This paper proposes a resilience enhancement method fordistribution networks that comprehensively considers the equilibrium of multi-agent interests, aiming to improve the resilience of distribution networks under extreme events. The method makes full use of user-level Integrated Energy systems (IES) to enhance the resilience of the distribution network. First, the paper investigates the game relationships between IES aggregators, IES, and the distribution network, fully considering the interests anddemands of each participant. To address the power shortfall issue in the distribution network during extreme events, a bi-level Stackelberg game model considering multi-agent interests is established. Second, the paper applies an improved AdMM algorithm to solve the complex game problem. The improved AdMM algorithm proposed in this paper can yieldresults in a shorter time, with a 39.5% improvement in computation speed, making it more efficient and advantageous in solving the problem presented in this paper. Finally, through case study analysis, it is demonstrated that the proposed method can significantly improve the resilience of the distribution network under extreme events while satisfying the interests of all agents.

With the continuous expansion of distribution network construction, there are higherrequirements for improving the construction level of distribution networks. It is urgent to address common issues, consolidate the theoretical foundation, and enhance practical applications to support the increasing investment in distribution network projects. This paper takes the power supply unit as the basic unit, clarifies the principles fordividing the supply units, and coordinates the needs of various specialties within the distribution network. From multiple dimensions, a diagnostic index system is formulated, resulting in an effective evaluation model for analyzing distribution networks. By setting target values for various indicators of different levels of power supply units, the analysis focuses on the current grid structure, operational status, and equipment health of the distribution network. It identifies shortcomings by comparing them with target values, improving the evaluation effect of the standard grid structure of the distribution network. Targeted improvement measures are proposed to guide planning and investment directions, promoting steady improvement in distribution network construction quality and supply reliability, and enhancing the precision and scientific nature of distribution network project planning and investment.

Although Voltage Source Converters based on HVdC (VSC-HVdC) systems have several advantages, they are vulnerable to dC fault currents. Concerning the inherent characteristics of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) material, using HTS in the fault current limiter could be a solution to limit the current in VSC-HVdC. The present paper seeks to provide an elaborately bettersolution to the problem mentioned above of the fault currents than what has previously been proposed. The object of this research is a modified flux coupling type superconductor fault current limiter (MFC-SFCL) to attenuate the fault current in VSC-HVdC network. The principle mechanism and operation of the SFCL and VSC-HVdC systems are modeled in detail, involving interplay or synergy between electrical and thermal properties. The simulation results demonstrate that the purposed MFC-SFCL has the proper function to mitigate the fault current.

With growing levels of distributed energy resources (dEr), effective assessment anddesign of active distributionsystems increasingly depend upon access to models that accurately represent the various dEr and their controls. However, as dEr technologies continue to rapidly evolve, along with the analysis needed to capture their impacts on the system, there is an increasing need for benchmark models that can serve as a common reference by distribution engineers, vendors, academia, and other industry stakeholders. This paper provides an update on the work by CIGrE Working Group C6.36: “distributed Energy resource Models for Impact Assessment” to identify a set of benchmark dEr models for quasi-static time-series load flow (QSTS) simulations, increasingly used to evaluate active distributionsystem impacts and performance. These benchmark models can be used by the industry to understand and verify the performance of existing models as well as serve as a reference for further modifications and enhancements. This paperdiscusses the working groups proposeddEr benchmark model framework, which specifies the dEr benchmark model hierarchy andrequirements. Additionally, initial efforts in developing benchmark models for PV systems, energy storage systems, and smart inverters are presented along with the lessons learned and future work.

This paperreviews the various reported studies detailing the various policies enacted by the governments of Germany, India, denmark, Pakistan, and Australia to foster the growth of renewable energy. These policies encompass measures such as tax incentives, loans, feed-in tariffs, and similar initiatives aimed at incentivizing renewable energy development. The countries have been chosen due to the different types of policy frameworks that each has implemented and the contrasting contextual circumstances that can act as a lead for the other countries in the pursuit of effective rE policy. The study examines how the policies affected the development of rE in these nations, as well as many guidelines guiding the financing, investment, and tariff structure techniques forrE projects.
