Revolutionizing COVID-19 Management: Block chain-Enabled Prediction and Secure Storage using Deep Learning Techniques

The proposed research presents a blockchain-based healthcare system that seeks to address the limitations of current data-sharing methods by providing secure and efficient data transfer, enhancing data privacy and security, enabling effective data sharing interoperability, and promoting data-driven healthcare decision-making. A blockchain platform, IPFS, and rule-based access control are among the technologies suggested for use in the proposed system. Implementing this system could result in more personalized and effective medication for patients, as well as lower healthcare costs and improved care quality. The suggested approach, known as the Homomorphic Zero-Knowledge Blockchain Algorithm (HZBA), employs a block chain technique linked with Proxy Re Encryption with Homomorphic with Zero proof knowledge. Finally, the Covid19-dataset has collected from Kaggle repository and HCDNN method has used to complete the classification. The proposed blockchain-based healthcare system has the potential to revolutionize healthcare by resolving data privacy and security concerns, increasing data accuracy, fostering more interoperability in data sharing, and enhancing data-driven healthcare decision-making. The proposed blockchain-based healthcare system provides potential answers to data sharing difficulties in the healthcare business. One potential disadvantage is the system's complexity and cost of installation. The experimental results and classification performance parameters have been thoroughly demonstrated

Accurate performance prediction of cloud workloads is essential for optimizing resource allocation, meeting service level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring efficient cloud service delivery. In this research paper, we conduct a comparative analysis of the ARIMA (Auto Regressive and Integrated Moving Average) time series model with other popular techniques for cloud workloads performance prediction. Relative or decision reducts belong with mechanisms dedicated to feature selection, and they are embedded in rough set approach to data processing. Algorithms for reduct construction typically aim at dimensionality reduction aspect, searching for smallest reducts, which are considered as the most advantageous from the point of view of knowledge representation. However, classifiers build on reduced data models, based on reducts, can significantly vary in performance. Therefore, to ensure quality of predictions, other characteristics of reducts, apart from their cardinalities, need to be taken into account. The paper presents research in which estimation of reduct quality through their characteristics was reflected in calculation of the proposed weighting factors leading to attribute rankings. These rankings were next employed in the process of filtering decision rules, inferred by classic rough set approach. Constructed rule-based classifiers were applied in the stylometric domain to solve a task of authorship attribution.

Stylometric analysis of texts relies on learning characteristic traits of writing styles for authors. Once these patterns are discovered, they can be compared to the ones present in other text samples, to recognise their authorship. This recognition can be compromised if input datasets are prepared without taking into consideration possible stratification of the input space, leading to specific grouping of datapoints, or sub-classes within distinguished classes. The paper shows research dedicated to construction of various structures of input datasets, and combinations of such structures between train and test sets. In the research the influence of different stratification forms on the performance of selected popular classification systems was observed. To minimise the number of influencing factors, a task of authorship attribution was performed as binary classification with balanced classes. Stylometric descriptors exploited belonged to lexical and syntactic group, giving frequencies of occurrence for chosen style-markers. It resulted in real-valued attributes and these values were explored without applying discretisation, in order to avoid the possible bias of this procedure on observations.

This paper aims to provide a complete voice-controlled home by automating the operations of the home appliances via the user’s mobile phone. The mobile application in the person’s mobile phone is connected to the Raspberry Pi 3 board which serves as an assemblage between the user and the home appliances. The home appliances that serve as the "proof-of-concept" in this paper include a bulb, fan, and air conditioner. The user logs in into his mobile application, gives in a voice command which is comprehended using natural language processing (NLP) and is directed to the Raspberry Pi 3 board. The mobile application on the phone is the central console that decides which appliance is the one to be operated. The Raspberry Pi 3 board will send an acknowledgment for the successful reception of the command and subsequently perform the command on the corresponding home appliance. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Research in terms of security in vehicular architecture has been a focal point of deliberation in the automotive sector. The Automotive industry development has continuously evolved the scenario of adding more integration to networked vehicles or semi-autonomous vehicles. The end product of such manufacturing practices is a vehicle becoming a networked computer on wheels. In spite of providing numerous advantages, these developments in the automotive industry are also bringing more challenges in terms of security. Hence, the industry has been forced to emphasise the principle of Security by Design. Efforts in this direction have resulted in the formulation of the ISO/SAE 21434 standard. In this work, we focus on summarising the ISO/SAE 21434 standard and analysing its relevance for automotive architecture development. Related works in the standard's approach of Security by Design are summarised. Additionally, we propose an application work of the standard in the context of automotive Architecture development as future work.

Over the past decade, the rise of broadband and mobile Internet access has led to the widespread adoption of real-time networking and multimedia applications. These platforms have become essential for connecting individuals and supporting businesses, particularly with the growing trend of remote work. The demand for video streaming services has surged significantly and is expected to continue rising. However, this increased traffic has strained network performance, leading to congestion and diminishing the quality of service, especially during peak evening hours and the COVID-19 pandemic. Besides upgrading network infrastructure, it is crucial to develop intelligent streaming systems that adapt to network conditions and user expectations to enhance customer satisfaction. This review paper explores into the basics and introduction of Multimedia and Real-Time Networking. It also explores the advancements in Adaptive and Intelligent Networking for real-time multimedia communication. The paper formulates research questions based on the discussed topics, such as the distinctions between real-time networking and traditional networking, the ways multimedia applications adjust to fluctuating network conditions, and the challenges and limitations associated with these technologies.

Disasters can be mitigated by an early warning signal and proper communication within the hazardous environment using the MANET technology. However, the exact prediction of disaster situation is needed for the timely disaster management. Hence in addition to MANET technology, deep learning algorithms and Inter of Things (IoT) can also be integrated into disaster detection and communication systems. The presented research developed a novel parallely distributed slimmable neural network with orchard algorithm for the accurate flood disaster prediction. The model processed the dataset containing various measurements such as temperature, humidity, precipitation, air, soil moisture and rainfall level that are collected by the IoT sensor deployed in the various location of the hazardous environment. The gathered data are initially pre-processed using the correlation coefficient min-max normalization approach. Further, the relevant characteristics of the flood disaster from the data are extracted through spike driven transformer process. These refined and dimensionality reduced data are then entered into the proposed framework for the disaster prediction. Here the integrated orchard algorithm increased the disaster monitoring accuracy on the basis of better optimized parameters. The model resulted 95% accuracy, 93% precision, 94% recall and 96% f-score. Therefore, the presented method is an effective prediction mechanism for the disaster management in IoT MANET.

This paper presents an application of a mixture of Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) as a tool for verification of IoT fuel sensors. The IoT fuel sensors report the level of fuel in tanks of a petrol station, and are a key component for monitoring system reliability (billing), safety (fuel/oil leak detection) and security (theft prevention). We propose an algorithm for learning a mixture of HMMs based on a continual learning principle, i.e. it adapts the model while monitoring a sensor over time, signalling unexpected or anomalous sensor reports. We have tested the proposed approach on a real-life data of 15 fuel tanks being monitored with the FuelPrime system, where it has shown a very good performance (average area under ROC curve of 0.94) of detecting anomalies in the sensor data. Additionally we show that the proposed method can be used for trend monitoring and present qualitative analysis of the short and long term learning performance. The proposed method has promising performance score, the resulting model has a high degree of explainability, limited memory and computation requirements and can be easily generalized to other domains of sensor verification. © 2023 Polish Information Processing Society.
