In this paper,the sensitivity of wavelength to temperature changes was quantitatively evaluated based on bisphenol-A spectral data distributed between 20-70℃,and a temperature correction method for local spectral bands was proposed based on this ***,by analyzing the influence of different wavelength variables on the spectral-temperature model,the sensitivity of wavelength to temperature changes was quantified using an influence ***,the feasibility of using a single wavelength point to correct the entire spectral band was discussed,based on the inherent characteristics of absorbance changes with temperature in different spectral ***,by combining the quantified sensitivity with the inherent characteristics,correction for spectral offset in the target band was achieved,and the effectiveness of the proposed method was validated.

This article addresses the challenge of optimizing performance in a fragmentation blockchain system for industrial Internet of things (IIOT) applications. It introduces an enhanced version of the traditional Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) known as the Chaotic Whale Optimization Algorithm. This enhanced algorithm is designed to optimize the parameters of the fragmentation blockchain system with the goal of maximizing real-time memory utilization in the fragmentation nodes while minimizing block consensus time. The proposed method identifies optimal blockchain system parameters within diverse network environments, taking into account factors such as node computing power and inter-node transmission rates. To mitigate the issue of local optima inherent in traditional algorithms, the Chaotic Whale Optimization Algorithm transforms the optimization problem in a more intuitive manner. This algorithm strikes a fine balance between diversity and convergence. The effectiveness of this method is assessed through simulation experiments, with results indicating its superior performance compared to alternative approaches. Overall, the approach presented in this article significantly reduces consensus time within the fragmentation blockchain system and enhances real-time memory utilization in the fragmented blocks.

Frequency-Based Estimation of the B-H Curve of Steel Strips in a Continuous Induction Furnace*

A parameter estimation strategy for continuous inductive heating of ferromagnetic steel strips is developed and investigated. During strip processing in an induction furnace, the parameters of the magnetization curve (B-H curve) of the strip material are identified by a moving horizon estimator (MHE). This estimator uses measurements of the resonance frequency of the electric circuit. A tailored 2D harmonic model of the electromagnetic subsystem is used to calculate the complex coil impedance. Other model parameters are identified in a scenario, where the magnetization curve of the strip is known. The approach does not require a thermal model of the induction furnace in favor of the computing time and the achieved accuracy. For model validation, the simulated resonance frequency is compared with measurements. To avoid a high computational effort, the effective magnetization approach is applied to approximate the solution of the nonlinear Maxwell equations. The effective B-H curve is mathematically expressed in terms of a linear and an exponential function and parametrized by two parameters. The MHE is validated in a test scenario using a strip with a known magnetization curve.

The article discusses the theoretical foundations of the design of a single-channel ultrahigh frequency moisture meter with direct measurement of the moisture content of bulk materials. In accordance with the requirements of the methodology for selecting efficiency criteria, it is necessary to develop structural diagrams of measuring devices. For these purposes, the standard deviation of the random error is determined, characterizing the accuracy. It includes the main components: sensitivity error, zero error and additive component. Mathematical models of structures are constructed and the standard deviation of random errors, which are caused by certain parameters and additive fluctuations, is calculated. A single-parameter ultrahigh-frequency method for determining the moisture content is proposed. This method provides high accuracy of a single-channel ultrahigh frequency moisture meter with direct measurement of the moisture content of bulk materials. The measuring device can be used in the agricultural industry, where humidity is one of the important parameters, starting with harvesting and ending with the release of finished products.

Leading space agencies and companies identified the utilization of local resources as foundation for the continuous long-term exploration of the solar system within the Global Exploration Roadmap. In-Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU) will be one of the key technologies for sustainable space exploration and habitation missions to Moon, Mars and beyond. Defined production systems based on hydrogen value chains are utilized as essential building blocks to transform the available resources into valuable elements for energy, propulsion, life support or production systems. The current research at TU Dresden addresses the engineering of ISRU systems using a modular plant concept of standardized, interchangeable and reusable modules. The development, production and automation processes are defined based on the existing standards on modular process plants (VDI 2776) and modular automation (VDI/VDE/NAMUR 2658) for terrestrial application. Therein, a module called process Equipment Assembly (PEA) realizes unit operations which are interconnected to form different plant configurations that enable flexible production paths. These standardized architectures and concepts are adapted to the requirements of space utilization. Compared to currently developed highly specialized single use systems, a modular plant approach according to these standards allows the flexible application to different mission requirements and environmental conditions. In advance, modular plants minimize the development effort and risk, lead to a lowered market entry threshold for small and medium-sized enterprises from diverse market sectors and encourage commercial competition between manufacturers. This paper includes initial research work as a foundation for the future development process of modular ISRU process plants. Models resulting from the application of the finite element method (FEM) are usually high dimensional, thus in general preventing the application of optimal control concepts under real-time conditions. In this work a system consisting of the heat equation defined on a 3-dimensional domain with local in-domain thermal actuators is considered, whose modeling results in a coupled PDE-ODE description. Based on simulation data, a data driven reduced order model is determined using the Dynamic Mode Decomposition with control (DMDc). Based on the DMDc model a model predictive control (MPC) approach with state estimator is developed to realize a desired temperture profile on the given domain. The concept is evaluated involving the high-dimensional finite element model as plant model.

Neural learning control for discrete-time nonlinear systems in pure-feedback form

This study focuses on state-feedback and output-feedback neural learning control problems for discrete-time nonlinear systems in the pure-feedback form. First, an extended result for the exponential stability for a class of discrete-time linear time-varying(LTV) systems with n-step delays is proposed to verify the exponential convergence of estimated weights. Subsequently, both state-feedback and outputfeedback adaptive neural network(NN) controllers are constructed by combining the classical n-step and n-step input-output predictors. After ensuring convergence of the system output to a recurrent reference signal, the radial basis function subvector of NN is verified to satisfy the persistent exciting condition using the system state equation and the implicit function theorem. By combining the extended stability corollary of an LTV system, the estimated weights are verified to exponentially converge to their optimal values. By constructing "learning rules" and using a "mod" function, the estimated weights with a convergent sequence are synthetically represented and stored as the experience knowledge, which is reused to construct neural learning controllers. The proposed neural learning controllers not only accomplish similar control tasks but also reduce the burden of online computation compared with the conventional adaptive NN ***, simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the presented schemes.

Domain-specific Natural Language processing (NLP) tasks need prepared, ground-truth data. However, practical constraints make this task challenging. Domain engineers, who are the subject matter experts, are required to create high-quality training data. However, their availability is limited because they are busy with their day-to-day high-priority project and organizational tasks. Moreover, the data needed to be annotated to train NLP models may not be available at the outset itself. As the prepared data grows, NLP models should take advantage of the new data and train improved machine learning models. Hence, in this paper, we present KIKO, a domain-specific continuous learning NLP framework that allows domain engineers to perform annotations on one document at a time, and retraining when a large enough collection of documents becomes available. KIKO is made of several tools that pipeline together to process documents from the industrial domain. The pipeline enables parsing, pattern-matching, annotation, training, relationship mining, and continuous learning based retraining of the model by using a weaker form of active learning.
