The publication in the introduction provides a overview of sources devoted to the analysis of the configuration and technology of the multiservice network. The purpose of the study is to analyze and study, simulate of model a multiservice network on the Packet Tracer program package, which is used for transmitting information based on the OSPF routing protocol to determine the value of information for a single time when the size of the ICMP packet increases. On the developed model, which consists of the structure of Internet technologies based on IP protocol and MPLS technology, the value of the transmitted packet is changed and the value of delay in the developed model is determined. Then, after analyzing the obtained values, as a result of the experiments, the value of information for a single time is determined when the value size of ICMP packet increases.

His books include Nanovision: Engineering the Future (2008) Mondo Nano: Fun and Games in the World of Digital Matter (2015) and Respawn: Gamers Hackers and Technogenic Life (2015). Katherine Buse is an assistant professor of Media Studies at the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on digital media the environmental humanities and the cultures of science and technology. Her current book project Speculative Planetology: Science Culture and the Building of Model Worlds tells the story of how the sciences and the arts co-constructed a toolkit for thinking about planets as whole systems. Ranjodh Singh Dhaliwal is Ruth and Paul Idzik College Chair in Digital Scholarship and an assistant professor of English and Film Television and Theatre at the University of Notre Dame. His work spans media theory science and technology studies and literary criticism. His current book project Rendering: A Political Diagrammatology of Computation shows how our cultural politico-economic and epistemic formulations crystallize into hardware and software architectures. Melissa Wills is a visiting scholar in the Department of Science and Technology Studies at the University of California Davis. She completed her PhD in English at UC Davis in 2021. Her research addresses the relationship between the life sciences and science fiction. Her current book project Ruptures: Life without Germs in the Microbiome Era examines microbiology's debt to the imagination of germ-free worlds. Raida Aldosari is the lead artist on the Foldit: First Contact development team. She received her BS in Nutrition Science from the University of California Davis in 2018. She has experience as a freelance graphic designer and as a project manager for nutrition training and courses.

This article explores the value of science fiction narratives in games for citizen science. Focusing on the protein-folding game Foldit, it describes the process of modifying and redesigning the game to feature a framing narrative and other alterations to the main tutorial campaign. The campaign narrative, Foldit: First Contact, situates the practices of citizen science in an expanded context of meanings and ethical implications, promoting critical self-reflection on the relations of science and civic values. A study of player responses to Foldit: First Contact suggests the significance of science fiction and critical game design for attuning citizen scientists to the collective responsibilities of experimentation and innovation, drawing attention to the intersecting social, technical, and environmental domains in which gamers may contribute to scientific research.

This publication is devoted to the research and development of an IP network model is based on IP PBX Asterisk in the Opnet Modeler simulation package. The IP PBX Asterisk software solution is used for voice telephony. The hardware part of the researching network is based on Cisco network equipment. A SIP server configured to transmit multimedia traffic is selected as the server for transmitting information for IP PBX Asterisk. A brief review of sources [1]-[4] dedicated to the use of IP PBX Asterisk on the Opnet Modeler software package is conducted. The problems related to the use of separate simulations for different types of traffic and comparing their results with each other to determine the characteristics of network delays, bandwidth between network nodes, and others are relevant (actual). Simulation in such a network is based on the two scenarios. The simulation results in the above scenarios showed that the speed of packets passing through the entire network and memory usage in each of the scenarios remains a constant value. Minimal delays are observed when transmitting Unicast traffic during videoconferencing and even during VoIP traffic.

Background: Decades of steady improvements in life expectancy in Europe slowed down from around 2011, well before the COVID-19 pandemic, for reasons which remain disputed. We aimed to assess how changes in risk factors and cause-specific death rates in different European countries related to changes in life expectancy in those countries before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: We used data and methods from the Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study 2021 to compare changes in life expectancy at birth, causes of death, and population exposure to risk factors in 16 European Economic Area countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden) and the four UK nations (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales) for three time periods: 1990–2011, 2011–19, and 2019–21. Changes in life expectancy and causes of death were estimated with an established life expectancy cause-specific decomposition method, and compared with summary exposure values of risk factors for the major causes of death influencing life expectancy. Findings: All countries showed mean annual improvements in life expectancy in both 1990–2011 (overall mean 0·23 years [95% uncertainty interval [UI] 0·23 to 0·24]) and 2011–19 (overall mean 0·15 years [0·13 to 0·16]). The rate of improvement was lower in 2011–19 than in 1990–2011 in all countries except for Norway, where the mean annual increase in life expectancy rose from 0·21 years (95% UI 0·20 to 0·22) in 1990–2011 to 0·23 years (0·21 to 0·26) in 2011–19 (difference of 0·03 years). In other countries, the difference in mean annual improvement between these periods ranged from –0·01 years in Iceland (0·19 years [95% UI 0·16 to 0·21] vs 0·18 years [0·09 to 0·26]), to –0·18 years in England (0·25 years [0·24 to 0·25] vs 0·07 years [0·06 to 0·08]). In this paper, an improved version of online continuation method controller for PWM systems is presented. The online continuation method controller solves the PWM-type deadbeat control problem numerically. By using this algorithm, iterations for solving the set of nonlinear equations always start from a good solution candidate and therefore it can be used online. The original continuation method is modified so that it is applicable to real systems. The validity of the proposed control method is demonstrated by a laboratory-scale flexible arm manipulator.

Yakubovich was born in Novosibirsk Russia in 1926. he entered Moscow University in 1946 and graduated in 1949. he received the Candidate of Science degree (Ph.D.) in 1953 and the Doctor of Science degree in 1959 from Leningrad University. In 1959 he joined the Leningrad University and he has remained since then. He is the author of more than 270 papers and a coauthor of seven books in different areas of applied mathematics and control theory. he has worked in parametric resonance theory in the theory of stability of nonlinear systems and in optimization theory. Dr. Yakubovich has served on many scientific committees and editorial boards. he is a member of several scientific socienties in Russia. He was awarded the Norbert Wiener Prize (1991) a prize from the international editorial company “Nauka” for best publication in its journals (1995) and the IEEE Control Systems Award (1996). Since 1991 he has been a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Dept. of Control Engineering Tokyo Institute of Technology Japan. Shigeki Nakaura received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Control Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1995 and 1997 respectively. In many mechanical systems, the tracking control is one of the most important issues. Therefore for the unstable system subject to actuator saturation, the domain of the initial states corresponding to an arbitrary reference signal, within which tracking condition can be achieved, is interesting to be considered. In this paper, an approximate tracking domain is derived analytically. First in Theorem 1, for simple case, it is constructed by using the partial Lyapunov function and the absolute stability theory. In the following Theorems 2 and 3, a new idea is used to obtain larger domains. Finally in the last section, a simple numerical example is given.

In this article a multimedia computer-assisted learning (MCAL) system is presented. The major objective of this work was to investigate the potential of using such systems as tools for transferring instructional course information through various types of computer media as opposed to the classic CAL systems. The philosophy and techniques employed to design the system are investigated. Usage of the implemented system and its merits have been illustrated through its application to teach engineering students and technicians the theory and concepts of marine radar. System design, implementation, test, and revision phases are presented and discussed.
