Armed conflicts occur in various parts of the world and result in many casualties and material losses. Weapons of mass destruction are one of the most feared weapons, along with the emergence of chemical, nuclear, radiological, biological, and explosive weapons. The use of weapons of mass destruction is prohibited, but their production is still uncontrolled making it possible for various parties such as terrorists, to easily use available chemical weapons raw materials such as triacetone triperoxide (TATP) bombs and the like. In addition, chemical weapons whose distribution in liquid or gas form is not regulated by the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) can cause long-term damage, such as the risk of permanent burns or long-term illness and even infect victims after they expire. Of course, these cases represent a threat to national security due to the irresponsible availability of chemicals to the public or what are called man-made disasters. Therefore, similar incidents need to be avoided to minimize the damage they cause. Society 5.0 can leverage information and communication technology to strengthen early detection systems and prompt responses to terrorist threats involving the misuse of chemicals as chemical weapons. This research was conducted through a systematic literature review in the form identifying, assessing, and interpreting all findings on a research topic to answer research question. The aim of this research is to analyze strategies for preventing chemicals used as chemical weapons through controlling Law Number 9 of 2008. The results of the research show that the rules regarding the control and supervision of chemicals used as chemical weapons are still being enforcedand ineffective. Indonesia in general is still vulnerable to the circulation of chemicals. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the role of all relevant stakeholders in forming and controlling the Indonesian chemical industry against the threat of dual use. © 2023 IEEE.

Information production has been growing at an accelerated rate. There is a large amount of information to be processed, which makes tasks related to the collection and explotation of text challenging, requiring effort from the most diverse areas, especially computational linguistics. One of the goals of computational linguistics is to enable the collection and explotation of linguistic datasets, through empirical evidence, extracted with the application of computational resources. This work presents the creation of dataset extracted from a newspaper. Techniques were used for extracting sentences, tokenization, named entities recognition (NER), as well as statistical methods for describing the dataset. Other researchers can directly benefit from the available corpus. This work presents a corpus with 1029 annotated news articles in Portuguese for entities according to HAREM categories. In a sample of 108 pages, our experiments show a 97.0% similarity compared to gold standard texts from the same newspaper. For the NER task and automatic annotation of the extracted dataset, proportions of the datasets of Second Harem and aTribuna100 were used to train a hybrid model CRF+LG. With the trained model, the 1029 articles extracted were automatically annotated. In general, the values of the metrics demonstrate that optimal metrics achievements for the classification model for the 70/30 Proportion, especially for the Person (PER) category, reaching 91.11% and 95.82% for precision and recall, respectively. Overall, the model showed 95.86% accuracy. © 2020 IEEE.

Eye tracking is an active multidisciplinary research field, which has shown great progress in the last decades. Eye tracking is the process of monitoring eye movements in order to determine the point of gaze or to analyze motion patterns of an eye relative to the head or the environment. This process provides essential information to tasks such as face detection, usability testing, biometric identification, human behavior studies and human-computer interaction, among others. The term remote is used whenever the eye tracker components do not have any physical contact with the user's body. In general, highly accurate commercial eye trackers are expensive. However, nowadays it is possible to develop low-cost remote eye tracking systems with off-the-shelf hardware components. By this perspective, an overview of eye tracking technologies and applications is given in this paper, and the state-of-the-art work in the field is discussed as well. Moreover, hardware components and underlying computer vision processes are also presented in this paper. © 2014 IEEE.

Multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) pose a significant threat to public health due to their ability to cause various diseases. The emergence and evolution of superbugs have been accelerated by existing drug conservation policies, hindering the development of novel antibiotics. As a result, researchers are focusing on understanding disease causation pathways and developing advanced classes of antibiotics. Despite challenges related to transparency, regulations, ethics, and technical limitations, technology such as MDRO Dual Use Quickscan shows promise in combating MDRO-based threats. This work presents a web-based tools design that incorporates a data-driven framework and utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to detect potential cases of dual-use research involving MDROs. A comprehensive literature review identified 15 questions relevant for evaluating MDRO dual-use research using the Quickscan tool. The Quickscan can be developed as a valuable tool for assessing the potential dual-use characteristics of MDRO research. It is recommended that expert opinions guide risk management in biologics and address potential perilous scenarios arising from dual-use activities. Artificial intelligence models, natural language processing techniques, and binary classification algorithms are suggested as viable options for detecting and assessing dual-use traits associated with MDROs. However, human supervision and assessment remain critical for interpreting outcomes and making informed decisions. © 2023 IEEE.

'Society 5.0' is characterized as a high degree of integration of cyberspace and physical space capable of promoting economic growth and addressing social problems in a modern information society based on cutting-edge technology advancements for data processing and knowledge creation. Recent developments in the field of biotechnology have been demonstrated by gene editing techniques, especially CRISPR-Cas9, such as basic research, applied biotechnology, and biomedical research Most biotechnology is essentially 'dual use' because its development can result in both profitable and nefarious goals, all depending on the perspective and motivation of the perpetrator. The purpose of this research is a better understanding of biosecurity, biosecurity, and bioterrorism threats, so as to provide a foundation for policymakers, researchers, and health professionals to improve global health security so as to realize effective biodefense systems. The research was conducted by library research, namely data collection with literature studies. By implementing biosafety and biosecurity laboratory measures in accordance with established guidelines and guidelines can help protect people, animals, the environment, and national security. Medical intelligence is vital to monitoring and assessing the threat of bioterrorism through the process of data collection, which is then analyzed, and data dissemination. The medical intelligence community can help protect public safety and prevent bioterrorism by understanding and implementing strong biosafety and biosecurity practices in laboratories. Bioterrorism attacks that can occur at any time must be anticipated by medical intelligence by conducting research and assessment of bioterrorism threats, analyzing information so that it can be passed on to the government to take appropriate policies to be able to detect and monitor the spread of infectious diseases quickly, and developing strategies to prevent the spread of disease. The Brimob Corps is a special police force, just like the special military detachments held by the TNI such as Paskhas and so on. At present brigade corps police national is busy being discussed in the real world and cyberspace, especially on social media twitter. Many opinions about the brigade corps police national so there are positive and negative opinions. Social media twitter is now one places to spread information about brigade corps police national. This study cases uses text mining techniques with support vector machine (SVM) method which aims to classify public sentiments towards brigade corps police national on twitter. The dataset used is tweet in Indonesian with keyword "Brimob" with a total dataset of 1000 tweets. Text mining, transform, tokenize, stemming, and classification, etc. techniques are useful for building classification and analysis of sentiment. RapidMiner and Gataframework are also used to help create sentiment analysis to measure classification values. Accuracy values obtained with support vector machine (SVM) approach 86,96%, with precision values of 86,96%, and recall values of 86,96%. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Given a set of underwater sensors coordinates that are usually determined by a specialist for the design of a watershed monitoring system, where should be placed the sinks and the base station? The answer may be the minimization of the Variable Internode Distance. In such cases, a two dimensional architecture is acceptable because it is a shallow water system. Hence, in this paper, it is proposed a two-level node distance minimization for Underwater Wireless Sensor Network for monitoring systems. The mathematical method employed for optimization is the Hyperbolic Smoothing approach and the proposed method includes the placement of the base-station in the algorithm. Copyright 2014 ACM.

The aim purposed of this research is to evaluate clinical management information system called (E-CLINIC) which is integrated with the Primary Care (Pcare) application provided by Indonesia sosial healt insurance organization called BPJS Kesehatan to first level of health cares facility called as FKTP. This evaluation is intended to measure the maturity level on used of two integrated applications using COBIT 4.1 framework. The integration of the Clinic's management information system with PCare is considered to be the main resource that has strategic value to be able to manage information effectively and efficiently for the achievement of organizational goals. The results achieved have been running in accordance with the organization's business objectives, this can be seen from the level of maturity that reaches level 3 (Defined), which is a condition in which the organization has formal and written standard procedures that have been socialized to all levels of management and employees to be obeyed and run in daily activities. © 2019 IEEE.

In social simulation, agents play different roles with different behaviors. Each has its goals and can cooperate or not with others and consume resources. Sometimes it is necessary to regulate these agents with mechanisms like norms that explain action limitations and how the society works for the agents. To explain how the world works for the agents, in different domains, ontologies have been used to provide human knowledge. In this sense, a more special kind of ontology is built with the legal information of a society: legal ontologies. These legal ontologies operate with concepts and data collected from human society and this can be provided to the agents. With this type of information, the agents can be assisted in monitoring and evaluating actions, comparing their beliefs with existing laws. Platforms into programming multi-agent systems provide an environment to develop the social simulations, but not always provided a connection with ontologies resources. This study proposes the AgentDevLaw middleware that integrates platforms of agents’ simulation with an existent legal ontology. The application of the software component is exemplified and tested with simulation scenarios in two agent’s environments: JaCaMo and JADE. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
