Kevlar fiber are artifical fibers that have been globally commonly used due to their attributes of a high modulus, a low elongation, an impact resistance, a chemical resistance, and thermostability. Therefore, this study proposes nonwoven geotextiles by corporating with recycled Kevlar unidirectoinal selvage with a low production cost, crimped polyester(PET) fibers, and low-melting-point PET(LPET) fibers. The content of LPET fiber is specified as 20 wt%, while the content of Kevlar fiber varies as 0 wt%, 5 wt%, 10 wt%, 15 wt%, and 20 wt%. The optimal tear strength of 195 N occurs with a content of Kevlar fiber being 20 wt%.

The epoxy composites with high thermal conductivity for metal-core printed circuit board(MCPCB) can be prepared by varnish coating and a hot press method. Alumina filler of plate-like shape was used as primary micro-filler, while plate-like alumina filler, h-BN, a-BN and s-BN filler were used for blending into the plate-like alumina filler as the secondary filler. Results showed that the secondary fillers a-BN and s-BN loaded epoxy composites have higher thermal conductivity than alumina filler single-loaded composites. Also, BN filler has high thermal conductivity, but h-BN filled epoxy composite has lower thermal conductivity than alumina filled epoxy composite. The decrease of voids in epoxy composite are very important, and the filler shape and surface modification is also necessary to achieve high thermal conductivity in epoxy composite for MCPCB

To assess the peripheral refractive changes that occur when eye growth decelerates in *** We measured peripheral refraction and on-axis vitreous chamber depth on a total of 53 marmosets;36 treated monocularly for 12 weeks 9 hrs/day(26 with-5 d contact lenses,10 with+5 d)and 17 untreated *** the 26 marmosets treated with-5 d,10 wore contact lenses 9 hrs/day without interruptions and were mea-sured at the end of 10 weeks of treatment(T10)and after 4 weeks of recovery(R14).Eight had both contact lenses removed for 30 mins twice/day(mid-morning and mid-afternoon)during the first four weeks of treatment(early interruption group)and eight had the lenses removed during the second four weeks of treatment(late interruption group).The two interruption groups were measured after 4,8 and 12 weeks of treatment only(T4,T8,T12).

While major mergers have long been proposed as a driver of both AGN activity and the MBH − σbulge relation, studies of moderate to high redshift Seyfert-luminosity AGN hosts have found little evidence for enhanced rates of interactions. However, both theory and observation suggest that while these AGN may be fueled by stochastic accretion and secular processes, high-luminosity, high-redshift, and heavily obscured AGN are the AGN most likely to be merger-driven. To better sample this population of AGN, we turn to infrared selection in the CANdELS/COSMOS field. Compared to their lower-luminosity and less obscured X-ray–only counterparts, IR-only AGN (luminous, heavily obscured AGN) are more likely to be classified as either irregular (Formula presented) or asymmetric (Formula presented) and are less likely to have a spheroidal component (Formula presented). Furthermore, IR-only AGN are also significantly more likely than X-ray–only AGN (75+−813% vs. 31+−66%) to be classified either as interacting or merging in a way that significantly disturbs the host galaxy or disturbed though not clearly interacting or merging, which potentially represents the late stages of a major merger. This suggests that while major mergers may not contribute significantly to the fueling of Seyfert luminosity AGN, interactions appear to play a more dominant role in the triggering and fueling of high-luminosity heavily obscured AGN. To evaluate associations by EGFR mutation status for lung adenocarcinoma risk among never-smoking Asian women, we conducted a meta-analysis of 11 loci previously identified in genome-wide association studies (GWAS). Genotyping in an additional 10,780 never-smoking cases and 10,938 never-smoking controls from Asia confirmed associations with eight known single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Two new signals were observed at genome-wide significance (P < 5 × 10-8), namely, rs7216064 (17q24.3, BPTF), for overall lung adenocarcinoma risk, and rs3817963 (6p21.3, BTNL2) which is specific to cases with EGFR mutations. In further sub-analyses by EGFR status, rs9387478 (ROS1/dCBLd1) and rs2179920 (HLA-dPB1) showed stronger estimated associations in EGFR-positive compared to EGFR-negative cases. Comparison of the overall associations with published results in Western populations revealed that the majority of these findings were distinct, underscoring the importance of distinct contributing factors for smoking and non-smoking lung cancer. Our results extend the catalogue of regions associated with lung adenocarcinoma in non-smoking Asian women and highlight the importance of how the germline could inform risk for specific tumour mutation patterns, which could have important translational implications.

In this study, we propose a novel intelligent neural guidance law by applying several neural network optimization algorithms alternatively in each step, such as Gradient descent (Gd), Levenberg-Marquardt (LM) and Scaled Conjugate Gradient (SCG) methods. The missile turning rate time constant, radome slope error, initial heading error and the noise effects in the guidance loop (such as target maneuver, glint, and fading noises) are taken into consideration by using the adjoint simulation technique. Comparisons with the traditional proportional navigation (PN) method and those applying only one optimization algorithm for the cases of lower and higher altitudes are also made; note that the miss distances obtained by the proposed neural guidance law are always lower.
