As social beings, humans like to interact with each other, including other creatures of God, such as animals, and keep them as pets. Many pets, such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits, and so on, include unusual pets such as reptiles, pigs, insects, etc. As a result of the lack of human awareness of pets and the nature of keeping animals, which is only for fun, it is not soulful to keep animals. So when people are bored, they abandon their pets, which causes new problems in human life today. In this case, we created a mobile application that can be shared with pet lovers where they can share information about abandoned pets and the possibility of owning pets from these abandoned pets. Mobile applications were designed using use case diagrams to show business processes, class diagrams to show database models, and user interfaces to present a similar interface to users. This mobile application will become a platform that can gather all people who care about pets and make pets a part of humans. © 2024 IEEE.

This research explores the optimization of digital talent in advanced industries, particularly in the context of rapid digital transformation. Despite the increasing importance of digital talent for gaining a competitive edge, several challenges persist. In Indonesia, for example, there is a significant shortage of digitally skilled workers, with the World Bank reporting a gap of 9 million skilled individuals over the past 15 years. Additionally, artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to impact 9.5 million jobs, further exacerbating the demand for digital skills. Furthermore, the employability of graduates remains low, largely due to inadequate training, poor language proficiency, and limited cultural sensitivity. Many companies face difficulties in finding qualified individuals, quickly upskilling their workforce, and fostering an innovative organizational culture. This study seeks to evaluate the factors influencing digital talent performance in the context of these challenges. It examines seven key variables: digital readiness, digital technology adoption, relevance of AI, digital skills, individual performance, problem-solving ability, and overall digital talent performance. Hypotheses were tested using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data was collected from 378 participants, primarily students with STEM backgrounds, in the Jabodetabek area of Indonesia in November 2024. The findings reveal that all hypotheses are significant, with results indicating that user satisfaction and the perceived value of digital talent in Indonesia have a notable impact on continued usage intentions in digital roles. © 2024 IEEE.

Natural catastrophes have become one of the hottest subjects as a result of the harm they have caused to human structures. In recent years, research pertaining to the discipline of building damage assessment (BDA), which seeks to study the effect of damage on structures, has grown substantially. This bibliometric study seeks to determine the state of the art in the subject of Building Damage Assessment Using Deep Learning by examining several papers. The method used (Donthu et al., 202) divides the steps of bibliometric analysis into four parts: identifying the field of research to be analyzed, identifying the methods used in bibliometric analysis, collecting research data with similar fields, and executing and analyzing the results of bibliometric analysis on the collected data. In the data collecting and analysis portion (Garza-Reyes, 2015), the identification of data search keywords, the execution of data searches, the enhancement of search results, statistical data processing, and data analysis are carried out. Several research questions pertaining to trends, influences, themes, authors, and other crucial components of doing research in the area of building damage assessment are answered using these techniques. The outcome is the mapping and resolution of all research problems, as well as the acquisition of bibliometric analysis-related data. The provided findings have been mapped into several types of visualization, including network % clustering graphs, overlay graphs, and density graphs, as well as other forms of visualization that will aid researchers in comprehending the study circumstances in the field. It is envisaged that this bibliometric study would make it simpler for scholars to do research in related topics. © 2022 IEEE.

Students 'attendance in class is one important success parameter in face-to-face learning processes. Conventional attendance systems, such as paper-based attendance sheets or identity card systems, require a long time in the manual recapitulation process. Without additional verifications, even computer vision-based methods are prone to fraudulent practices by the students instead of gaining their excitement and attention in a class. To stimulate students' attention in a class, this work designs an intelligent class attendance system, in which facial pattern and smile recognition are implemented by using the latter as an additional task-based verification to reduce the risks of fake attendance. For the face recognition module, this pilot study used FaceNet as a feature extractor combined with SVM for classification, whereas the Haar cascade algorithm is used for recognizing smiles. This face recognition pipeline was implemented as a service installed on minicomputers or Internet of Things (IoT) devices in each classroom and connected to an IP camera. Every recorded attendance will be sent as a notification to a mobile application for students that requires their active participation to confirm it with a smiling self-photo. The proposed pipeline obtained 92.86% accuracy on the test data, and 66.67% accuracy when evaluated in a real-life simulation setting through the implemented system. The lower accuracy in the simulation indicated that further improvements are indispensable, especially since the model obtained 28.57% False Negative Rate. Future studies will need to acquire more data and experiment with more efficient methods of attendance verification. © 2023 IEEE.

Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is a brain disorder that causes dementia and affects the memory, cognitive, and behavioral function. Early detection for AD can help to reduce the symptoms and slow down AD progression. Deep learning, particularly Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), a component of artificial intelligence, has demonstrated efficacy in resolving image-related issues and has gained widespread use in the analysis of medical images. CNN works well on large datasets, however, in imbalanced datasets, it can perform poorly by misclassifying minority classes. In this study, the random over-sampling technique is used to address the imbalance in the dataset, while Albumentations is used for image augmentation to prevent overfitting. The results demonstrate that the combination of these techniques leads to improved classification performance compared to traditional approaches. The proposed method has the potential to improve the accuracy of AD diagnosis and contribute to the development of effective treatments for this debilitating condition. © 2023 IEEE.

Nyctophobia is a phobia of the dark and is common among children but also found in adults. While the phobia itself is commonly known, the diversity of its treatment is still minimal. As technology has reached its highest point, numerous inventions and innovations have emerged in the medical sector. This study aimed to examine the usability of Virtual Reality and Keyboard and Mouse as an interface using the Extended Reality Game Usability Questionnaire (XR-GUQ) in Nyctophobia therapy and to analyze the heart rate response, impact, and implications using t-test Paired/Wilcoxon Signed Rank. Thirty-four Bina Nusantara University students from various backgrounds completed the test using interfaces and a smartwatch. They were divided into two groups, high- and low fear, using the modified Acrophobia Questionnaire (AQ), which resulted in a significant difference. The XR-GUQ result was insignificant in all variables, which indicates similar usability scores on both interfaces. The t-test Paired/Wilcoxon Signed Rank test revealed a significant difference between the high- and low-fear groups when using the Virtual Reality interface compared to the Keyboard and Mouse interface. This significant difference was found within each group regardless of the interface used. This research shows similar scores in terms of usability but a significant difference in heart rate response with the help of a serious game to give a new sensation of phobia therapy.

In the digital era, the demand for quick access to goods (q-Commerce) has driven retail companies to develop online shopping applications, aiming to attract more consumers. To cater to the demands of q-Commerce, specialized mobile applications that prioritize fast delivery and user-friendly experiences are crucial. However, developing and maintaining these applications present challenges in terms of speed of development and security. This research focuses on a retail company, PT X, with a q-Commerce application serving 3.5 million active users monthly. The research aims to assess PT X's capability maturity level in application development governance using the COBIT 2019 Capability Maturity Model. Additionally, the study investigates the differences in assessment methods between COBIT 2019 and previous versions. The findings contribute to understanding in which level of capability maturity that companies can achieve in developing quick commerce applications with a large user base. Findings of this research provides an overview for PT X to initiate the necessary initial steps to comply with the good application development according to COBIT 2019 standard. This research also highlights to future researchers that COBIT 2019 is primarily a framework for enterprise-level assessment and need to be adjusted to be suitable for measurements below the enterprise level. © 2023 IEEE.

Predicting the best-quality of rice phenotypes is the priority among agricultural researchers to fulfill worldwide food security. Trend development of predictive models from statistics to machine learning is the subject of this review. Gathered from the Google Scholar database, 14 appropriate papers (2016-2020) related to the rice phenotypes prediction were selected through title and abstract content filtering. The outputs show that Support Vector Machine, Multi-layer Perceptron, and regression are the most used models, while yield is the priority prediction point besides tiller, panicle, and 1000-grain weight of rice. However, finding the accurate predictor is invariably challenging due to distinct rice varieties in the world and high confounding factors. Thus, developing an advanced deep learning model that accommodates these needs is worth considering further. © 2023 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.

Recently, image forgery has become an alarming trend with the growth of available easy-to-use editing and generation tools. Modern DeepFake methods have achieved extraordinary progress in realistic face manipulation, thus raising concerns among the public about the misuse of such technologies. Unfortunately, with the obnoxiously wide range of possible manipulation and artifact-covering methods, most existing state-of-the-art detection methods lack the generalization capability to handle the output variations. To address this issue, a noticeable shift towards using attention mechanisms has emerged using balanced portions of the latest challenging datasets to detect intra-and inter-spatial relations. Our paper provides a comprehensive analysis of modern deep learning-based methods, showing the benefits of the shift. In addition, we make propositions for future research directions and dataset-building methodology. © 2023 IEEE.
