Every patient has health record, it was written as statement of patient's conditions, treatments, and medications, and nowadays it is become digitalized, it can be copied and shared easily, but the nature of EHR is private, not for public, private between patients and healthcare provider. Privacy preserving can be done by implementing Blockchain network for storing EHR, only authorized users or nodes can access and write data to the network. New block in blockchain created as per consensus among nodes, every node can join a blockchain network if it is public, to meet a consensus required resources intensive cryptographic challenge, in private blockchain, only selected can join and involved in the network or specific transaction. In healthcare, data privacy is the main concerned, need a secure, scalable, and efficient blockchain hence implementing consortium blockchain is perfect match for EHR where multiple healthcare provider can operate in a single platform to conduct transaction or sharing EHR among members. This study analyzes 15 articles derived from IEEE Explore, science Direct and Scopus by implementing screening with keyword Consortium Blockchain and EHR and proposing new blockchain model accommodating solution for challenges on access, storage, sharing, privacy, and performance.

Interest in artificial intelligence (AI)-driven crowd work has increased during the last few years as a line of inquiry that expands upon prior research on microtasking to represent a means of scaling up complex tasks through AI mediation. Despite the increasing attention to the macrotask phenomenon in crowdsourcing, there is a need to understand the processes, elements, and constraints underlying the infrastructural and behavioral aspects in such form of crowd work when involving collaboration. To this end, this paper provides a first attempt to characterize some of the research conducted in this direction to identify important paths for an agenda comprising key drivers, challenges, and prospects for integrating human-centered AI in collaborative crowdsourcing environments.

In this paper, we continue our investigations on digital nomadism and the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the work-related aspects and lifestyle of digital nomads (DN). The findings presented in this empirical study reflect the analysis of the impact of COVID-19 outbreak (and its waves) on the market economy and work-life boundaries of DNs as perceived from posts and comments gathered from a Reddit community during the period of early March 2020 until the end of 2022. From this point, our results indicate that the massification of remote work among formal workers in response to COVID-19 pandemic has impacted both the formal labor market and the DN ecosystem. As a consequence, we argue that digital nomadism tends to play a critical role beyond work from (almost) anywhere (WFA) in a post-COVID-19 era taking into account the novel facets of nomadic work-lifestyle.

Purpose: The objectives of this study were to create a device with technological development of the self-inflating bag (SIB) equipment to measure the variables tidal volume, peak inspiratory pressure, and inspiratory flow and to evaluate the knowledge of undergraduate students in handling the SIB. To reduce the risks of mortality, length of hospital stay, and infections, SIB is a resource used to ventilate the patient through the inflation of the device, but it is not capable of measuring the ventilatory parameters. Excess ventilation and incorrect handling of the bag can cause lung injury in newborns. Therefore, measuring these parameters can prevent lung injury resulting from inadequate ventilation. Method: This is a cross-sectional and experimental study, with the development of a device SIB that allows the evaluation of variables of neonatal respiratory mechanics that were tested with an artificial lung. It was approved by the Research Ethics Committee and the research was developed in three stages: the first represents the search for scientific articles for the consensus of neonatal ventilatory variables for the construction of the SIB parameters;the second stage depicts the technological development of a device capable of monitoring such variables through the SIB. In the third stage, the content validation of the device with the handling of the SIB was carried out by students of medicine and physiotherapy courses of Brazil. Results: In this work, a device that analyzes the values of the main ventilatory parameters in neonatology was developed and to generate a safety range for the use of the device, curves with a tolerance of 10% up and down were created. All electronic components were coupled to the equipment, with a display that transmits the parameter values. This paper explores the challenges and strategies used to design, build and evaluate a collective intelligence (CI) model to support discussions about cities. Through an autoethnography of ideas and discussion practices in both online and offline contexts, this work explores the tensions between the chosen methodological approaches, including design science research (DSR) and participatory action research (PAR). Moreover, we also examine the challenges and pitfalls observed during the practical conduction of this research when involving participants in the process of empirically evaluating the proposed model. Finally, aspects related to the autoethnographic process itself as a reflective method are discussed alongside the consequences of desiring and seeking participation in the research process.

The Massification of remote work, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, has been causing significant changes in productive and working arrangements, both for individuals, organizations, and society. At the level of personal life philosophy, for example, this transformation can be evidenced in the dissemination of digital nomadism values such as work/leisure balance among corporate workers. On the other hand, at the level of gig/crowd work platforms, the emergence of tensions may indicate the exhaustion of sociotechnical design models adopted by big techs. We show how evidence collected from digital nomads in empirical ethnography studies can inform HCI/CSCWD researchers of design-oriented strands to explore emerging opportunities in new creative digital crypto-economic ecosystems. Finally, we present a proposed research agenda to explore DNs’ activities in the crypto-economic ecosystem.

The production of biofuels to be used as bioenergy under combustion processes generates some gaseous emissions (CO, CO₂, NO_x, SO_x, and other pollutants), affecting living organisms and requiring careful assessments. However, obtaining such information experimentally for data evaluation is costly and time-consuming and its in situ obtaining for regional biomasses (e.g., those from Northeast Brazil (NEB) is still a major challenge. This paper reports on the application of artificial neural networks (ANNs) for the prediction of the main air pollutants (CO, CO₂, NO, and SO₂) produced during the direct biomass combustion (N₂/O₂:80/20%) with the use of ultimate analysis (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur, and oxygen). 116 worldwide biomasses were used as input data, which is a relevant alternative to overcome the lack of experimental resources in NEB and obtain such information. Cross-validation was conducted with k-fold to optimize the ANNs and performance was analyzed with the use of statistical errors for accuracy assessments. The results showed an acceptable statistical performance for all architectures of ANNs, with 0.001–12.41% MAPE, 0.001–5.82 mg Nm⁻³ MAE, and 0.03–52.30 mg Nm⁻³ RMSE, highlighting the high precision of the emissions studied. On average, the differences between predicted and real values for CO, CO₂, NO, and SO₂ emissions from NEB biomasses were approximately 0.01%, 10⁻⁶%, 0.14%, and 0.05%, respectively. Pearson coefficient provided consistent results of concentration of the ultimate analysis in relation to the emissions studied and effectiveness of the test set in the developed models. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

The government in Indonesia and its staff work together to make tactical steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the community. From the ministerial level to the heads of the provinces, regencies, and even the government. Therefore, this study aims to make a model decision support system to diagnose patients exposed to Covid-19, such as people in control, patients in oversight, and those who are positive for the Covid-19 Virus. Model decision support system development aims to provide information about the development of COVID- 19 and help the community in diagnosing themselves related to COVID-19 infection. In this study, the authors use the forward chaining method in application to get conclusions from the symptoms of the Covid-19. This research resulted in an application that patients exposed to the Covid-19, and it's also provided a solution for healing from patients. And this could be a reference for patients before consulting further with the doctor. © 2020 IEEE.

In this paper, we report on new findings about the results of an empirical study which aims to investigate how the COVID-19 pandemic has been shaping nomadic work practices and also challenging the lifestyles of digital nomads (DN). To do this, we collected textual data from posts in a Reddit community. We argue that, in order to understand how to design technical solutions for the so-called ‘new normal’ working conditions, one way to approach this is to understand how digital nomads are being impacted in their work practices and routines, and also how they are seeing the future of their technology-mediated work-life space. Finally, we show how evidence collected from DNs about their experiences and difficulties perceived during the pandemic period can inform CSCW researchers worldwide about future design-oriented strands.

The increasing use of IoT devices on future networks is very helpful for humans in their lives. However, the increase in devices connected to IoT networks also increases the potential for attacks against those networks. Vulnerabilities in Internet of Things (IoT) networks can be exposed at any time. Artificial intelligence can be used to protect the IoT network by being able to detect attacks on the network so that they can be prevented. In this study, network detection was carried out using the Deep Neural Network (DNN) algorithm. The test was carried out using the UNSW Bot-IoT dataset with a comparison of training data of 75% of the overall data. The results obtained show the ability of the algorithm to detect attacks on average with 99.999% accuracy. The validation loss and training loss look very small. In this study, there is a validation loss that still occurs in overfitting, but the difference is very small.
