In an oil drilling area, there are two oil drilling companies that have obtained permits to drill. As time goes by, the availability of existing petroleum decreases. To anticipate natural resources the government only prioritizes one company. Competition occurs between the two of them to explore petroleum from the ground so that they can drill. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview, how to make a system dynamics model related to the problem of oil drilling as an increasingly limited natural resource, by taking the case of the relationship between drilling companies in facing business competition. The method used is system dynamics with a standard model of mutual difficulties (drifting goals). The result obtained is a system dynamics model that can be used to demonstrate the behavior of a simulated petroleum drilling model to get an overview or condition of the limitations of petroleum and future availability.

Soekarno-Hatta International Airport is prone to various environmental problems. The problem of population growth has an impact on increasing economic activity which directly impacts the environment. In every production activity from the environmental side, it will bring up the carrying capacity of the environment and the carrying capacity of the environment or ecological footprint. The problem will be difficult if it turns out that the ecological footprint that occurs exceeds the capacity of the existing environmental carrying capacity, also for airport problems. This will result in the airport being unsustainable. This article will discuss the model of the airport environmental footprint that is currently occurring at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport by utilizing the opinions of respondents who live and have activities around the airport. The factor analysis method is used to process the respondent's data to obtain the factors that influence the environmental footprint and then through these findings a model can be developed which is expected to be able to abstract the current conditions. The research results show that the dominant environmental footprint at Soekarno-Hatta airport is overload airport activities impact, operational slot time optimization, and renewable of airport energy, which can then be built as an instrument to evaluate, build and develop airport control policies that are environmentally friendly and sustainable.

The purpose of writing this paper is to look at how factors of big data adoption affect the users of social media and brand popularity. The method used in the writing of this paper is by using path analysis and also by doing literature study to find reference material. The results of the analysis indicate that there is influence of big data adoption factors that affect the popularity of the brand. With this research, we get big data model that influence the brand popularity.

The monitoring of water quality in large coastal regions demands great analytical efforts through the collection of many samples, over long periods. Remote sensing is a reliable tool that can provide valuable information on the spatial and temporal variations of environmental parameters, particularly turbidity and chlorophyll a. The aim of the present research was to evaluate the spatial and temporal distribution of water quality from 2005 to 2017 along the north coast of São Paulo and its responses to the implementation of industrial developments and to variations in rainfall. Fifty-two MODIS images were used, showing concentrations of chlorophyll a and turbidity, in the dry season and wet season, from 2005 to 2017. The results showed that dilution processes (due to rainfall) control chlorophyll a concentrations. However, a notable increase in concentrations could be identified after the installation of some of the developments in the region, particularly roads and ports. Turbidity was also shown to be affected by dilution processes, and during the wet season this parameter presented lower values. No effect in the results of turbidity could be identified from the installation of roads or ports, showing that vegetation cover exerts an important control on the erosional processes.

In Law Number 24 Year 2007 concerning Disaster management, it is stated that the central government and regional governments are responsible for implementing disaster management, with an emphasis on preparedness and mitigation in dealing with natural disasters, as well as based on the provisions of article 1 of Presidential Regulation No. 46 of 2008 concerning the National Council on Climate Change that climate change is a change in average conditions of climate and / or climate diversity from one period of time to another as a result of human activity. However, the socialization of these two matters is not regulated in existing laws and regulations, so that the information dissemination plan and dissemination of the information must be carried out to the community itself. In line with developments in technology and information systems that have entered the era of media convergence, the acceleration of the process of spreading government programs can also be done by using this technology. The SECI method model (Socialization, Externalization, Combination, Internalization) was developed through implementation based on the 'Knowledge management System Cycle' theory, so that a knowledge management system was formed. The results of research on community preparedness in the application of Knowledge management Systems (KMS) for natural disaster preparedness and mitigation can be used to support the dissemination and dissemination of disaster management mitigation, global warming, and community-based climate change, including performance measurement of success.

Faunus ater is a favoritemollusca that is often found on the Bale River. Local people use these snails as food for consumption along with their main food. Bale River itself is located adjacent to the cement factory, used water washing machines distributed to the river is feared to support the presence of lead (Pb) and zinc (Zn) metals in the river. This study aims to analyze the relationship of Pb and Zn content in sediments to the content of Pb and Zn in Faunus ater. Data collection was carried out in Februari until April 2018. The relationship between Pb and Zn content in sediments with Pb and Zn content in the body of Faunus ater was analyzed by correlation analysis. The results of the data analysis showed that the metal content of Pb and Zn in sediment and Faunus aterwere found to vary. The highest Pb content in sediment was found at station 2 in March, amounting to 32.87 mg / kg. while the highest Zn content was found at station 1 in March amounting to 84 mg / kg. The relationship of heavy metals Pb and Zn in sediments to the content of Pb and Zn in the body of Faunus ater showed a negative correlation. The conclusion of this study is that there is no correlation between the content of Pb and Zn heavy metals in sediments on the content of lead Pb and Zn in the body of Faunus ater at the Bale Lhoknga River in Aceh Besar District. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Properties of concrete paving blocks made with nickel slags

This study is a follow-up of nickel slag waste used for building construction materials. Paving blocks were made using a mixture of cement and aggregates in a ratio of 1: 3 and 1: 5 which used a mixture of nickel slag waste and natural sand with aggregate gradation in zone III of the rather fine sand category based on SNI 03-2834-2000. Sand substitution with nickel slag waste has used a variation of the composition of the mixture of 0% (without slag), 25%, 75%, and 100% (without sand). The behaviour would be obtained the compressive strength value of paving blocks and average water absorption. Paving blocks compressive strength were tested at the age of 28 days, while the average value of water absorption was performed by immersing the paving block specimens for 24 hours. The physical strength and absorption value of paving block water refer to SNI 03-0691-1996. The results showed that the use of nickel slag waste in making paving blocks could increase the compressive strength of paving blocks, while water absorption in all compositions and variations of the paving blocks mixture was decreased in line with the increase of nickel slag composition.

Several species of bacteria can be utilized to degrade the residual insecticides. One of them was chosen from the genus Lactobacillus. The purposes of soils in Merdeka Village, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia as well as to investigate bacteria which is capable of surviving in DDT-contaminated soil. Method for the residual analysis of the soil utilizes Quechers tube, and the bacterial propagation were performed in the medium mineral 4 (MM4). Purification to bacterial isolates was carried out in the Plate Count Agar (PCA) medium and subsequently followed by morphological identification. The results of this study show that the soil were contaminated by O'P'-DDT ranging from 2.2 μgKg-1 to 9.0 μgKg-1. Phylogenetic analysis proves that the Lactobacillus sakei Strain PRO7 bacteria was identified. The growth rate of DDT biodegradation by Lactobacillus sakei Strain PRO7 bacteria is noted the highest at 7.89 observation and reaches 95.1% of biodegradation percentage at the 20 ppm DDT concentration. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Modeling the relationship between public transportation and traffic conditions in urban areas : a system dynamics approach

The goals of the paper were to describe were and find the relations between numbers of available public transportation and traffic congestion and other variables that can reduce traffic congestion in Jakarta. The data that used in the simulation were provided by DKI Jakarta Provincial Statistics Agency from view years ago. To analyze the problem, System Dynamics are used to simulate the condition in the future using the models created based on relations between several variables. The results of the analysis shows that numbers of available public transportation cannot reduce traffic congestion if the numbers of private transportation weren't decreased. It can be concluded that government must force their citizen to reduce the number of private transportation by increasing the inflation supported by increasing numbers of available public transportation to accommodate deficit in transportation while building new roads to accommodate transportation growth in the future.
