The use of technology in learning needs to be encouraged starting from the elementary school level. Another thing that needs to be encouraged is local wisdom-based media to support character learning. This study aims to develop holobox augmented reality technology media of local wisdom of the Grebeg Pancasila rite for mathematics learning in elementary schools. This research produces multimedia based on technology Holobox Augmented Reality (AR) with the content of material Grebeg Pancasila for learning mathematics and building spaces in elementary schools. The method in media development using the Development Life Cycle developed by Luther consists of six stages, namely: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The media produced meets the standard of feasibility and can provide information and knowledge about understanding the concept of flat and space structures through the flag and gunungan symbols in the Rite Grebeg Pancasila. The implication of this study is that cultural diversity in local wisdom of the Rite Grebeg Pancasila can be used as a medium for learning mathematics in elementary schools (MI/SD) through Technology Holobox. Maternal health is a critical concern, particularly for individuals who are pregnant and will shape the future generations. However, not all expectant mothers receive tailored attention and care for their unique health needs. Consequently, many mothers face high levels of health risks during pregnancy, highlighting the importance of classifying maternal health risks. Classification can help identify influential factors affecting maternal health and predict risk levels for individual mothers. In the field of data mining, various classification methods exist for analyzing complex datasets. This study focuses on two widely used algorithms: decision tree and k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN). By employing these algorithms, we aim to classify a dataset comprising 1,014 records of maternal health risk levels. Through cross-validation and T-tests, we rigorously evaluate the performance of the decision tree and kNN algorithms in this context. Our findings indicate that the kNN algorithm is more suitable for classifying maternal health risks, achieving a significantly higher accuracy of 71.50% compared to the decision tree algorithm's accuracy of 70.71%. This result establishes the superiority of the kNN algorithm in accurately classifying maternal health risks. These findings have implications for developing targeted interventions and tailored healthcare strategies to mitigate identified risks.

Diabetic retinopathy affects millions of working-age people worldwide. Of the countries in Latin America, Brazil has the highest incidence of cases. Diabetic retinopathy is detected through images of the fundus that contain lesions such as hard exudates, soft exudates, microaneurysms, and hemorrhages. Early identification of these lesions prevents the progression of the disease, which leads to a decrease in visual capacity. In addition, the early identification of these lesions allows the screening of patients who need priority care. The detection of these lesions occurs through the processing and analysis of fundus images using deep learning models. In this work, we present a new method that uses the You Only Learn One Representation with Cross Stage Partial Network (YOLOR-CSP) architecture combined with the Slicing Aided Hyper Inference (SAHI) framework to detect lesions. The proposed method was trained, adjusted, and evaluated using the Dataset for Diabetic Retinopathy (DDR) and the Indian Diabetic Retinopathy Image Dataset (IDRiD). The proposed method obtained in the data set DDR mAP equal to 38.08%, in the validation set, and 22.25% in the test set with SGD optimizer. The presented results were superior in the detection of eye fundus lesions in comparison with similar works found in the state-of-the-art literature.

In social simulation, agents play different roles with different behaviors. Each has its goals and can cooperate or not with others and consume resources. Sometimes it is necessary to regulate these agents with mechanisms like norms that explain action limitations and how the society works for the agents. To explain how the world works for the agents, in different domains, ontologies have been used to provide human knowledge. In this sense, a more special kind of ontology is built with the legal information of a society: legal ontologies. These legal ontologies operate with concepts and data collected from human society and this can be provided to the agents. With this type of information, the agents can be assisted in monitoring and evaluating actions, comparing their beliefs with existing laws. Platforms into programming multi-agent systems provide an environment to develop the social simulations, but not always provided a connection with ontologies resources. This study proposes the AgentDevLaw middleware that integrates platforms of agents’ simulation with an existent legal ontology. The application of the software component is exemplified and tested with simulation scenarios in two agent’s environments: JaCaMo and JADE. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The production of biofuels to be used as bioenergy under combustion processes generates some gaseous emissions (CO, CO₂, NO_x, SO_x, and other pollutants), affecting living organisms and requiring careful assessments. However, obtaining such information experimentally for data evaluation is costly and time-consuming and its in situ obtaining for regional biomasses (e.g., those from Northeast Brazil (NEB) is still a major challenge. This paper reports on the application of artificial neural networks (ANNs) for the prediction of the main air pollutants (CO, CO₂, NO, and SO₂) produced during the direct biomass combustion (N₂/O₂:80/20%) with the use of ultimate analysis (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur, and oxygen). 116 worldwide biomasses were used as input data, which is a relevant alternative to overcome the lack of experimental resources in NEB and obtain such information. Cross-validation was conducted with k-fold to optimize the ANNs and performance was analyzed with the use of statistical errors for accuracy assessments. The results showed an acceptable statistical performance for all architectures of ANNs, with 0.001–12.41% MAPE, 0.001–5.82 mg Nm⁻³ MAE, and 0.03–52.30 mg Nm⁻³ RMSE, highlighting the high precision of the emissions studied. On average, the differences between predicted and real values for CO, CO₂, NO, and SO₂ emissions from NEB biomasses were approximately 0.01%, 10⁻⁶%, 0.14%, and 0.05%, respectively. Pearson coefficient provided consistent results of concentration of the ultimate analysis in relation to the emissions studied and effectiveness of the test set in the developed models. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

The development of science and technology is closely related to the quality of higher education. science and technology innovation is used as a tool to empower communities so that they can develop sustainable development. The survey results at one of Indonesia's private universities showed the low role of universities in schools as their environment. The progress of science in universities is very fast but different from the situation in the environment. This indicates an imbalance in the development of knowledge that occurs in universities with schools. Based on the results of a literature study, the smart edu design is used as an alternative solution in this regard. Smart edu is a managerial learning system innovation adapted from the smart city concept. Features in this program allow students, lecturers and teachers in the field to interact with each other. Students can assess the problem without having to go to the field on the other hand the teacher can assess the solution which is the result of learning between the student and the lecturer. Thus the learning transparency can be built through this system so that the inequality of knowledge development can be overcome. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Publication of the society's sensitive personal data in the legitimate site of the general election committee

It is highly important to protect the society's sensitive personal data. The reason is that many personal data are published by the government institution without paying attention to the prevailing regulations. In this current study, the search for the data in the form of hyperlink with its contents in the legitimate site of the General Election Committees was conducted with the assistance of Crawling Web. The obtained contents were preprocessed using the Preprocessing Text, which were then weighted using the TF-IDF method before they were classified using the Naїve Bayes method. After that, an analysis on the types of the published sensitive personal and the extent of the publication based on the area groups was conducted. Out of 6,700 instances of the personal data which were analyzed, 6.430 were published. The personal data which were published were full name, place and date of birth, religion, marital status, ID Number of the government civil servants, identity card number, number of the tax payer, account number, mobile number, e-mail, address, position, and face photo. The level of publication based on the total data found was as follows: 11.45% in the Central General Election Committee, 21.60% in the eastern area, 17.01% in the central area and 49.94% in the eastern area. The accuracy of the Naїve Bayes method averaged 96.99%. Prior to publication, the General Election Committee is recommended to respect someone's personal data as privacy and the data which would be published should obtain approval and an easily-contacted contact person.

Optimization of artificial neural networks to improve accuracy of vocational competence selection of vocational school students using nguyen-widrow

The present study used Neural Network Backpropagation combined with Nguyen-Widrow to optimize the disadvantages of ANN causes, which is the difficulty in initializing initial weights. The test was conducted on a dataset of values in semesters 1 and 2. The test results show that the best performance in training model of artificial neural networks with Nguyen-widrow is the smallest average MSE error of 0.002 and the highest average accuracy of 96.38%. Training on artificial neural network model training data with Nguyen-widrow has the smallest MSE error, 0.000996 and the highest accuracy is 97.49% on architecture ANN 9-9.1 with training function parameters: traingdx, epoch: 1000, learning rate: 0.1, and error: 0.001. The best performance was also seen in testing the testing of artificial neural network models with Nguyen-widrow with the smallest average error-MSE of 0.026 and the highest average accuracy of 87.85%. Training data testing on artificial neural network models with Nguyen-widrow has the smallest error-MSE which is 0.004436 and the highest accuracy is 94.50% on architecture ANN 9-9.1 with training function parameters: traingdx, epoch: 1000, learning rate: 0.1, and error: 0.001. The artificial neural network model with Nguyen-widrow has an accuracy difference of 8.53% smaller than the artificial neural network model with an accuracy difference of 9.28%. It can be concluded that the Artificial Neural Network with Nguyen-Widrow can overcome the ANN problem in determining initial weights so that it gives an increase in the accuracy of the prediction of students' competency selection better than the Artificial Neural Network without Nguyen-Widrow.

Evaluation of governance financial management information system (SIPKD) with framework of COBIT 5 in the government of Denpasar city

Denpasar City Government is one of the government agencies that hav implemented the Regional Financial Management Information System (SIPKD). SIPKD is an integrated application that is used as a tool for regional governments for improving the effectiveness of the implementation of various regulations in the field of regional financial management based on the principles of efficiency, economic, effective, transparent, accountable and auditable. Research Evaluation of SIPKD governance in Denpasar City Government was conducted based on the framework of the COBIT 5 (Control Objective for Information & Related Technology) framework of ISACA 2012, which was modified according to the conditions at the study site. The research method used was descriptive-quantitative evaluation and cascading evaluation method at the COBIT 5 stage, by distributing questionnaires to each admin as many as 40 respondents, to get scores in the form of numbers and conducting structured interviews with BPKAD leaders to obtain the expected capability level conditions. Evaluation of SIPKD governance with COBIT 5 uses the PAM (Process Assessment Model) analysis as a reference in determining its attributes, with the results of the capability level currently at the level 3 established process in the APO01 process of 77% achieved, APO012 of 78% achiaved, DSS04 by 77% mostly achiaved, EDM03 by 78% largely achieved, and MEA03 by 77% largely achieved, which means that in the management of SIPKD the Denpasar City Government has been well established in managing SIPKD conducted by all SIPKD administrators and operators along with BPKAD leaders in Denpasar. And the results of the interview the desired results are at level 4 predictable process.
