The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of how to measure the performance of information technology implementation in a company by using factor analysis and regression analysis methods. From the resulting mathematical model, it can be used to make predictions and make strategies in the implementation of information technology in the future. The concept was developed from the IT Balanced Scorecard (IT BSC) theory which was developed by constructing each of the existing perspectives to obtain indicators which are then used as a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 75 respondents, but only 70 questionnaires were complete and valid for this study. The data obtained were then analyzed using the factor analysis method. The analysis shows that there are four factors that affect the performance of IT implementation, namely: IT Competency, IT Service Capability, Business Continuity, and IT improvement. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The frequency of human-tapanuli orangutan (Pongo tapanuliensis) conflict has been increased with the widespread on degradation and fragmentation at Batangtoru Forest, South Tapanuli Regency. Orangutans often come on community lands to look for food, especially while the durian fruit season. This study aims to obtain information on socio-economic characteristics and public perception index to mitigate on human-tapanuli orangutan conflict around the Dolok Sipirok Nature Reserve, South Tapanuli Regency. Data was collected using a questionnaire distribution, interviews and descriptive observations, starting from October 2019 to January 2020. Respondents were selected by purposively sampling method, i.e. people had met and interacted with orangutans as many as 61 respondents from three villages. Data analyzed using frequency tables, likers scale and spearman rank correlation. The results showed that the community is Muslim majority, productive age, education below senior high school, farmers and income below IDR. 4,000,000. The public perception has declared orangutans as animals that consume community plants. They will drive away the orangutans found in processed land. The perception of conflict mitigation has strongly agreed with the program that must be done including providing compensation for losses, increasing patrol programs, developing local wisdom and building corridors in state forests. Effectively managing food supply chains is critical for ensuring food security and safety. Identifying and prioritizing the criteria affecting food supply chain performance is imperative to manage uncertainty and avoid undesirable consequences in Supply Chain management (SCM). This study aims to identify and prioritize critical criteria affecting food supply chains under uncertainty. We use the Delphi method to choose the predominating criteria classified into four groups: Resilience and Flexibility, Transparency and Traceability, Communication and Collaboration, and Regulation and Standardization. The fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method is used next to prioritize the selected criteria based on their significance. The results show investment in research and development, transparency and traceability, risk-sharing and collaboration among stakeholders, are the top criteria for food supply chain security and safety. These findings contribute to formulating and developing effective strategies for securing food supply chains. © 2023 The Author(s)

Knowledge management System (KMS) which includes knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge transfer, and the application of that knowledge within the organization to create work effectiveness and efficiency by bringing pre-existing knowledge as a basis for decision-making and work guidelines. PT. XYZ Indonesia is a company engaged in the amino acid industry that has just implemented a Knowledge management System (KMS) in early 2022. Competition between industries is very common in order to win business competition to get big profits. This success is highly dependent on human resources as businesspeople who run the company's wheels with the knowledge they have. Hiring employees from competitors is one of the fastest ways to get qualified and ready-to-use human resources. With a high employee turnover rate due to the increasing number of first-generation employees in the 1990s retiring, it is very necessary for company knowledge management to avoid loss of company knowledge. It takes knowledge transfer between employees for continuous work processes. The purpose of this study is to find out how business processes can run by implementing a Knowledge management System (KMS). The results of the knowledge management analysis in the company found that there is a web-based KMS application that functions to maintain and protect data and information so that it is not damaged and lost. The company has implemented explicit knowledge transfer through the add-user database system, employee data input, and employee absence system. In addition, companies still need to improve KM in the form of pages that can add tacit knowledge and display tacit knowledge to accommodate knowledge from employees, so that employee performance can be maximized. The development of information technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is very rapid, information technology infrastructure can be developed to support platforms in various business sectors, and the role and concept of managing relationships between companies and customers related to marketing, sales, and service business processes are the business focus for companies, so it is necessary to look for factors, indicators that affect competitive advantage in order to build an evaluation model in implementing an effective and efficient Customer Relationship management system to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. This research was conducted through interviews and distributing questionnaires to various respondents who were users of company products or customers the analytical method for data processing used factor analysis methods and regression analysis was used to produce mathematical models. The results obtained are a number of new factors formed from a number of indicators that make up these factors so that an ideal evaluation model can be built. It is concluded that the factors related to the evaluation of the implementation of electronic marketing are Customer Service Experience, Customer Experience Value, Business Value Proposition, Product Development, and Communication Core, and Lack of Services and Supply, and through these factors, an implementation model can be built to appropriate and optimum electronic marketing in competitive advantage.

A scaled-down form of smart cities is smart buildings since they have overlapping needs for managing lighting and energy as well as for ensuring the safety and security of their residents. Installing and utilizing cutting-edge, integrated building technology systems constitutes a smart building. These systems include facility management, telecommunications, user systems, and building automation. The benefits of smart buildings include lower expenses for upkeep and energy use, a decrease in emissions, better productivity, more habitable structures, and higher resale value. On the other side, there are also drawbacks, including usability, initial installation expenses, ongoing internet fees, and cyber security issues. The purpose of smart buildings was the main topic of this study, which searched online for literature reviews and other information sources.

Evaluating the physical quality of soil (SPQ) at the watershed scale is crucial for improved management and conservation of soil and water within the watershed. This study aims to assess the spatial uncertainties of soil physical vulnerability (SPV), based on the characterization of the distribution and spatial variability of physical-hydric attributes (PHA), using geostatistical simulation within the established sample grid in the Santa Rita watershed (SRW), located in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Southern Brazil. Variability and spatial distribution were assessed using the Matheron estimator and the sequential Gaussian simulation (SGS) method, respectively. Uncertainties of macroporosity (Ma), bulk density (Bd), and saturated hydraulic conductivity (Ks) were evaluated based on cumulative frequency distribution curves and coefficient of variation mapping from simulations. The SPV was assessed by integrating different critical zone maps based on Ma, Bd, and Ks. Among the studied attributes, Ks exhibited the highest heterogeneity. SGS effectively characterized the variability and spatial distribution of Ma, Bd, and Ks, identifying critical areas and developing maps highlighting zones with compromised soil quality. Ks required more simulated random fields, while Ma presented fewer uncertainties. The spatial uncertainties for SPV were minimal, despite using different combinations of PHA in the assessment. Soils under native forest showed a lower tendency for physical degradation, whereas soils under crops and native field in the southern portion of the SRW exhibited a higher tendency for physical degradation. Mapping SPV is crucial for assessing SPQ, identifying areas prone to fragility, and promoting sustainable soil and water management. © 2023, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The Data Center is the center of the company’s data management operations as well as the largest energy consumer to support the operations of information technology infrastructure. Therefore, the company must have a strategy for implementing information systems and information technology related to the data center. The purpose of developing this article is to increase the efficiency of the company’s data center electricity load and help companies move towards green computing that is environmentally friendly. The direct survey method was conducted through interviews with related information technology staff, and field data collection. While the green grid method is used to analyze green Information Technology (IT) and for project appraisal, discounting models are used, namely Net Present Value (NPV) and internal rate of return (IRR). The results of the study prove that the company’s PUE (Power Utilization Effectiveness) and DCiE (Data Center Infrastructure Efficiency) are not efficient. In addition, the company’s data center information technology equipment has inefficient usage, causing waste of electricity costs. The conclusion that can be drawn from this research is that green data centers are able to solve various problems of managing data centers that are environmentally friendly and support sustainable competitive advantages for companies.

The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 had a significant impact on the economy of a country. The development of the increasing number of investors spread across various regions is an obstacle to increasing its participation during the implementation of the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS). Therefore, companies are required to be able to carry out digital transformation and follow technological developments, especially building an information technology infrastructure that accommodates the needs and makes it easier for shareholders to participate in the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) electronically or better known as e-GMS which is equipped with an e-proxy and e-voting platform. Increasing participation can have an impact on the quality of corporate governance, which can improve the quality of audits higher and have an impact on the level of internal control. On the other hand, the presence of monitoring from shareholders can significantly reduce the company's financial leverage.
