Nearly the whole Indonesian Archipelago is threatened by earthquake hazards, both on a small and large scale. This indicates Indonesia's susceptibility to earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and other geological calamities. With the assistance of other pertinent ministries and institutions, the National Disaster management Agency (BNPB) in Indonesia is in charge of carrying out disaster management at the national level. In order for mitigation to function effectively and efficiently, this research is vital since it is based on the establishment of an evaluation model for an urban knowledge management system in Indonesia. The goal of the project is to create an assessment model for Indonesian urban knowledge management systems that can be applied to the deployment of autonomous socialization programs for disaster mitigation. Factor analysis and regression analysis are the primary techniques used in this work. Regression analysis is used to create a model that can represent the current state of mitigation socialization and be used to develop implementation strategies in the future. Factor analysis is used to identify dominant factors in the implementation of knowledge management systems that support independent socialization. © 2024 IEEE.

Factor analysis is used to reduce data or summarize, from the old variable which is widely changed to a few new variables called factors, and still contains most of the information contained in the original variable. While regression analysis studies the relationship between one or more variables/independent variables (X) with one dependent variable (Y).The purpose of this paper is to describe how the factor analysis method can be used to provide solutions to operational problems such as problems with public transportation services with online applications, for this reason the research was conducted in identifying what factors influence the quality of online applications, and henceforth can be used in building mathematical models that can explain practical applications and predictions in the future. This research is explained in a quantitative descriptive form using exploratory factor analysis and regression analysis methods to process primary data and build models. The conclusion of this study is that there are 22 indicators and three factors that determine the quality of the application. The three factors produced are system and information factors, user impact factors, and promotion factors. These three factors can henceforth become a model in determining customer satisfaction as an end user of public transportation with an online application. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Several species of bacteria can be utilized to degrade the residual insecticides. One of them was chosen from the genus Lactobacillus. The purposes of soils in Merdeka Village, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia as well as to investigate bacteria which is capable of surviving in DDT-contaminated soil. Method for the residual analysis of the soil utilizes Quechers tube, and the bacterial propagation were performed in the medium mineral 4 (MM4). Purification to bacterial isolates was carried out in the Plate Count Agar (PCA) medium and subsequently followed by morphological identification. The results of this study show that the soil were contaminated by O'P'-DDT ranging from 2.2 μgKg-1 to 9.0 μgKg-1. Phylogenetic analysis proves that the Lactobacillus sakei Strain PRO7 bacteria was identified. The growth rate of DDT biodegradation by Lactobacillus sakei Strain PRO7 bacteria is noted the highest at 7.89 observation and reaches 95.1% of biodegradation percentage at the 20 ppm DDT concentration. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The goal of this paper is to show a study to evaluate the possibility of using ontologies to support maintenance procedures in IT equipment in a small power company. The aim is to improve the degree of reliability in detection of potential failures and defects in maintenance processes of information technology critical assets, trying to obtain less downtime of services that they provide. The methodological procedures used in this study were literature review, to present the modeling concepts of knowledge focused on ontologies creation and state of the art in building of field procedures describing the steps from initial drafting of ontology finishing with their tests. The results demonstrate that it is viable to utilize this technique, where the network equipment that keeps critical services require high level of availability on meeting the needs of the corporation.

This research aims to build a mathematical model to formulate the problems of implementing knowledge management systems in companies that often face obstacles in achieving the desired objectives and goals. With increasing competition in the business sector, organizations or organizations realize the importance of utilizing the knowledge assets that reside in each individual and organization. If this knowledge can be managed optimally, it can become a competitive advantage for the company due to the emergence of innovative ideas by the concepts of knowledge management theory. By implementing optimal knowledge management (KM), companies can design innovative solutions to improve business operations and increase overall revenue. The factor analysis method will be used to find the determining factors for the success of the implementation of knowledge management systems (KMS) and the regression analysis method will also be used to form a mathematical model of several new factors which are formed as independent variables with the current level of community understanding of KMS as the dependent variable. The research results provide insight into strategies to improve success factors to successfully facilitate KMS implementation. This study contributes to existing knowledge management by providing insight into dynamics that go beyond the technical aspects of KMS, ultimately developing strategies for more effective and efficient utilization of knowledge and organizational growth and supporting competitive advantage for companies. © 2024 IEEE.

In Indonesia, currently there is a tendency that IoT will be implemented on a large scale to boost smart city development. Meanwhile, Indonesia is expected to experience deficiency of 500 MHz mobile spectrum in 2020. Therefore, the calculation of spectrum for IoT spectrum is urgently needed. This paper aims to calculate the spectrum which is required for IoT services in case of Jakarta Smart City. We use the method of forecasting IoT connected devices then predict the spectrum need with two scenarios. In this paper, we defined 2 scenarios, i.e. scenario 1 needs 15-20 uSec (includes over head time) on data rates 50 Kbps. Meanwhile, scenario 2 needs 8-11 uSec on data rates 100 Kbps. On 2025, IoT spectrum requirement in case of Jakarta Smart City will grow 17.27%. Regarding to the spectrum need, our work also proposes an IoT model for Jakarta Smart City applications, i.e. one-stop integrated service, UKM portal, e-health apps, e-integrated transport, waste management system, energy management system and integrated environmental information system. From the regulatory point of view, beside the benefits of IoT, there are many challenges which need to regulate such as spectrum allocation for IoT smart city, IoT connection, data privacy protection and security.

The ability to manage knowledge is becoming increasingly important in today's knowledge economy, especially for companies. In order to obtain the effectiveness of the process of sharing knowledge within the company, it is necessary to evaluate the implementation of the knowledge management system that is currently running. The purpose of knowledge management is to change the paradigm of existing knowledge in employees into knowledge that can explicitly become corporate or organizational knowledge, so that the company can be used to improve employee performance because there are sufficiently managed references or knowledge or experience or expertise that has been collected and disseminated by previous *** data obtained were then analyzed using the factor analysis method, and the results that five factors can affect employee performance through knowledge management systems implementation, these are the factors: human resources ability, effective information, knowledge management systems, Quality for Users, accurate information transfer, and adequate IT Infrastructure. Furthermore, from these five factors by using linear regression analysis a mathematical model can be built which can be simulated to illustrate the results of the evaluation. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Nowadays The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is identified by the growing implementation of technology in every business, one of the technologies it called Artificial Intelligence (AI). The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of how to measure the performance of information technology implementation in a company by using factor analysis and regression analysis methods. From the resulting mathematical model, it can be used to make predictions and make strategies in the implementation of information technology in the future. The concept was developed from the IT Balanced Scorecard (IT BSC) theory which was developed by constructing each of the existing perspectives to obtain indicators which are then used as a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 75 respondents, but only 70 questionnaires were complete and valid for this study. The data obtained were then analyzed using the factor analysis method. The analysis shows that there are four factors that affect the performance of IT implementation, namely: IT Competency, IT Service Capability, Business Continuity, and IT improvement. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Digital disruption has entered the banking industry, especially since the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. To remain competitive, every bank must adjust to the digital age. Reputation has a direct impact on a bank’s performance, capacity to draw in new clients, and capacity to keep hold of current ones. Making choices about how to address the difficulties of adopting artificial intelligence must consider these issues (AI). The financial sector as a whole now has a way to meet client expectations for more creative, practical, and secure solutions thanks to artificial intelligence (AI). The bank can swiftly decide which channel to use at what time and what material to target consumers with by utilizing AI.
