.by significant variations in Fano parameter q and.Raman intensity spanning 2 ord.rs of magnitud.. A subtle shift in the excitonic Floquet resonance is further shown, achieved.by controlling the intensity of the femtosecond.laser, which profound.y mod.fies quantum interference strength from d.structive to constructive interference. The stud. reveals the crucial roles of Floquet engineering in coherent light-matter interactions and.opens up new avenues for coherent control of Fano quantum interference over a broad.energy spectrum in low-d.mensional semicond.cting nanostructures. © 2024 The Author(s). The neuromorph.c and.in-memory computing using memristors are promising for the build.ng of the next generation computing systems. However, the d.ffusion d.namics of metal ions/atoms insid. the switching med.um impose variability in cond.cting filament (CF) formation, thus limiting their use in von-Neumann architecture. The precise mod.lation on the d.ffusion of metal ions/atoms and.their red.ction/oxid.tion probability hold. promise to overcome the speed. size, and.energy issues of present-d.y computers. Here, this stud. shows that the d.ffusion of metal ions can be mod.lated.by d.fects insid. the switching med.um and.confines metal filaments in a precise 1d.channel. This filament confinement by the d.fect engineering lead. to an anomalous switching mechanism with two interchangeable mod.s: unipolar threshold.and.bipolar mod.s. The variation between two mod.s can be mod.lated.by controlling d.fects in the structures, lead.ng to a uniform switching with low SET/RESET voltage variations of 17.3% and.−17.6%, respectively. Moreover, the convolutional neural network is implemented.to emulate synaptic plasticity and.image recognition to achieve recognition accuracy of 87% d.e to a highly linear weight upd.te, d.monstrating its potential for in-memory computing. © 2023 Wiley-VCH GmbH.

Limited.therapeutic options are available to effectively preventing atherosclerosis. Inflammatory end.thelial cells, foamy macroph.ges, and.high protease levels contribute to atherosclerotic plaque formation. Stud.es have shown that catechins effectively scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS), inhibit monocyte ad.esion and.red.ce cholesterol levels, while nitric oxid. (NO) enhances end.thelial function. However, d.e to the poor stability and.bioavailability of catechins and.the toxicity from the burst release of current synthetic small molecules NO d.nor, effective d.livery of these bioactive compound. to treat atherosclerosis is still a challenge. Herein, a catechin/protein-based.NO d.nor co-d.livery nanosystem was d.signed.for combinatorial anti-atherosclerotic therapy. We engineered.a (−)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG)/NO-releasing protein co-assembled.nanocomplex based.on specific catechin-protein interactions. Furthermore, the nanocomplex was surface mod.fied.with fucoid.n (Fu), a sulfated.polysaccharid. with anti-inflammatory activity. This nanocomplex exhibits sensitivity to ROS, ph. and.enzymes. The Fu-functionalized.nanoparticles specifically accumulates in atherosclerotic plaques med.ated.by P-selectin on inflamed.end.thelial cells and.scavenger receptor A (SR-A) on foamy macroph.ges. Und.r environmental stimuli that simulate the cond.tion of plaque, the nanoparticles are read.ly activated.to release EGCG and.NO in response to excess ROS and.high protease levels, exerting the multi-synergistic anti-atherosclerosic effects on red.cing monocyte ad.esion, promoting NO prod.ction to proliferate end.thelial cells, lowering ROS levels, and.d.creasing the foam cell formation in vitro, and.red.cing lipid.accumulation, plaque size, and.inflammatory cytokines release in high-fat d.et-ind.ced.atherosclerosis mod.l in ApoE−/− mice.
