Bound states in the continuum(BIC)have been widely researched and applied in optics due to their unique electromagnetic ***,there are still difficulties in predicting and customizing BIC *** address this issue,we design an efficient combined neural network for highly accurate prediction of quasi-bound states in the continuum(q-BIC)spectrum,as well as for the inverse design of the polarization independent enhancement of the Goos-H?nchen(GH)***,we propose a C_(4)symmetric metasurface for achieving q-BIC spectrum and providing the condition of enhanced GH *** employing a combined neural network,the intensity,position,shape,and phase of q-BIC spectrum with ultra-narrow resonance can be accurately predicted and on-demand customized,even under a small ***,we develop a screening algorithm for the q-BIC spectrum to quickly realize the polarization independent enhancement of GH *** an application,an ultra-high sensitivity refractive index sensor has been proposed,whose sensitivity can reach 2.31×10~7μm/RIU for TM polarization and 1.03×10~6μm/RIU for TE ***,this work brings new solutions for quick prediction of q-BIC spectrum and the development of flexible polarization photonic devices.

While several content management systems (CMS) and audience analytics tools are available for digital signage in the market, they are often sold separately and can be expensive. Therefore, this project aims to design a cost-effective and unified web-based solution for digital signage that combines content management and audience analytics functions, reducing the need for multiple purchases. This can be achieved by utilizing Raspberry Pi technology, known for its cost-effectiveness and versatility in integrations, along with a face recognition camera and machine learning methods. This proof of concept demonstrates the integration of these components to create a dynamic digital signage system. Overall, this project has the potential to offer an affordable solution for companies aiming to efficiently manage and optimize their digital marketing strategies, especially in the Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) Advertising space. © 2023 IEEE.

The Human-Centered Internet of Things(HC-IoT)is fast becoming a hotbed of security and privacy *** users can establish a common session key through a trusted server over an open communication channel using a three-party authenticated key *** of the early authenticated key agreement systems relied on pairing,hashing,or modular exponentiation processes that are computationally intensive and *** order to address this problem,this paper offers a new three-party authenticated key agreement technique based on fractional chaotic *** new scheme uses fractional chaotic maps and supports the dynamic sensing of HC-IoT devices in the network architecture without a password *** projected security scheme utilized a hash function,which works well for the resource-limited HC-IoT *** results show that our new technique is resistant to password guessing attacks since it does not use a ***,our approach provides users with comprehensive privacy protection,ensuring that a user forgery attack causes no ***,our new technique offers better security features than the techniques currently available in the literature.

Our research specifies the criteria for categorizing comments and supplements the limitations of the existing services that filter out only some of the direct malicious comments centered on specific vocabulary and phrases. In comparison to prior research detecting three sentiments as positive, negative, or neutral, we subdivided expressions into six categories. Our model applying classification downstream tasks to a pre-trained KcBERT model draws results reflecting the meaning and social context of the comments. An improved accuracy compared to previous studies shows a meaningful outcome. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Experimental learning method offers more experience and knowledge for learners. This research aims to determine the influence of computer based training utilizzation on learning outcomes of solid state electronics viewed from different learning style. Computer Based Training (CBT) is part of Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI), which is learning by using computer aids, such as for presentations as teaching aids and so on. CBT, which refers to Electronics WorkBench (EWB) is a category of software tools that can be used to simulate the workings of an electronic circuit both analog and digital. learning style is the way individuals begin to concentrate on, process, internalize, and remember new and difficult academic information or skill. Using CBT on experimental learning with different learning style could result on different learning outcomes. This research used quantitative approach in quasi-experimental frame. In this research, the compared conditions were the experimental learning method with CBT and analog experimenter and learning style, which were grouped into three, visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning style. The research instrument used were questionnaires and tests, while the data analysis used two ways of ANOVA. The statistical analysis showed that there was difference learning outcomes in Electronica Solid State Subject among experimental learning with CBT and analog experimenter. Furthermore, there was no interaction among the experimental learning with CBT and the learning style in terms of their effect towards learning outcomes. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Stimulated Recall (SR) has long been used in educational settings as an approach of retrospection. However, with the fast growing of digital learning and advanced technologies in educational settings over the past decade, the extent to which stimulated recall has been effectively implemented by researchers remains minimal. This systematic review reveals that SR has been primarily employed to probe the patterns of participants’ thinking, to examine the effects of instructional strategies, and to promote metacognitive level. Notably, SR video stimuli have advanced, and the sources of stimuli have become more diverse, including the incorporation of physiological data. Additionally, researchers have applied various strategies, such as flexible intervals and questioning techniques, in SR interviews. Furthermore, this article discusses the relationships between different SR research items, including stimuli and learning contexts. The review and analysis also demonstrate that stimulated recall may be further enhanced by integrating multiple data sources, applying intelligent algorithms, and incorporating conversational agents enabled by generative artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT. This article provides a comprehensive analysis of SR studies in the realm of education and proposes a promising avenue for researchers to proactively apply stimulated recall in investigating educational issues in the digital era. © The Author(s) 2024.

Quantum non-Markovianity of channels can be produced by mixing Markovian channels, as observed recently by various authors. We consider an analogous question of whether singularities of the channel can be produced by mixing nonsingular channels, i.e., ones that lack them. Here we answer the question in the negative in the context of qubit Pauli channels. On the other hand, mixing channels with a singularity can lead to the elimination of singularities in the resultant channel. We distinguish between two types of singular channels, which lead under mixing to broadly quite different properties of the singularity in the resultant channel. The connection to non-Markovianity (in the sense of completely positive indivisibility) is pointed out. These results impose nontrivial restrictions on the experimental realization of noninvertible quantum channels by a process of channel mixing.

This study explores and compares the capability of Gaussian process machine learning (GPML) with time series analysis techniques, which are autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA), seasonal ARIMA (SARIMA) and cubic spline interpolation, in modeling unemployment rate in Malaysia over the period of 1991 to 2022. Six predictive models are developed based on the observations. The predictive performance of each model is quantified using mean absolute error (MAE) and mean squared error (MSE). GPML demonstrated the best predictive model, exhibiting minimal MAE and MSE compared to the time series analysis techniques. The statistical analysis also concluded no significant mean difference between the GPML model and the actual observations, implying a robust predictive model in predicting the unemployment rate in Malaysia.

Gurame Soang Latin name Osphronomus Labirynthici gouramy including fish, that as the fish have gills and breathing apparatus in the form of additional gills (Labyrinth). One important factor in fish farming Soang Gurame is holding elections. Superior brood has characteristics identical, to distinguish it needs to experience since it is quite difficult. Some of the assessment factors in selecting a superior brood that could be considered in the cultivation of the fish farmers Gurame Soang as ideal weight, physical disability, movement of fish, the shape of the head, and the body color. All of these factors combined to get an assessment that could help the decision making process fish Gurame Soang superior sires. This study used two methods that have selected the calculation accuracy of the decision-making process. The method used is the Weighted Product and Simple Additive weighting. The results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded the total number of alternative Gurame Soang superior sires data as many as 10 fish, and obtained the results of testing the level of accuracy by using the results of data from a breeder Gurame Soang superior sires, Method of Weighted Product got an accuracy of 80% and methods Simple Additive weighting got an accuracy of 60%. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2019.
