Modern cosmological research still thoroughly debates the discrepancy between local probes and the Cosmic Microwave Background observations in the Hubble constant ( H 0 ) measurements, ranging from 4 to 6 σ . In the current study, we examine this tension using the Supernovae Ia (SNe Ia) data from the Pantheon, Pantheon+ (P+), Joint Lightcurve Analysis (JLA), and Dark Energy Survey, (DES) catalogs combined together into the so-called Master Sample. The sample contains 3714 SNe Ia, and is divided all of them into redshift-ordered bins. Three binning techniques are presented: the equi-population, the moving window (MW), and the equi-spacing in the log ⁡ − z . We perform a Markov-Chain Monte Carlo analysis (MCMC) for each bin to determine the H 0 value, estimating it within the standard flat ΛCDM and the w 0 w a CDM models. These H 0 values are then fitted with the following phenomenological function: H 0 ( z ) = H ˜ 0 / ( 1 + z ) α , where H ˜ 0 is a free parameter representing H 0 ( z ) fitted in z = 0 , and α is the evolutionary parameter. Our results indicate a decreasing trend characterized by α ∼ 0.01 , whose consistency with zero ranges from 1 σ in 5 cases to 1 case at 3 σ and 11 cases at > 3 σ in several samples and configurations. Such a trend in the SNe Ia catalogs could be due to evolution with redshift for the astrophysical variables or unveiled selection biases. Alternatively, intrinsic physics, possibly the f ( R ) theory of gravity, could be responsible for this trend.

Calculation of Lung Cancer Volume of Target Based on Thorax Computed Tomography Images using Active Contour Segmentation Method for Treatment Planning System

In this research, calculation process of the lung cancer volume of target based on computed tomography (CT) thorax images was done. Volume of the target calculation was done in purpose to treatment planning system in radiotherapy. The calculation of the target volume consists of gross tumor volume (GTV), clinical target volume (CTV), planning target volume (PTV) and organs at risk (OAR). The calculation of the target volume was done by adding the target area on each slices and then multiply the result with the slice thickness. Calculations of area using of digital image processing techniques with active contour segmentation method. This segmentation for contouring to obtain the target volume. The calculation of volume produced on each of the targets is 577.2 cm3 for GTV, 769.9 cm3 for CTV, 877.8 cm3 for PTV, 618.7 cm3 for OAR 1, 1,162 cm3 for OAR 2 right, and 1,597 cm3 for OAR 2 left. These values indicate that the image processing techniques developed can be implemented to calculate the lung cancer target volume based on CT thorax images. This research expected to help doctors and medical physicists in determining and contouring the target volume quickly and precisely.

Verification of Radiation Isocenter on Linac Beam 6 MV using Computed Radiography

Radiation isocenter is more important part of quality assurance for the linear accelerator (Linac) due to radiation isocenter is a main location in irradiation radiotherapy, isocenter can shift when the gantry and collimator rotation. In general, the radiation isocenter verification using a special film. This research was conducted radiation isocenter verification using computed radiography with digital image processing techniques. Image acquisition was done using the modalities of Linac 6 MV with star shot method is star-shaped beam due to rotation of the collimator, gantry and couch. Then do the delineation on each beam to determine the centroid and beam diameter. By the results of verification of radiation isocenter performed on collimator and the couch, it shows that the size diameter for rotational collimator is 0.632 mm and 0.458 mm for the couch. Based on AAPM report 40 about the size of the Linac radiation isocenter diameter used in this study is still in good condition and worth to be operated because the value of the radiation isocenter diameter is below 2 mm.

Automatic Detection of Atrial Fibrillation Using Basic Shannon Entropy of RR Interval Feature

Atrial Fibrillation is one of heart disease, that common characterized by irregularity heart beat. Atrial fibrillation leads to severe complications such as cardiac failure with the subsequent risk of a stroke. A method to detect atrial fibrillation is needed to prevent a risk of atrial fibrillation. This research uses data from physionet in atrial fibrillation database category. The performance of Shannon entropy has the highest accuracy if a threshold is 0.5 with accuracy 89.79%, sensitivity 91.04% and specificity 89.01%. Based on the result we get a conclusion, the ability of Shannon entropy to detect atrial fibrillation is good.

Effect of co doping to the optical properties of ZnO:Co Thin films deposited on glass substrate by sol-gel spray coating technique

This study aims are to analyze the effect of cobalt doping concentration to the optical properties ZnO:Co thin films deposited by using sol-gel spray coating technique. Deposition of ZnO and ZnO:Co thin films has been successfully formed on a glass substrate using sol-gel method of spray coating technique with a variation of doping Co as much as 3%, 5%, 7%, 9%, and 11%. Solution of ZnO:Co synthesized by mixing zinc acetate dehydrate (Zn (COOCH3)2.2H2O into a isopropanol ((CH3)2CHOH) then monoethanolamine (MEA) and cobalt nitrate are added as a dopant at room temperature, then ZnO:Co sprayed on a glass substrate that has been heated at a temperature of 450°C. A thin film further characterized using spectrophotometer Uv-Vis to determine the value of absorbance and transmittance. Energy band gap was determined by using tauc plot that uses the absorbance value. The results show that there has been a difference in the value of the Energy band gap of ZnO with and without of Co doping. The addition of Co doping causes the decrease of small energy band gap. The magnitude of the energy band gap of thin films of ZnO is 3.337 eV and ZnO:Co 3% is 3.129 eV. Thin film that has narrower band gap was applied for material photocatalyst

Characteristic and quality control test in sector collimator gamma knife perfexion at Siloam hospital

In this study conducted to evaluate the collimator 4 mm, 8 mm, 16 mm to determine the level of precision Gamma Knife Perfexion there three years and eight months has not carried out measurements after the first year and verify the alignment of sector 1-8. Measurement with three axes (x-axis, y-axis, z-axis) using the film Gafcromic EBT-3, which will be signaled to a central point in the film to be measured and given a dose of 5 Gy for 10 minutes and then scanned and analyzed using ImageJ softwere 1.50 and dose rate in film comparison with measurent dose rate using electrometer. Alignment of Patient-Positioning System (PPS) with Radiation Focal Point (RFP) determination of quality control testing each collimator 4 mm in the standard test with < 0.1 and > 0.4 mm passive voice AAPM 54. The results of the standard are still in conformity item 0.21 mm for 4 mm and corelasi dose rate film and measurent using electrometer collimator 4 mm = 0.965, 8 mm = 0.964, 16 mm = 0.959.

Fabrication and variation layers of Cu/TiO2 nanocomposite and its applications in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC)

Fabrication of Cu/TiO2 nanocomposite had been successfully performed. A nanocomposite was prepared by the insertion of metal (copper) in the TiO2 nanoparticles. Cu/TiO2 nanocomposite was deposited on the FTO glass used the spin coating method. Layers of Cu/TiO2 nanocomposite were prepared in variations at 1, 2 and 3 layers. Spektrofotometer UV-VIS Lamda 25 was used to determine the optical characteristics and the energy gap of DSSC materials. El kahfi 100/I-V Meter and Keithley 2602A was used to determine the electrical properties of Cu/TiO2 nanocomposite. UV-VIS result was showed that there increased absorption wavelength of Cu/TiO2 nanocomposite and were able to decrease the energy gap. El kahfi was showed that the conductivity of the Cu/TiO2 nanocomposite was 3.71x10-2 (Ω-1m-1). Keithley was showed that the highest efficiency in the 3 layers of Cu/TiO2 nanocomposite of 0.011%.

Annealing temperature dependence of magnetoimpedance effect in electrodeposited [Ni80fe20/Cu]3 multilayers

We have conducted an experiment of magnetoimpedance with a variation of annealing temperature of [Ni80Fe20/Cu)]3 multilayers. The multilayer is electrodeposited on Cu-PCB substrate. Magnetoimpedance effect is impedance measure on account of external magnetic field. The found MI (magnetoimpedance) ratio is 7,63 % (without annealing) and 4,75 % (using annealing) of 100 ºC. We find that MI ratio depends on to annealing temperature and current frequence. MI ratio decreases due to rising temperature and identified increase due to the frequency. The highest MI ratio is on a sample without annealing temperature and measurement at 100 kHz frequence.

Visualization of heat transfer in material for varians of boundary value with Relaxation Iteration Gauss-Seidel method

The research was aimed to know the effect of initial boundary value to the heat propagation rate pattern using iterations over Gauss-Seidel relaxation method and to analyze the exact value of each node descritization profile of test material. This study was an analytical study to fine analytical an numerical solution. Result from this study is that the pattern of variation of the boundary or initial conditions of a material with regard conductivity value remains at steady state the exact value of the smallest are in the same iteration value. The indicates that the value of the thermal equilibrium tend to be at the same iteration. Result from study showed that the pattern of initial boundary values that causes steady state of heat propagation of test material that has smallest exact similar to the iteration value.
