Measurement of peripheral nerve magnetostimulation thresholds of a head solenoid coil between 200 Hz and 88.1 kHz

Objective: Magnetic fields switching at kilohertz frequencies induce electric fields in the body, which can cause peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS). Although magnetostimulation has been extensively studied below 10 kHz, the behavior of PNS at higher frequencies remains poorly understood. This study aims to investigate PNS thresholds at frequencies up to 88.1 kHz and to explore deviations from the widely accepted hyperbolic strength-duration curve (SDC). Methods and procedures: PNS thresholds were measured in the head of 8 human volunteers using a solenoidal coil at 16 distinct frequencies, ranging from 200 Hz to 88.1 kHz. A hyperbolic SDC was used as a reference to compare the frequency-dependent behavior of PNS thresholds. Results: Contrary to the predictions of the hyperbolic SDC, PNS thresholds did not decrease monotonically with frequency. Instead, thresholds reached a minimum near 25 kHz, after which they increased by an average of 39% from 25 kHz to 88.1 kHz across subjects. This pattern indicates a significant deviation from previously observed behavior at lower frequencies. Conclusion: Our results suggest that PNS thresholds exhibit a non-monotonic frequency dependence at higher frequencies, diverging from the traditional hyperbolic SDC. These findings offer critical data for refining neurodynamic models and provide insights for setting PNS safety limits in applications like MRI gradient coils and magnetic particle imaging (MPI). Further investigation is needed to understand the biological mechanisms driving these deviations beyond 25 kHz. Clinical impact: These findings call for further basic research into biological mechanisms underlying high frequency PNS threshold trends, and supports refinement of safety guidelines for MRI and MPI systems for clinical implementation. © 2013 IEEE.

The Google Sheets is a cloud technology part of Google Drive. Google Drive is a cloud operating system owned by Google's search engine. National Elementary School (SDN) to make a report book or Basic Education Databook (Dapodik) still use Microsoft Excel, which has the effect of delaying the delivery of report results to parents. This happens because to fill in the DAPODIK score must be filled by teachers who teach subjects in class. This study aims to provide knowledge to teachers in collaborating to fill DAPODIK and measure how reliable the delivery of material received by each teacher. Using the method of reliability Kuder Richardson KR-20 and KR-21 produces a value before the training on reliability values KR-20 = 0.6328, and KR-21 = 0.6000, after the training, the reliability values KR-20 = 0.5788 and KR-21 = 0.6231. From these results, it is known that the value after training for KR-21 has increased and according to the conventional correlation coefficient. In future research can be re-developed by making application system recommendations in determining teachers in schools to become instructors in accordance with the capabilities possessed based on the reliability testing results of the KR-20 and KR-21. © 2019 IEEE.

The development of technology and the internet is one of the critical factors that must be considered by companies especially those engaged in e-commerce. The web-based application is one of the tools used by e-commerce in making it easier for users to conduct transactions and data processing. The application that developed must be calculated carefully so the effectiveness and efficiency can be appropriately maintained. In this research, the calculation of the size of the software, effort, time, staff, and the total cost needed to work on an application was calculated using the Function Point Analysis (FPA) and Constructive Cost Model II (CoCoMo II) methods. The application that has been analyzed and estimated is Merchant Application Portal (MAP) which is an application designed by one of the companies in Indonesia. The estimation results obtained, scilicet the size of software amounted to 10,02972 KLOC, effort amounted to 48.521 Person Month, time development of 13 months, staff needed as many as four staff, and the estimated cost amounted to IDR 13,828,852.79 or $ 971.54. In addition, this calculation can be used by other companies to find out the resources needed in making a software to be more effective and efficient. © 2021 ACM.

Example based machine translation is one of the approaches in machine translation. The concept uses the corpus of two languages and then translates the input text to desired target text by proper matching. The different languages have different language structure of the subject-object-verb (SOV) alignment. The matching is then arranged to give proper meaning in target text language and to form proper structure. This paper, describes the Example Based Machine Translation using Natural Language Processing demo. The proposed EBMT framework can be used for automatic translation of text by reusing the examples of previous translations through the use of Fuzzy which is proposed work. This framework comprises of three phases, matching, alignment and recombination. Image descriptions are crucial in assisting individuals without eyesight by providing verbal representations of visual content. While manual and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated descriptions exist, automatic description generators have not fully met the needs of visually impaired People. In this study, we have examined the problems related to image descriptions reported in existing literature using the Snowballing technique. Through this method, we have identified thirteen issues, including ethical concerns surrounding physical appearance, gender and identity, race, and disability. Furthermore, we have identified five reasons why sighted Individuals often fail to provide descriptions for visual content, highlighting the necessity for accessibility campaigns that raise awareness about the social significance of descriptive sentences. We conducted interviews with eight low-vision volunteers, in which we analyzed the characteristics of descriptive sentences for 25 indoor images and gathered participants' expectations regarding image descriptions. As a result, we propose a set of Good Practices for writing descriptive sentences aimed to assist automatic tools and sighted Individuals in generating more satisfactory and high-quality image descriptions. We hope our results will emphasize the societal importance of imagery descriptions and inspire the community to pursue further interdisciplinary research to address the issues identified in our study. © 2023 ACM.

This study aims to implement a machine learning technique in identifying the irregularities of customer behavior on the use of prepaid electricity pulses. The methods used are Linear Discriminant Analysis and Logistic Regression. The performance of the classification system will be evaluated using the 10-fold cross-validation technique. Validation results are measured using accuracy, precision and recall values. In this research shows that the use of machine learning technique has a good performance in classification of electrical consumption behavior. Experimental results with the different amount of data testing indicate that Logistic Regression method has high accuracy, precision, and recall value when compared with Linear Discriminant Analysis that is 100%. This is due to Logistic Regression method can predict irregularities accurately because the addition of the amount of data does not affect the performance of the method. © 2017 IEEE.

Integrated watershed management has been regulated in the Regional Regulation Number 22 of 2014 Lampung Province. Watershed is a land area that is a unity of ecosystem with river and its tributaries that function to accommodate, store and drain water coming from rainfall to lake or sea naturally. The Lampung Province watershed is a watershed across several districts / cities in Lampung Province covering Sekampung watershed, Tulang Bawang basin, Seputih watershed, watershed watershed, Abar Kambas watershed and Mesuji basin. The largest part of the upstream of this river is located in West Lampung District, part of North Lampung, and part Tanggamus. The existence of integrated watershed management aims to improve and prevent damage to the watershed and realize the welfare of the community. Lampung Watershed Forum ensures that the watershed condition in Lampung has been severely damaged by the destruction of forests and dryland farming without soil conservation impacting on the declining water quality so that it will be dangerous if consumed by the people around the watershed. This condition leads to various diseases related to reproduction. This reproductive disease can affect children as well as adults. This study aims to determine the impact of the implementation of regulation number 22 of 2014 relating to reproductive health of people along the Lampung River Basin. The research method is descriptive observational research. The results obtained show that the implementation of Regulation No. 22 of 2014 has not touched the reproductive health of the community. Nevertheless, the number of reproductive diseases in the community along the Way Sekampung catchment in 2016 is smaller than in 2012. Needed assessment and impact handling for community welfare to materialize. The results of this study are expected to be a contribution of thought in the integrated watershed management of Lampung Province. © 2019 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Ciujung River is one of the important rivers in Banten Province and it is the main water supply for agriculture, industry and bathing. Due to extensive agricultural, urban, and industrial activities in the watershed of this ecosystem, some studies have assumed that the river is contaminated. But, there is no research related Ciujung River water quality with biological indicator and maping pollutant sources. The aim of this study is analyze: water quality of Ciujung River and influence of activities in Ciujung watershed to the water pollution in Ciujung River. Calculation Pollution Index (PI) and calculation chlorophyll-A abundance are adopted for water quality assessments. Water quality were analysed based on secondary data from BBWS C3 in January-May 2020. Chlorophyll-A abundance measured by Sentinel-2 imagery, water quality assessments result of each section presented in spasial data with GIS. Water quality map overlayed with land use map to indentify the influence of activities in Ciujung watershed to water pollution in Ciujung River. PI calculation results show that Ciujung River is moderately polluted, PI calculation result of each section is >5. Meanwhile, the abundance of chlorophyll-A can describe level of pollution in Ciujung River from biological parameters, the highest chlorophyll-A abundance is in Pamarayan (38,6) and the lowest chlorophyll-A abundance is in Jembatan Keong (18,6). © The Authors, published by EDP sciences, 2020.

Quantum computing is at the forefront of technological advancement and has the potential to revolutionize various fields, including quantum chemistry. Choosing an appropriate quantum programming language becomes critical as quantum education and research increase. In this paper, we comprehensively compare two leading quantum programming languages, Qiskit and PennyLane, focusing on their suitability for teaching and research. We delve into their basic and advanced usage, examine their learning curves, and evaluate their capabilities in quantum computing experiments. We also demonstrate using a quantum programming language to build a half adder and a machine learning model. Our study reveals that each language has distinct advantages. While PennyLane excels in research applications due to its flexibility to adjust parameters in detail and access multiple sources of real quantum devices, Qiskit stands out in education because of its web-based graphical user interface and smaller code size. 70% of Bontang area is ocean. There are two large factories in Bontang, they are PT. Pupuk Kaltim (PKT) in Bontang Utara District and PT. Badak NGL in South Bontang District. Pupuk Kaltim's CSR implementation, since the operation of the factory from 1979 to 2015, is still charitable. Thus, the implementation of CSR does not have much impact on both the community and the company. Local people often protest the company by using environmental issues, namely the large number of dead fish caused by environmental pollution from PKT factory's liquid waste. They sometimes close the ship's entry and exit lanes from the PKT's factory port. In 2016, PKT implemented the Creating Shared Value (CSV) program at Tanjung Limau. This program is a program for sharing the results of PKT CSR with local fishermen through lobster and grouper cultivation on Floating Net Cage (FNC). The aim is to identify the economic, social and natural impacts on Tanjung Limau fishermen groups who are members of the PKT CSV program. Data was collected from BMTFEC diaries from 2016 to 2018 through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), interviews, and questionnaires. The results show that the income of members of the fishing group ranges from IDR 2,000,000 per month, is more environmentally friendly, members of the fishing group increase, and they get access to new markets. © The Authors, published by EDP sciences, 2019.
