Fuzzy Logic and Mathematical Theory of Evidence to Detect the Risk of Disease Spreading of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1

This research presents Fuzzy Logic and mathematical theory of evidence implement to detect the risk of disease spreading of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1. This research has considered population changes in an area to detect the risk of disease spreading of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1. Population density in the area include very low, low, medium, high and very high. The result reveals that the system has successfully identified the risk of disease spreading, moreover the maps can be displayed as the visualization. The highest percentage of the risk of disease spreading of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1 is 20%. Fuzzy Logic and mathematical theory of evidence have shown good results to detect the risk of disease spreading of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1. The risk of disease spreading of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza H5N1 in areas which include Batang, Kendal, Kota Magelang, Kota Salatiga, Kota Semarang, Magelang, Semarang, Temanggung, Wonosobo.

The presence of the internet can penetrate the boundaries between countries and accelerate the spread and exchange of information throughout the world. Although there are many positive impacts of internet use, there are also negative impacts that disturb the community. One can easily become a criminal (cyber crime) only by creating blogs, accounts, applications, programs, sites in various mass media and social media to commit fraud, data theft, illegal use of credit cards, the spread of pornographic content, online gambling, online prostitution, hate speech, radicalism, terrorism and so on. To overcome crime in the virtual space, the government has issued Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. But not all internet users know and understand the substance of the law. Therefore, the government, employers and institutions that are engaged in information and communication technology have the responsibility to socialize the law to the public to prevent crime in the virtual space.

Customer service improvement is directly related with organizational standards and productivity. Employees activities have certain objectives to be followed but sometimes outcomes are different than expected. Human error while performing regular job activities cause sufficient losses and difficult to address. Management faces real challenges while dealing with employee related issues and sometimes becomes unproductive. We propose Brahms Model with multi layered alert filtration and feedback cycle which would address the human error in the system and generate the filtered alerts in the form of sms or by emails. This is especially useful for Human-computer Interfacing (HCI) Scenarios. Controlling human error and addressing real issues may protect any institution from severe damage and losses. Efficiency of a customer service department can be improved and maximized by multi-layered alert filtration system using Brahms Model.

We study the polarisation properties of extragalactic sources at 95 and 150 GHz in the SPTpol 500 deg2 survey. We estimate the polarised power by stacking maps at known source positions, and correct for noise bias by subtracting the mean polarised power at random positions in the maps. We show that the method is unbiased using a set of simulated maps with similar noise properties to the real SPTpol maps. We find a flux-weighted mean-squared polarisation fraction hp2i = [8.9 ± 1.1] × 10−4 at 95 GHz and [6.9 ± 1.1] × 10−4 at 150 GHz for the full sample. This is consistent with the values obtained for a sub-sample of active galactic nuclei. For dusty sources, we find 95 per cent upper limits of 2> 95 −3 and 2> 150 −3. We find no evidence that the polarisation fraction depends on the source flux or observing frequency. The 1-σ upper limit on measured mean squared polarisation fraction at 150 GHz implies that extragalactic foregrounds will be subdominant to the CMB E and B mode polarisation power spectra out to at least ` . 5700 (` . 4700) and ` . 5300 (` . 3600), respectively at 95 (150) GHz. With the proliferation of wireless cellular technology (e.g., 5G, 4G LTE), managing quality of experience (QoE) for wireless clients streaming different videos over these networks is becoming increasingly important. In this paper, we consider the problem of managing playout stalls experienced by multiple clients streaming different videos from a cellular base station. We build on our prior work [1], where we formulate an epoch based lead aware multiple video transmission (LMVT) problem to minimize the total number of playout stalls experienced by mobile clients. In [1], [2], we show that the LMVT problem is NP-hard and propose a pseudo polynomial dynamic programming solution and a simple greedy heuristic to solve the problem. In this paper, we first show that even a simpler and less restrictive version of the LMVT problem remains hard. We then design a fully polynomial time approximation scheme (FPTAS) for the LVMT problem by demonstrating that it is equivalent to the Santa Claus Problem [3], [4]. The FPTAS provides a bounded performance guarantee, differing by a factor of 1/1+ϵB from the optimal solution (where B is the number of time slots in an epoch and ε is a small constant).

This study demonstrates a new approach to autonomous folding for the body of a 3D robot from a 2D sheet, using heat. We approach this challenge by folding a 0.27-mm sheetlike material into a structure. We utilize the thermal deformation of a contractive sheet sandwiched by rigid structural layers. During this baking process, the heat applied on the entire sheet induces contraction of the contracting layer and thus forms an instructed bend in the sheet. To attain the targeted folding angles, the V-fold spans method is used. The targeted angle θout can be kinematically encoded into crease geometry. The realization of this angle in the folded structure can be approximately controlled by a contraction angle θin. The process is non-reversible, is reliable, and is relatively fast. Our method can be applied simultaneously to all the folds in multi-crease origami structures. We demonstrate the use of this method to create a lightweight mobile robot. © 2015 Massachusetts Institute of technology.

The synthesis reaction used in esterification needs high energy consumption and a precise processing time to get the best yield of target. In this study, a model was formulated to optimize glycerol esterification process by minimizing the time needed for the process and maximizing the yield of Mono-glycerides. This optimization has gained importance for boosting the esterification industry and improving the production efficiency. Optimization through adaptive monitoring and control has provided significant advances in the process efficiency, a lower energy consumption and a better product quality. This paper presents the optimization with a computational algorithm in real time and adaptive control (RTAC), as compared to the conventional (traditional) methods to monitor and control of glycerol esterification processes. The identification of esterification status based on temperature and time are evaluated to strengthen the optimization. An adaptive method as feature selection to select wavelength IR sensors at specified intervals was carried out with Relief algorithm and Adaptive Pillar K-means clustering method to set the parameter control was proposed in this paper. Many combinations were evaluated from real time condition process, to achieve the best optimization results. The experimental results demonstrate that real time adaptive control can be achieved by using three clusters, which are heating up, stabilizing and finishing. In RTAC, each cluster has its own parameter to set the control point by the servo motor that was attached to magnetic stirrer-heater. By using optimization parameter for each cluster, esterification process time can be shortened by 15-20 minutes with a higher yield (7% or more), lower range stirrer rotation (300rpm-450 rpm) and a lower final temperature of 200℃ - 210℃.

Through support from the National Center for Women & Information technology (NCWIT), the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and the El Paso Community College (EPCC) began a program to collaborate on adoption of Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL) at EPCC. The NCWIT-funded effort aims to transfer this effective retention practice to the EPCC in order to establish early connections with female students, create community, and provide activities that improve students' problem-solving skills. PLTL provides an active learning experience for students and creates leadership roles for undergraduates. For the peer leaders, the experience of working with faculty and guiding their peers through a challenging course is rewarding, and they learn communication, teaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Peer leaders become more confident about their career path,= and many continue to be involved in the department through undergraduate research positions. This is important for retention and advancement efforts, since the peer-leading experience influences the students' motivation to attend graduate school. This paper describes how the UTEP-EPCC partnership was structured, how the practice was transferred, and the challenges that were encountered. It also presents the evaluation results.

High blood pressure is a highly heritable and modifiable risk factor for cardiovascular disease. We report the largest genetic association study of blood pressure traits (systolic, diastolic and pulse pressure) to date in over 1 million people of European ancestry. We identify 535 novel blood pressure loci that not only offer new biological insights into blood pressure regulation but also highlight shared genetic architecture between blood pressure and lifestyle exposures. Our findings identify new biological pathways for blood pressure regulation with potential for improved cardiovascular disease prevention in the future.
