Node embeddings aim to associate a vector to every vertex of a graph which can then be used for downstream tasks such as clustering, classification, or link prediction. Many popular node embeddings such as no $d$ e2vec and DeepWalk are based upon counting which nodes frequently co-occur in random walks of the graph. In this paper, we show that the performance of such algorithms can be improved by rewiring the edges of the graph through a variety of network indices before running DeepWalk. These rewirings effectively give the random walker an inductive bias and increase the accuracy of a logistic regression classifier applied to the node embedding on several benchmark data sets.

We propose a novel architecture that realizes full-duplex directional beamforming in the sub-terahertz regime. Our architecture leverages the frequency-controlled beam steering of leaky-wave antenna together with the polarization-dependent response of aligned single-wall carbon nanotubes. We evaluate the performance of this architecture via preliminary experiments.

Typically, fault-tolerant operations and code concatenation are reserved for quantum error correction due to their resource overhead. Here, we show that fault tolerant operations have a large impact on the performance of symmetry based error mitigation techniques. We also demonstrate that similar to results in fault tolerant quantum computing, code concatenation in fault-tolerant quantum error mitigation (FTQEM) can exponentially suppress the errors to arbitrary levels. For a family of circuits, we provide analytical error thresholds for FTQEM with the repetition code. These circuits include a set of quantum circuits that can generate all of reversible classical computing. The post-selection rate in FTQEM can also be increased by correcting some of the outcomes. Our threshold results can also be viewed from the perspective of quantifying the number of gate operations we can delay checking the stabilizers in a concatenated code before errors overwhelm the encoding. Anisotropy plays a key role in science and engineering. However, the interplay between the material and engineered photonic anisotropies has hardly been explored due to the vastly different length scales. Here we demonstrate a matter-light hybrid system, exciton-polaritons in a 2D antiferromagnet, CrSBr, coupled with an anisotropic photonic crystal (PC) cavity, where the spin, atomic lattice, and photonic lattices anisotropies are strongly correlated, giving rise to unusual properties of the hybrid system and new possibilities of tuning. We show exceptionally strong coupling between engineered anisotropic optical modes and anisotropic excitons in CrSBr, which is stable against excitation densities a few orders of magnitude higher than polaritons in isotropic materials. Moreover, the polaritons feature a highly anisotropic polarization tunable by tens of degrees by controlling the matter-light coupling via, for instance, spatial alignment between the material and photonic lattices, magnetic field, temperature, cavity detuning and cavity quality-factors. The demonstrated system provides a prototype where atomic- and photonic-scale orders strongly couple, opening opportunities of photonic engineering of quantum materials and novel photonic devices, such as compact, on-chip polarized light source and polariton laser. © 2023, CC BY-NC-ND.

In this research, the design of the earthworm rearing house was presented. Internet of Things, in which the research has designed houses and various equipment to be designed. The results showed that the traditional way of raising earthworms by walking to check the humidity in the cultured basin by touching and regularly watering compared to using the IOT system to measure the moisture. And there is a notification when the humidity drops below or above the specified threshold. and has an automatic watering system when the humidity is below a specified threshold It was found that the IOT-based method was more productive than the traditional method.

Incorporating Prior Knowledge into Neural Networks through an Implicit Composite Kernel

It is challenging to guide neural network (NN) learning with prior knowledge. In contrast, many known properties, such as spatial smoothness or seasonality, are straightforward to model by choosing an appropriate kernel in a Gaussian process (GP). Many deep learning applications could be enhanced by modeling such known properties. For example, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) are frequently used in remote sensing, which is subject to strong seasonal effects. We propose to blend the strengths of NNs and the clear modeling capabilities of GPs by using a composite kernel that combines a kernel implicitly defined by a neural network with a second kernel function chosen to model known properties (e.g., seasonality). We implement this idea by combining a deep network and an efficient mapping function based on either Nyström approximation or random Fourier features, which we call Implicit Composite Kernel (ICK). We then adopt a sample-then-optimize approach to approximate the full GP posterior distribution. We demonstrate that ICK has superior performance and flexibility on both synthetic and real-world datasets including a remote sensing dataset. This research aimed to design, produce, and assess a snoring detection neck pillow for elderly individuals with snoring symptoms. The research process began with finding information on snoring. The data obtained were used to design a snore detection neck pillow in the form of a U-shaped neck pillow. The functional principle was that when the microphone module detects the snoring sound, it activates a vibrating motor to alert the snorer to awake or change sleeping positions and stop snoring. There was a program to control the operation. The results of the snoring detection neck pillow test with a sample size of 20 people showed an average efficiency of 80%.

The purpose of this research is to help save electricity within organizations and workplaces that use computers. Due to the behavior of general users today, they do not give importance to saving electricity. This work has developed an automatic computer shutdown system. with image processing via a webcam by using image processing techniques (image processing) applied to a webcam by using a webcam to capture the user on the computer screen. Then the images are analyzed and examined with the principles of image processing with the face detection technique using the algorithm of Haar -like features to detect human faces and ROI. define a specific area of interest. The system will then check the amount of inactivity on the screen. or does not show the face image within 10 minutes, the system will automatically turn off the computer. with image processing. This work can make it easier to turn off computers when not in use. and helps to save electricity for the organization or agencies as well.

This paper presents an approach for color detection and segmentation based on Image Processing Process to retrieve candidate regions of GHS Sign. For color classification, where the dimension of each vector can be extended by a group of neighboring pixels. The experimental results are highly accurate and robust for our testing database, where samples are recorded on various states of environment. But in the meantime, it was found that the error processing. It is an image that looks asymmetrical image. It is impossible to detect the symbol GHS.
