We report a systematic method to perform calculations of spectral line broadening parameters in plasmas. This method is applied to calculate Stark-broadening line profiles of Pα(n = 4 → n = 3) transitions under certain specific plasma conditions, by treating this case as an example. In the framework of the fully relativistic Dirac R- matrix theory, we calculate the electron-impact broadening operators, which are assumed to be diagonal matrix to simplify the situation. The electric microfield distribution function is calculated by retaining Hooper's formalism. The dipole matrix elements and atomic structure parameters used in these calculations have been obtained from atomic structure GRASP code. Based on this required data, we calculate the Stark-broadened line profiles of the Paschen spectral lines in He Ⅱ ions in a systematic manner. Overall, there is a very good agreement between our calculated Stark-broadened line profiles and other line Our reported spectral line-broadening data have real also play a fundamental role in plasma modeling. broadening numerical simulation codes (Sire U and MELS). applications in plasma spectroscopy, plasma diagnosis and

In this paper, the minimal dissipation local discontinuous Galerkin method is studied to solve the parabolic interface problems in two-dimensional convex polygonal domains. The interface may be arbitrary smooth curves. The proposed method is proved to be L2 stable and the order of error estimates in the given norm is O(h|logh|^1/2). Numerical experiments show the efficiency and accuracy of the method.

Recent angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) experiments on the kagome metal CsV3Sb5 revealed distinct multimodal dispersion kinks and nodeless superconducting gaps across multiple electron bands. The prominent photoemission kinks suggest a definitive coupling between electrons and certain collective modes, yet the precise nature of this interaction and its connection to superconductivity remain to be established. Here, employing the state-of-the-art ab initio many-body perturbation theory computation, we present direct evidence that electron-phonon (e-ph) coupling induces the multimodal photoemission kinks in CsV3Sb5, and profoundly, drives the nodeless s-wave superconductivity, showcasing the diverse manifestations of the e-ph coupling. Our calculations well capture the experimentally measured kinks and their fine structures, and reveal that vibrations from different atomic species dictate the multimodal behavior. Results from anisotropic GW-Eliashberg equations predict a phonon-mediated superconductivity with nodeless s-wave gaps, in excellent agreement with various ARPES and scanning tunneling spectroscopy measurements. Despite the universal origin of the e-ph coupling, the contributions of several characteristic phonon vibrations vary in different phenomena, highlighting a versatile role of e-ph coupling in shaping the low-energy excitations of kagome metals.

This paper studies the constraint conditions for coherence destruction in tunneling by using perturbation theory and numerical simulation for an AC-field with bias and Coulomb interaction between electrons in a quantum dot molecule. Such conditions can be described by using the roots of a Bessel function Jn(x), where n is determined by both the bias and the Coulomb interactions, and x is the ratio of the amplitude to the frequency of the AC-field. Under such conditions, a coherent suppression of tunneling occurs between localized electronic states, which results from the dynamical localization phenomenon. All the conditions are verified with numerical simulations.

Spiral waves and spatiotemporal chaos are sometimes harmful and should be controlled. In this paper spiral waves and spatiotemporal chaos are successfully eliminated by the pulse with a very specific spatiotemporal configuration. The excited position D of spiral waves or spatiotemporal chaos is first recorded at an arbitrary time (to). When the system at the domain D enters a recovering state, the external pulse is injected into the domain. If the intensity and the working time of the pulse are appropriate, spiral waves and spatiotemporal chaos can finally be eliminated because counter-directional waves can be generated by the pulse. There are two advantages in the method. One is that the tip can be quickly eliminated together with the body of spiral wave, and the other is that the injected pulse may be weak and the duration can be very short so that the original system is nearly not affected, which is important for practical applications.

The Chebyshev pseudospectral approximation of the homogeneous initial boundary value problem for a class of multi-dimensional generalized symmetric regularized long wave (SRLW) equations is considered. The fully discrete Chebyshev pseudospectral scheme is constructed. The convergence of the approximation solution and the optimum error of approximation solution are obtained.
