This review aimed to investigate the technological potential of grape pomace for application in the meat industry,approaching the compounds of interest and presenting the challenges of its application in meat *** pomace contains bioactive and nutritional compounds with beneficial properties for maintaining the physical-chemical,sensory,and nutritional quality of meat and its *** studies have reported the presence of fiber,amino acids,essential fatty acids and minerals capable of increasing the nutritional value of meat products and promoting a nutrient supply when associated with animal ***,the bioactive composition of grape pomace has anthocyanins,flavanols and phenolic acids capable of increasing the shelf life of meat products,inhibiting microbial development,and delaying the oxidative processes responsible for the deterioration of sensory and nutritional *** use of nano and microencapsulation technologies and the use of active packaging as carriers of grape pomace extracts enhance their application in meat and meat *** technologies,applied individually or together,promote the controlled release of bioactive compounds during the storage and mask undesirable flavors promoted by phenolic *** addition to the technological potential,the use of grape pomace by the meat industry meets the current demand for the use of natural additives and is in accordance with the sustainable development objectives established by the United Nations Organization,reducing environmental impacts and allowing the obtaining molecules with high added value from industrial waste.

This paper proposes a new method for obtaining self and mutual inductances in wireless power transfer (WPT) systems using a deep neural network (DNN). In this paper, five structural parameters of a WPT system were experimentally used as inputs. The experimental results demonstrate that inductances obtained by the proposed method are within 10% in the maximum errors and about 1% in the mean absolute errors. The proposed method is about 682k times faster than the field solver in the CPU time required to obtain the inductances of one structure. © 2022 IEEE.

Magnetic coupled wireless power transfer systems have been incorporated in various devices including smartphones, and are becoming important to charge multiple devices at the same time. In this paper, we propose a new circular transmitter that can efficiently charge multiple receivers. The transmitter coil consists of a parabolic spiral that is sparse on the inside and tight on the outside from the beginning. The analysis result shows that when the five receivers are charged, they can be charged almost evenly and the total efficiency is 79.2%. © 2022 IEEE.

Farmers have difficulty in developing community forest and their derivative products because they are constrained by funds. So, The Ministry of Environment and Forestry issued a credit program to delay cutting down trees. Loans use trees as collateral for credit. The experimental site is in Kawengen Village Ungaran East Ungaran, Semarang Regency Central Java Province (7° 1021 N 110° 4814 W) at 216 m above sea level. Data is obtained from Lestari farmer grup. Lestari farmer group is a farmer organization that participates in the delayed cutting down trees credit *** purpose of the study was to find out the implications of implementing credit program to delay cutting down trees for sustainable community forest management. The study indicated that delayed cutting loan is beneficial for farmers and forest suistainability. The result is the delay in cutting trees useful for providing longer opportunities of tree life, thus trees can be functioned ecologically and economically longer. On the other hand, if it fails to pay, there will be fragmentation of community forest land. The ecological and economic functions of trees will also be lost. © The Authors, published by EDP sciences, 2019.

Factor analysis is used to reduce data or summarize, from the old variable which is widely changed to a few new variables called factors, and still contains most of the information contained in the original variable. While regression analysis studies the relationship between one or more variables/independent variables (X) with one dependent variable (Y).The purpose of this paper is to describe how the factor analysis method can be used to provide solutions to operational problems such as problems with public transportation services with online applications, for this reason the research was conducted in identifying what factors influence the quality of online applications, and henceforth can be used in building mathematical models that can explain practical applications and predictions in the future. This research is explained in a quantitative descriptive form using exploratory factor analysis and regression analysis methods to process primary data and build models. The conclusion of this study is that there are 22 indicators and three factors that determine the quality of the application. The three factors produced are system and information factors, user impact factors, and promotion factors. These three factors can henceforth become a model in determining customer satisfaction as an end user of public transportation with an online application. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

An effort to obtain alternative energy is still interesting subject to be studied, especially production of biogas from agriculture waste. This paper was an overview of the latest development of biogas researches from rice husk waste by Solid State Anaerobic Digestion (SSAD). The main obstacle of biogas production from rice husk waste was the lignin content which is very difficult degraded by microbes. Various pretreatments have been conducted, either physically, chemically as well as biologically. The SSAD method was an attractive option because of the low water content of rice husk waste. The biogas yield by SSAD method gave more attractive result compared to Liquid Anaerobic Digestion (LAD) method. Various studies were still conducted in batch mode laboratory scale and also has not found optimum operating conditions. Research on a larger scale such as bench and pilot scale with continuous systems will be an increase trend in the future research. © 2018 The Authors, published by EDP sciences.

The ability to manage knowledge is becoming increasingly important in today's knowledge economy, especially for companies. In order to obtain the effectiveness of the process of sharing knowledge within the company, it is necessary to evaluate the implementation of the knowledge management system that is currently running. The purpose of knowledge management is to change the paradigm of existing knowledge in employees into knowledge that can explicitly become corporate or organizational knowledge, so that the company can be used to improve employee performance because there are sufficiently managed references or knowledge or experience or expertise that has been collected and disseminated by previous *** data obtained were then analyzed using the factor analysis method, and the results that five factors can affect employee performance through knowledge management systems implementation, these are the factors: human resources ability, effective information, knowledge management systems, Quality for Users, accurate information transfer, and adequate IT Infrastructure. Furthermore, from these five factors by using linear regression analysis a mathematical model can be built which can be simulated to illustrate the results of the evaluation. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In Law Number 24 Year 2007 concerning Disaster Management, it is stated that the central government and regional governments are responsible for implementing disaster management, with an emphasis on preparedness and mitigation in dealing with natural disasters, as well as based on the provisions of article 1 of Presidential Regulation No. 46 of 2008 concerning the National Council on Climate Change that climate change is a change in average conditions of climate and / or climate diversity from one period of time to another as a result of human activity. However, the socialization of these two matters is not regulated in existing laws and regulations, so that the information dissemination plan and dissemination of the information must be carried out to the community itself. In line with developments in technology and information systems that have entered the era of media convergence, the acceleration of the process of spreading government programs can also be done by using this technology. The SECI method model (Socialization, Externalization, Combination, Internalization) was developed through implementation based on the 'Knowledge Management System Cycle' theory, so that a knowledge management system was formed. The results of research on community preparedness in the application of Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) for natural disaster preparedness and mitigation can be used to support the dissemination and dissemination of disaster management mitigation, global warming, and community-based climate change, including performance measurement of success. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In Central Vietnam, the aggregate typically originates from highly acidic rocks containing a significant amount of silicon dioxide (SiO2), leading to poor adhesion quality with virgin asphalt binder. Hence, the asphalt mixture production usually needs to utilize adhesion promoters. Based on the chemical compositions of the sample aggregate (up to 72.3% SiO2), research has been conducted to introduce an adhesive agent called rubber modified compound (RMC-160), which is composed of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) with petroleum hydrocarbon resin, treated clay and mineral oil. This article presents the research findings regarding the adhesion effectiveness of RMC-160-modified asphalt binder to high acid-based aggregate through laboratory and field tests, along with the mixture performance under both short-term oven aging (STOA) and long-term oven aging (LTOA). The test results exhibited remarkable effects, whereby the asphalt binder modified with RMC-160 additive significantly increased the adhesion level from Grade 2 to Grade 4, and the asphalt mixtures containing RMC-160 had lower rutting and higher cracking tolerance (CTIndex) under both the STOA and LTOA conditions. © 2025 American Society of Civil Engineers.

The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of how to measure the performance of information technology implementation in a company by using factor analysis and regression analysis methods. From the resulting mathematical model, it can be used to make predictions and make strategies in the implementation of information technology in the future. The concept was developed from the IT Balanced Scorecard (IT BSC) theory which was developed by constructing each of the existing perspectives to obtain indicators which are then used as a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 75 respondents, but only 70 questionnaires were complete and valid for this study. The data obtained were then analyzed using the factor analysis method. The analysis shows that there are four factors that affect the performance of IT implementation, namely: IT Competency, IT Service Capability, Business Continuity, and IT improvement. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
