With the high demand for oil palm production, implementations of Machine Learning (ML) technologies to provide accurate predictions and recommendations to assist oil palm plantation management tasks have become beneficial, such as in predicting annual oil palm. However, different geographical and meteorological conditions may result in different scales of influence for each variable. In this research, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) and Support Vector Regression (SVR) were used in predicting oil palm yield based on data collected in Riau, Indonesia. Pearson’s correlation coefficient was also calculated in selecting the input features for the models, whereas normalization and standardization were used in scaling the data. By setting the minimum absolute correlation threshold to 0.1 and using standardization, both models managed to obtain more than 0.81 R2, with SVR obtaining the overall best performance with 0.8709 R2, 1.372 MAE, and 1.8025 RMSE without hyperparameter fine-tuning. It was also discovered that the oil palm yield in the previous year is the variable with the most influence in estimating oil palm yield in the current year, followed by the number of plants and soil types. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2023.

Lung disease, especially Tuberculosis (TBC), placed the highest death rate in Indonesia. Tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia is ranked second after India. Therefore, it is important to reduce or early detection of the lung disease, to prevent this disease and speed up handling. The system can recognize the disease lung identification, and the system applied as standalone system. In this work, the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) approach for identifying diseases lung identification is proposed. The Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient (MFCC) applied to process the stethoscope sounds which will used as input to the CNN. The performance of the proposed system has been investigated and resulted. The accuracy of 99% and 98%, for training and testing accuracy respectively. Furthermore, the system accurately detects lung diseases identification. © 2024 IEEE.

Our study discusses the application of the perspective grid concept as the basis for the process of transforming the 2D coordinates of the image into 3D coordinates in real space for estimating the location of objects in a single image scene. In several other studies in the field of robotics, AR use methods and media in the form of a chessboard box as a reference for camera calibration and location estimation. However, it does not show accurate results for the size of objects in the room. We saw the potential areas of Alberti's perspective grid, which is often used as a reference in making sketches for the arts and various engineering fields so that they are visually precise with reality. Our study uses 6 reference points in a room arrangement with a floor grid pattern as a reference for the formation of a perspective grid. Based on the triangle comparison approach to determine the x-ordinate, the average error is 0.2193. And through 3 interpolation approaches to get the most accurate results with the Lagrange and Newton methods on the 6th order with the average difference between the actual and predicted points of 1.5 cm from the y-direction distance of the camera from 2 meters to 6.80 meters. © 2022 IEEE.

When making a new microprocessor (MPU), the instruction set architecture is considered. It is also necessary to design how to work the instructions in hardware circuits of the MPU. As a solution to these, we previously proposed a method of expressing the instruction in two ways of semantic expression and functional expression. We also developed a tool that can visualize the instruction. In this paper, we have improved this method by extending a usual MPU to a meta-instruction for any MPU. We have also developed a conversion method for the meta-instruction using a relationship between the semantic and the functional expressions. Then we verified how well our meta-instruction can represent the usual instructions. It is confirmed that most of them can be represented by the meta-instruction. Since our developed tool user can design the meta-instructions from either semantic or functional expression and both expressions can be automatically converted to each other, they can design the instruction of a new MPU and can understand hardware circuits for the MPU instruction by the functional expression. © 2022 IEEE.

Mental health is one of the states of well-being which enables people to cope with various things in everyday life. Despite that, mental health is often overlooked, driving the emergence of numerous mental disorders on people. Along the presence of technological advancements, there is serious game which is utilized to entertain and achieve non-game goals related to real-life issues. Due to that, serious game can be leveraged as a media put into health sectors, particularly in presenting fun therapy to people diagnosed with mental disorders. This research presents systematic literature review on publications discussing the utilization of serious game in providing fun therapy for people with mental disorders, focusing on matters like the mental disorders emphasized within, the game elements presented in each publication, and ways to evaluate the serious game. The result indicates overall well-received responses regarding the usage of serious game in serving the purpose, albeit with different ways on evaluation process based on the mental disorders each publication addressed for.

Through this pandemic, the world has experienced two major crises, health crisis, and economic crisis. It would be dangerous for us to continue with our "normal"daily lives. We have been forced to stay at home, and some have been dismissed from their jobs;even street vendors are forced to close. The primary purpose of this paper is to represent our solution idea on the troubles regarding COVID-19 to help and support people by providing them all the information and services needed about the COVID-19, such as the high-risk COVID-19 area, statistical growth, safety tips, online swab test booking, etc. through a mobile-based application. A subscription movie streaming service from the United States, Netflix, has been present in Indonesia since 2016 and provides a wide variety of films without showing any single advertisements that can be viewed from anywhere, as long as there is access to the internet. Despite these advantages, many users have complained through the Google Play Store's comments column. Some of the common complaints include frequent buffering and connectivity issues, dissatisfaction with the limited selection of Indonesian movies, lack of subtitles for specific languages, or pricing concerns have also been raised. In this study developed two combined scenario methods using the InSet and SentiStrength-id dictionary to obtain better performance and compare them against independent InSet and SentiStrength-id. This study collected users' comments for the Netflix app in the Google Play Store as a dataset using web scraping techniques through the Google Collaboration tool. The dataset contains 3250 rows spanning the period from January 22, 2024, through June 6, 2024. To ensure proper processing of the text, data cleaning, lowercasing, normalization, tokenization, stemming, and stopwords removal are conducted. The results show that most user opinions are negative. The InSet dictionary has an accuracy of 92%, SentiStrength-id 78%, Combined scenario 1 is 87%, and scenario 2 reaches the highest among others which is 92.52%. © 2024 IEEE.

Several studies suggest that sleep quality is associated with physical activities. Moreover, deep sleep time can be used to determine the sleep quality of an individual. In this work, we aim to find the association between physical activities and deep sleep time by modeling the time series data such as heart rate and a number of steps captured from a commercial wearable device. Our previous study demonstrates that deep learning-based time series modeling is well suited for our problem since the temporal patterns in the two physical parameters need to be captured to obtain more accurate results. We first preprocess our series data to have a time-step size of 10 minutes. To improve our previous effort in this modeling, we compare four different variants of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM)-based models, ranging from single input to dual input models. Our result shows that the simple stacked LSTM model performs better for our data because the remaining models suffer from overfitting due to a larger number of the trained parameters. © 2023 The Authors. Software projects are affected by technical knowledge as well as the personality of the team. Such factors can reduce or increase the software quality and development speed. For successful task allocation, it is essential to consider the skills and profile of each developer, thus maximizing their productivity. In projects with large teams, task allocation can be challenging, and the help of tools can facilitate its execution. In this work, we propose an intelligent approach for allocating software development tasks suitable to the profile of developers. From the literature, we define the appropriate skills and technical profiles for a development team, and the assessment is based on the developer completing a questionnaire. We developed a recommendation system to suggest tasks to be allocated to developers, employing text processing techniques. For validation, 495 tasks were used from an actual project developing simulator software for military training. The recommended allocations were evaluated by the project developers and used to improve the system. Validations showed that the developed approach makes consistent and coherent task recommendations to developers according to the developer profile, as participants agree with the recommendation for 76% of tasks. © 2024 IEEE.

With the development of narcotics problems that continue to increase, the Indonesian Government responds through the Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) with data showing the condition of narcotics tends to grow every year and is followed by the number of assets of money laundering (ML) crimes against narcotics cases. One of the banks in Indonesia as a reporting party for suspicious financial transactions (SFT) has obstacles in detecting narcotics ML due to complex and rarely found patterns. Some previous studies conducted experiments using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), and even a combination of both into Convolutional Extreme Gradient Boosting (ConvXGB), and improved model performance in several datasets. This paper designs a model using the ConvXGB algorithm by adopting the CNN architecture, LeNet-5, by applying several convolution layers and pooling layers as a baseline model for feature learning, and the XGBoost as feature classification. Three phases of research are the preprocessing phase by collecting data, transforming data, balancing data with a hybrid sampling technique, splitting data, and scaling data, followed by the implementation phase by creating a ConvXGB model, training and testing the model, then finally the evaluation phase by analyzing results and hyperparameter tuning. The dataset used is SFT from the bank during 2023. This ConvXGB has three convolution layers, a pooling layer, and a flattened layer. The performance test results are the accuracy value and F1-Score value of 99.11% each after hyperparameter tuning. By performing a hybrid model, the model performance results are better.
