Develop new games without having to start from scratch has been made possible by using game engines, since they offer a number of specialized components and optimized functions which are common in games. However, one realizes that process simulation games have not taken advantage of these technologies. This paper aims to demonstrate the results of the development of a software process simulation component called Software Process Simulator Machine (SPSM), which focuses on help and motivate software process educational game development through the addressing of main generic requirements for process simulation software.

Research on wheeled soccer robots has been carried out by several researchers. This is due to the existence of national and international competitions. Previous research was to create a ball position transformation system with a modified method of neural network architecture. This research was developed by building an intelligent transformation system with the Tensorflow library. This transformation system aims to be able to directly measure the distance of objects in real terms without first changing the environmental image from an omni field to a flat plane with conventional camera calibration techniques. This process can replace manual calibration with a variety of field size changes The system can transform with mean error 0.0000026 on epoch 10000 using 'conda-tensorflowneural network' libraries. It can transform the position of the ball from the omni space to the cartesian space. This system was implemented on wheeled soccer robot as keeper. © 2021 IEEE.

In this article we deal with total transmit power minimization problem in SC-FDMA system constrained to Quality of Service (QoS) and user satisfaction constraints. Through algebraic manipulations we were able to convert an integer nonlinear optimization problem in an Integer Linear Problem (ILP) so as to obtain the optimal solution. Motivated by the high computational to obtain the optimal solution, we propose a low computational complexity suboptimal solution. The results obtained through computational simulations show that the proposed solution presents satisfactory results regarding both outage rate and energy consumption. © 2018 IEEE.

Stroke is a neurological syndrome that may cause severe cognitive and motor impairments for survival. Alternative rehabilitation techniques have been developed to recover lower-limb movements and gait of post-stroke patients, such as Motor Imagery (MI)-based Brain-computer Interfaces (BCIs), Virtual Reality (VR), and robotic devices. Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS) is a non-invasive technique to stimulate the brain and modulate cortical excitability. This study aims to analyze the short-term effects of tDCS compared to sham stimulation before a lower-limb MI-BCI pedaling training (through a robotic monocycle) task in a patient with subacute stroke. We studied a post-stroke patient with 2 months of ischemic stroke and right hemiparesis who was submitted to the following tasks: active pedaling, sham tDCS and MI-BCI, and tDCS and MI-BCI. This paper focuses on the problem of minimum time trajectory planning for helicopter UAVs. It is formulated as a nonlinear optimal control subject to the dynamics and limitations of helicopter UAVs. The dynamical system is defined by a set of fifteen states nonlinear differential equations developed for HeLion, a UAV helicopter constructed in National University of Singapore (NUS). The problem is then solved numerically using pseudospectral method for dynamic optimization. The results show that minimum time trajectories are highly nonlinear that require complicated maneuvering. © 2011 IEEE.

The main purpose of this paper is to present the combination of the renewable energy generation and power conditioners benefits in microgeneration systems. This is done through a Voltage Source Converter (VSC) used to maximize the efficiency of a photovoltaic (PV) solar array and, at the same time, filtering the harmonic currents of non-linear loads present in consumer units equipped with distributed microgeneration. In this way, the VSC is used to implement the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm and act as a Shunt Active Filter (SAF), forming a so-called PV-SAF system. The main strategy of the proposed system is to maximize the operating range of the DC bus voltage to perform current harmonic filtering and enable maximum power tracking satisfactorily using the p-v curve over a wide operating range. The proposed PV-SAF system uses a three-phase single-stage topology and can track the maximum power point (MPP) even in partial shading condition (PSC). The PSIM software is used to perform the simulations of the proposed PV-SAF system, the simulation results validate the control strategy that is capable of performing the reactive power compensation, current harmonics filtering and active power management produced by a PV array. © 2018 IEEE.

Natural disasters, particularly earthquakes, can cause the electric power system to collapse, which can be brought on by one of the infrastructure breakdowns in the power system. Damaged power system can cause losses to electricity providers, electricity users, so it is necessary to understand the vulnerability of electric power system assets to earthquakes. The research fragility function presents the concept of fragility function in power system of the entire power system, showed fragility of power plant, transmission line, tower transmission, transformers, generator, and substation. Substation is more fragile than the others because substation consist of circuit breaker and disconnecting switch the most fragile asset. In addition, this paper also presents how to creating the fragility function and several solutions to increase the resilience of the electric power system to earthquakes. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, the influence of different Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs) on the fault response of a grid-following (GFL) Inverter-Based Resource (IBR) is evaluated. The analyzed IBR represents a wind power plant with rated power equal to 100 MVA, being composed of 50 turbines with 2 MVA each, whose controls follow the Brazilian grid code. Two PLL models are taken into account to conduct the proposed studies, which include the analysis of voltage and frequency estimated by each PLL, and currents injected into the IBR interconnection transmission line. The Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF) PLL and the Quadrature Signal Generator-based Second-Order Generalized Integrator (QSG-SOGI) PLL are considered, assessing their influence under different transmission line fault scenarios. The obtained results indicate that the PLL can present severe instabilities during faults, which can be more or less critical depending on the fault type and on the PLL type. Indeed, the results reveal that different PLLs can result in distinct behaviors of currents injected into the interconnection line, raising the importance of knowing the PLL structures when studies on IBR fault responses are of interest. © 2024 IEEE.

Osteoarthritis is a progressive degenerative joint disease characterized by damage to joint cartilage and structural joint diarthrodial. As many as 80% of osteoarthritis patients will experience movement limitations, and 25% cannot carry out daily activities. At present, the stages of osteoarthritis diagnosis are through visual observations of the narrowing of joint and osteophyte gaps contained in X-ray images through the observation of radiology and assessing the severity of disorders. This study proposes a CAD (computer-Aided Design) support system to detect knee osteoarthritis based on X-ray images with deep learning (DL) techniques. In the design of the CAD-related architecture evaluation, including ResNet, VggNet, EfficientNet, and InceptionV3 in building a predictive model using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) based on Mobile Application and Cloud Computing to be able to classify normal knee and knee osteoarthritis with the percentage of testing accuracy each architecture is 93.17% on ResNet, 95.26% on VggNet, 94.64% in InceptionV3 and 96.59% on EfficientNet. The number of heart transplants is constantly increasing. Each year, it grows by around 60% due to the health problems plaguing the world's population. Furthermore, the lack of available transplanted organs and the waiting list greatly increases and can last for years. All these reasons make it increasingly difficult to get a heart transplant. Solutions such as artificial organs are gaining more and more prominence and are in great demand. Considering the advancement of science and technology, new research shows great hope in prolonging and improving the quality of life for many patients. Among these researches is the Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), which uses auxiliary pumps along with the natural heart of the person, allowing a longer waiting time in the transplant queue and giving a quality of life. This work aims to implement autonomous electronic control over this device, allowing autonomous speed control over the pump motor. This method gives patients better control and greater freedom to practice their daily lives. Another important reason is the economic factor, which aims to reduce costs and allow greater popular reach. In this work, the tests were carried out on only the Brushless Direct Current Motor (BLDC). The results are demonstrated in numerical and graphic form for better illustration.
