This study aims to develop a product such as "Digital storytelling of physics (DiS-Phy)" that can be used as a physics' educational media for distance learning (PJJ) on magnetic field material. DiS-Phy developed as a digital storytelling media which is able to combine several learning media such as writing, pictures and learning videos in one medium. The developed DiS-Phy also equipped with scientific literacy questions. DiS-Phy can be accessed on all types of distance learning devices such as smartphones, laptops and tablets that are connected to the internet. DiS-Phy including the type of research and development (Research & Development) which refers to the ASSURE model. The result of validation test shows the percentages of 91,07%, according to subject-matter expert, 93,16%, according to media expert and 87,50% according to learning expert. DiS-Phy also tested by 4 physics teachers at senior high school in Jakarta that achieved 92,57% points that make this product has been qualified as a worthy physics' distance learning device. Also of 35 as respondents in this study shows the percentages of 87,48% points that make this product worthy to use as an educational media. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the DiS-Phy has been qualified as a worthy physics' distance learning device for teachers and students.

The maternal mortality rate because of cesarean delivery is still high caused by lack of knowledge of pregnant women about the high risk of pregnancy. Cesarean delivery is an alternative labor but remains at high risk for both mother and fetus. The awareness of the mother to check her pregnancy early and precisely is very important. To support the awareness attitude of pregnant women to their health, so in this research has made an application program for the mobile application based on Android by using Naïve Bayes classification model to predict early childbirth process that will be undertaken. From this research, it can be concluded that the application of the baby delivery method estimation with Naïve Bayes model based on Android can educate pregnant women about high-risk pregnancy condition and prediction of delivery method that will be done with 90% accuracy, 100% sensitivity, and 80% specificity. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Breast cancer is the leading type of malignant tumor which is observed in women. The effective treatment depends on its early diagnosis. The gold standard of breast cancer is histopathologic examination of cancer cells. The determination of the grading in breast cancer is determined by three factors: pleomorphic, tubular formation and cell mitosis. This paper uses pleumorfic and tubular formation pattern from breast cell histopathology images. The proposed system consists of four major steps : preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction and classification. We use k - means clustering method for image segmentation and use Gray level Cooccurence Matrix (GLCM) for feature extraction with four features (i.e. angular second moment, contrast feature, entropy feature, and variance feature). The final step is grading classification which uses Backpropagation Neural Network. Some of important parameters will be variated in this process such as learning rate and the number of node in hidden layer. The research gives good result for the identification of breast cancer grading with 88% accuracy, 85% sensitivity, and 80% specificity. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This work extracted the Tinospora cordifolia stem for antibacterial and antioxidant materials. The stems of T. cordifolia were extracted by using a simple maceration method. The effect of three independent variables (solvent ratios, temperature, and extraction time) was investigated to obtain optimal conditions. Ten grams of T. cordifolia were extracted using a mixture of methanol–water ratios 00:100, 15:85, 30:70, and 45:55 (% v/v) at 50–95 °C for 0.5 to 3 h. The total phenolic and flavonoid content in the T. cordifolia extracts was analyzed by Folin-Ciocalteu and Colorimetric-AlCl 3 methods. The antibacterial activities against Pseudomonas aeruginosa were assessed by serial dilution methods, and antioxidant properties were performed by DPPH methods. The optimum condition was achieved at methanol–water ratios of 00:100 % (v/v) at 95 °C for 2 h. The yield extraction for this condition is around 13.97%. The total phenolic and flavonoid contents for these conditions are about 6.85% and 7.07%, respectively. The minimum inhibitory concentration value against P. aeruginosa is 1024 µg/mL, and the minimum bacterial concentration is above 2048 µg/mL. Meanwhile, the antioxidant obtained is 217.55 µg/mL at a ratio of 00:100 methanol–water. The extraction process parameters significantly influenced the phytochemical (TPC and TFC), antibacterial activity, and antioxidant properties of T. cordifolia stem extracts. This work clearly shows the antibacterial potential of T. cordifolia stem extracts, suggesting that more investigation is required to isolate the bioactive compounds in this extract.

Hemoglobin is the protein molecule that binds oxygen in the blood. Hemoglobin level can be used as a benchmark of the human physiological condition, such as anemia, hypoxia, and postoperative bleeding. Generally, measurement of hemoglobin levels is performed by an invasive method that takes blood samples to be tested. This study offers a tele-monitoring system for measuring the hemoglobin level non-invasively, so it could reduce the possibility of infection or contamination to the body and can be monitored anywhere by using a website. This tele-monitoring device of non-invasive hemoglobin and oxygen saturation levels were designed by integrating the pulse oximetry sensor with signal conditioning circuit, Arduino Uno as a microcontroller, Ethernet module, an internet network, cloud server, and website. Pulse oximetry measured the oxygen saturation in the blood that indicate the vital state of human and became essential to determine the amount of hemoglobin level. The system performance in this study was tested on participants who had a good daily exercise and participants who never had daily activities to discover the correlation between hemoglobin levels with human physical activity and obtained 89% of accuracy. This system can be implemented as a personal device for monitoring the hemoglobin level and the oxygen saturation in daily used.

This research aims to recognize the pattern of pulmonary disease on x-ray radiography image using artificial neural network (ANN) method. The images, which were used such as images of healthy pulmonary, pulmonary tuberculosis, and pulmonary tumour. Pattern recognition was using an extraction feature of GLCM (Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix) and back propagation method. Before being identified, the images were processed by median filter and adaptive histogram equalization. The GLCM features that used were homogeneity, energy, contrast, variance and correlation. The parameters were learning rate and hidden layer. Learning rate was 0.3 and hidden layer was 25. Back propagation training showed 100% accuracy, which all of 44 images were used had been successfully identified. From the result, the healthy pulmonary showed 60% accuracy, 83.3% for pulmonary tuberculosis and 100% for pulmonary tumor. Hence, the overall result showed 81.25% accuracy, which 13 of 16 images had been successfully identified. From these result, extraction feature of GLCM using back propagation method was capable to recognize the pattern of pulmonary disease. However, due to narrow range of the feature, this application may not be used optimally for comparing features in every category of images. Therefore, the further research is needed to determine the best features and parameters of training back propagation.

Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) is an instrument that used to observe the surface of an object at a scale of nanometer. However, image degradations caused by blur and noise may be occurred on SEM observation images. Its problems limit the process of observing and quantification problem for subsequent image analysis and visualization. To mitigate problems on blur, an estimation of point spread function (PSF) for specific SEM experiment become challenging, due to noise on a measured image. In the work, an edge preserving filter based on spatial and frequency domains are used for support PSF estimation. The performance of proposed scheme is evaluated for SEM images that acquired using Hitachi SU3500. An object TEM grid is imaged using SEM parameters, i.e. accelerating voltage 30 kV, spot size 10, 20, 30, and 40 with magnification 350 times. The results shown that proposes scheme can be confirmation that estimation PSF has characteristic increasing a radius in x-y plane as proportional with increasing spot size of electron beam.

Entanglement measures are useful tools in characterizing otherwise unknown quantum phases and indicating transitions between them. Here we examine the concurrence and entanglement entropy in quantum spin chains with random long-range couplings, spatially decaying with a power-law exponent α. Using the strong disorder renormalization group (SDRG) technique, we find by analytical solution of the master equation a strong disorder fixed point, characterized by a fixed point distribution of the couplings with a finite dynamical exponent, which describes the system consistently in the regime α > 1/2. A numerical implementation of the SDRG method yields a power law spatial decay of the average concurrence, which is also confirmed by exact numerical diagonalization. However, we find that the lowest-order SDRG approach is not sufficient to obtain the typical value of the concurrence. We therefore implement a correction scheme which allows us to obtain the leading order corrections to the random singlet state. This approach yields a power-law spatial decay of the typical value of the concurrence, which we derive both by a numerical implementation of the corrections and by analytics. Next, using numerical SDRG, the entanglement entropy (EE) is found to be logarithmically enhanced for all α, corresponding to a critical behavior with an effective central charge c = ln2, independent of α. This is confirmed by an analytical derivation. Using numerical exact diagonalization (ED), we confirm the logarithmic enhancement of the EE and a weak dependence on α. For a wide range of distances l, the EE fits a critical behavior with a central charge close to c = 1, which is the same as for the clean Haldane-Shastry model with a power-la-decaying interaction with α = 2. Consistent with this observation, we find using ED that the concurrence shows power law decay, albeit with smaller power exponents than obtained by SDRG. The Black Hole Explorer (BHEX) is a next-generation space very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) mission concept that will extend the ground-based millimeter/submillimeter arrays into space. The mission, closely aligned with the science priorities of the Japanese VLBI community, involves an active engagement of this community in the development of the mission, resulting in the formation of the Black Hole Explorer Japan Consortium. Here we present the current Japanese vision for the mission, ranging from scientific objectives to instrumentation. The Consortium anticipates a wide range of scientific investigations, from diverse black hole physics and astrophysics studied through the primary VLBI mode, to the molecular universe explored via a potential single-dish observation mode in the previously unexplored 50-70 GHz band that would make BHEX the highest-sensitivity explorer ever of molecular oxygen. A potential major contribution for the onboard instrument involves supplying essential elements for its high-sensitivity dual-band receiving system, which includes a broadband 300 GHz SIS mixer and a space-certified multi-stage 4.5K cryocooler akin to those used in the Hitomi and XRISM satellites by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency. Additionally, the Consortium explores enhancing and supporting BHEX operations through the use of millimeter/submillimeter facilities developed by the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, coupled with a network of laser communication stations operated by the National Institute of Information and Communication Technology. The research area is one of the areas that have potential of hydrothermal deposit mineralization in Pacitan regency. This research aims to identify the presence of hydrothermal deposit mineralized zones through geophysical exploration by using induced polarization method in the study area. The induced polarization method is used to obtain anomalies in the form of contrast of resistivity and chargeability values in the study area. The results showed that the mineralized zones of hydrothermal deposit in the study area were characterized by significant anomaly contrast with the intensity of medium-high (> 100 Ωm) resistivity values associated with medium-value chargeability (20-50 ms). The association of resistivity and other chargeability values shows an intense alteration zone around the metal mineral deposits zone in the subsurface.
