In this paper, we present Bengali word embeddings and it's application in the classification of news documents. Word embeddings are multi-dimensional vectors that can be created by exploiting the linguistic context of the words in large corpus. To generate the embeddings, we collected Bengali news document of last five years from the major daily newspapers. Word embeddings are generated using the Neural Network based language processing model Word2vec. We use the vector representations of the Bengali words to cluster them using K-means algorithm. We show that those clusters can be used directly to perform various natural language processing task by solving the problem of Bengali news document classification. We use the Support Vector Machine (SVM) for the classification task and achieve ~91% Fl-score. The accuracy of our method demonstrates that our word embeddings could capture the semantics of word from the respective context correctly.

In this paper, we propose to transform the traditional cornea transplantation methods into an electronic exchange between the cornea donors and recipients in the cornea transplantation elective surgery. Preferential evaluations of recipient and donors (individuals / eye-bank) satisfactions are mathematically modeled, then the preference matrix is used as input for Gale Shapely matching algorithm. The results of m*n match happens to be a very transparent approach in a bilateral e-cornea transplantation environment. These matched results are compared with the results obtained using Generalized Assignment problem which produces NP-hard approximated matches. It is found that the proposed method produces stable matching, which is preference based and strategy proof and it also reduces the need for number of iterations for matching.

The paper deals with the issue of measuring the moisture content of brick walls in buildings of high historical value. It includes a classification of known methods used to measure the moisture content and their valorisation with regards to the legitimacy of using them in historical buildings. Moreover, the most important considerations for conducting such measurements are also described, which include the choice of an appropriate method for a specific situation, the determination of a correlative or hypothetical dependency for equipment used in tests and also the method of distributing measurement points.

This paper describes a smart grid economic dispatch (SGED) approach without considering the network equality security constraints. The economic dispatch (ED) problem is one of the fundamental problems in the power system. The objective of ED is to reduce the total power generation cost. The SGED is performed for a test system that comprises three generators and one battery storage device (a 5 MW hydrogen storage unit), considering the consumer power demand. The economic dispatch will be performed for the whole day. The economic dispatch is performed according to the ascending power production cost.

This paper describes the optimal location of a 2.3 MW distributed generator (DG) in a test system (IEEE 14 bus test system) based on the power losses. The distributed generator (DG) optimal location will determined considering the power losses at each bus where the DG is connected. The power losses at each bus will be determined with the Neplan software, using the Newton-Raphson extended method.

The results of research published in many publications indicate that the scale of the problem of accidents at work in the construction industry is significant. Fatal and serious accidents, which in the construction industry are often a result of a fall from a height and associated with working on scaffolding, have a particularly strong impact on society. Systematic controls carried out on Polish construction sites indicate irregularities in the area of ensuring safety on scaffolding. As a result of conducted own studies, dozens of accidents caused by falls from scaffolding were selected from the total number of accidents at work in the construction industry and then analysed. The aim of the research was to identify the causes of these accidents and their consequences. The results of studies conducted in this area will be the content of the article.

Applying vital decisions for new airline routes and aircraft utilization are important factors for airline decision-making. For data driven analysis key points such as airliners route distance, availability on seats/freight/mails and fuel are considered. The airline route profitability optimization model is proposed based on performing Big data analytics over large scale aviation data under multiple heuristic methods, based on which practical problemsareanalysed. Analysis should be done based on key criteria, identified by operational needs and load revenues from operational systems e.g. passenger, cargo, freights, airport, country, aircraft, seat class etc., The result shows that the analysis is simple and convenient with concrete decision.

In this paper, we had analyzed a large scale Diabetic data sets for several patients to find the length of time taken for treatment for each class of Diabetes and the risk of re-admission of diabetic patients performing Bigdata analytics, the type of diabetes and its outcome which acted as a high risk sample of patient data sets. We have collected and integrated different sources of diabetic information for several patients, from primary and secondary treatment information to administrative information, to analyze novel view of patient care processes such as type of treatments and every patient behaviors on which results multifaceted nature of chronic care that we take into our account to predict the survival factors and length of stay. Nowadays by using electronic medical equipments with high quality and high degree calibrations, we are able to gather large amounts of real-time diabetic data sets. The requires the usage of distributed platforms for making BigData analysis that results on making decisions based on available data and its trends. This type of Bigdata analysis allows geographical and environmental information of patients’ enables the capability of interpreting the ethnicity of data gathered and extract new analysis to identify survival options and treatment timelines (LOS) from them.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) established the national Caregiver Support Line (CSL) in February 2011. The CSL is operated by licensed master’s degree social workers who provide caregivers of veterans with information about caregiver benefits and services, counseling, and referrals to a caregiver support coordinator at the nearest VA medical center. The authors compared differences in veteran health care utilization patterns in the six months before and after a caregiver call to the CSL, hypothesizing that veterans with caregivers using the CSL had improved access to health care services and improved access increased utilization of health care. A pre- and posttest design was used. CSL calls that resulted in referrals to VA health care services or to local VA caregiver support coordinators were included in the sample. Data were extracted from the CSL database and matched to veteran care utilization data using veteran medical record data. Veteran inpatient stays for general medicine, hospice, respite, and long-term care significantly increased after the CSL call, but other inpatient stays (surgery, neurology) did not. Outpatient services for home health, respite, and mental health all significantly increased. Caregivers’ use of the national CSL may help facilitate access for veterans to needed care services.
