This research explores the vital role of penetration testing in cybersecurity, specifically its alignment with ISO 27001:2022, COBIT 2019, and NIST CSF standards in the context of crypto asset exchange management. These sectors grapple with rapidly evolving threat landscapes, necessitating robust cybersecurity strategies. However, the integration of penetration testing with these standards remains underexamined. Through a comprehensive approach, including literature reviews, surveys, case studies, and interviews, this study investigates the incorporation of penetration testing into an organization's cybersecurity. It unveils the current state of penetration testing practices, interprets ISO 27001:2022, COBIT 2019, and NIST CSF perspectives, and pinpoints integration challenges and opportunities. This study offers practical insights and best practices for integrating penetration testing into cybersecurity frameworks by emphasizing alignment. It underscores the importance of aligning penetration testing with information security standards in the crypto asset exchange management sector, enhancing security, proactively identifying vulnerabilities, and effectively mitigating risks in the context of growing crypto asset importance. This research provides invaluable guidance for safeguarding digital assets in this evolving domain.

We consider the problem of Bayesian inference for bi-variate data observed in time but with observation times which occur non-synchronously. In particular, this occurs in a wide variety of applications in finance, such as high-frequency trading or crude oil futures trading. We adopt a diffusion model for the data and formulate a Bayesian model with priors on unknown parameters along with a latent representation for the the so-called missing data. We then consider computational methodology to fit the model using Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC). We have to resort to time-discretization methods as the complete data likelihood is intractable and this can cause considerable issues for MCMC when the data are observed in low frequencies. In a high frequency observation frequencies we present a simple particle MCMC method based on an Euler–Maruyama time discretization, which can be enhanced using multilevel Monte Carlo (MLMC). In the low frequency observation regime we introduce a novel bridging representation of the posterior in continuous time to deal with the issues of MCMC in this case. This representation is discretized and fitted using MCMC and MLMC. We apply our methodology to real and simulated data to establish the efficacy of our methodology. © 2025, CC BY.

[Background] Emotional Intelligence (EI) can impact Software Engineering (SE) outcomes through improved team communication, conflict resolution, and stress management. SE workers face increasing pressure to develop both technical and interpersonal skills, as modern software development emphasizes collaborative work and complex team interactions. Despite EI’s documented importance in professional practice, SE education continues to prioritize technical knowledge over emotional and social competencies. [Objective] This paper analyzes SE students’ self-perceptions of their EI after a two-month cooperative learning project, using Mayer and Salovey’s four-ability model to examine how students handle emotions in collaborative development. [Method] We conducted a case study with 29 SE students organized into four squads within a project-based learning course, collecting data through questionnaires and focus groups that included brainwriting and sharing circles, then analyzing the data using descriptive statistics and open coding. [Results] Students demonstrated stronger abilities in managing their own emotions compared to interpreting others’ emotional states. Despite limited formal EI training, they developed informal strategies for emotional management, including structured planning and peer support networks, which they connected to improved productivity and conflict resolution. [Conclusion] This study shows how SE students perceive EI in a collaborative learning context and provides evidence-based insights into the important role of emotional competencies in SE education. Indonesia is one of the countries in the world that still applies subsidies for fuel oil. By the law, the Indonesian government must ensure the supply and distribution of fuel for all Indonesian people. To implement this policy properly, understanding the pattern of fuel consumption is fundamental. In this study, clustering will be used to determine the categories of districts and cities based on subsidized fuel consumption patterns. Our research used several methods to compare which cluster method is the most optimal;the methods include k-means, Partitioning Around Medoids (PAM), and Clustering Large Applications (CLARA). The results show that k-means is the best clustering method with the highest Dunn index and Silhouette coefficient compared to others. The optimum cluster number we get is two and represents fuel consumption from several districts and cities. Some districts and cities had under-average consumption and needed to be monitored. © (2023), (International Association of Engineers). All Rights Reserved.

The rapid growing application of language models (LLMs) in education offers exciting prospects for personalized learning and interactive experiences. However, a critical challenge emerges - the risk of "hallucinations," where LLMs generate factually incorrect or misleading information. This paper proposes Comparative and Cross-Verification Prompting (CCVP), a novel technique specifically designed to mitigate hallucinations in educational LLMs. CCVP leverages the strengths of multiple LLMs, a Principal Language Model (PLM) and Auxiliary Language Models (ALMs), to verify the accuracy and educational relevance of the PLM's response to a prompt. Through a series of prompts and assessments, CCVP harnesses the diverse perspectives of various LLMs and incorporates human expertise for intricate cases. This method addresses the limitations of relying on a single model and fosters critical thinking skills in learners within the educational context. We detail the CCVP approach with examples specifically applicable to educational settings, such as geography. We also discuss its strengths and limitations, including computational cost, data reliance, and ethical considerations. We highlight its potential applications in educational disciplines, including fact-checking content, detecting bias, and promoting responsible LLM use. CCVP presents a promising avenue for ensuring the accuracy and trustworthiness of LLM-generated educational content. Further research and development will refine its scalability, address potential biases, and solidify its position as a vital tool for harnessing the power of LLMs while fostering responsible knowledge dissemination in education.

LayOut Loud is an AI-powered augmented reality (AR) and mobile application designed to revolutionize room interior design by offering tailored, real-time solutions for layout optimization. This paper proposed Scalability in Autoencoder-based Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) communication system. In the previous research, only the comparison between IEEE802.11a and Autoencoder by the conventional OFDM communication system was performed, and it was proved that the communication system created by Autoencoder exceeded the performance of the conventional system. Therefore, in this paper, it uses IEEE802.11n and compare whether it can be improved by expanding the bandwidth and using ***802.11n standard has an FFT length of 128, a subcarrier number of 114 (108 for data), and modulation schemes of Quadrature Phase Shift Keying(QPSK), 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (16QAM). The GI length is 800ns and the symbol length is 4000ns. In the simulation, a computer simulation was performed using a conventional OFDM communication system and a communication system generated by Autoencoder. Assuming that the simulation environment had an Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of 0 to 30 and an amplitude r of 0.0 to 1.0, the Symbol Error Rate (SER) status for each SNR was output. As a result of computer simulation, QPSK converged at SNR 27 ㏈ at IEEE 802.11a, but was able to reduce SER overwhelmingly to SNR 12 ㏈ at IEEE 802.11n. Also, in 16QAM the convergence at r=0.0 is the same as for SNR22 ㏈, but in IEEE 802.11a it does not converge after r=0.6, but in IEEE 802.11n it does not converge only at r=0.9 and r=1.0 . As a future task, it will use IEEE802.11ac, which enables communication speeds several times faster than IEEE802.11n, examine whether it is possible to further improve accuracy. And it will continue our research to correspond MIMO communication.

This paper discusses intelligent constellation generation based on autoencoder communication system. In previous studies, the amplitude was set to fluctuate between r=0.0 and 1.0. However, when checking the generated constellation, distortion was confirmed instead of the conventional symbol arrangement. Therefore, in this paper, it compares the case where the amplitude is constant, the case where the average amplitude within a Minibatch is 1, and the case where the average amplitude is 1 for Interval time. The communication standard used in this research is IEEE 802.11a, assuming wireless Local Area Network (LAN) specifications. The IEEE 802.11a standard has an Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) length of 64, a subcarrier number of 52, and Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) and 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), modulation methods. A guard interval of 800 ns is added and the symbol length is 4000 ns. First, a simulation was performed under the condition that the amplitude was kept constant. QPSK with 4 symbols, constant amplitude model is rounded more than previous research result. 16QAM with 16 symbols is arranged regularly like lined up on a line. Second, the simulation was performed under the condition that the average amplitude within the minibatch was set to 1. QPSK with 4 symbols, appears to rotate clockwise. 16QAM with 16 symbols has a more uniform symbol placement than previous research result. Third, a simulation was performed under the condition that the average amplitude within Interval time was set to 1. QPSK with 4 symbols, is the closest to square among QPSK output results so far. The direction is slightly tilted, but if it can be rotated a little more, it may be possible to reproduce the same symbol arrangement as before. 16QAM with 16 symbols, the symbol arrangement is biased as a whole. Weather forecasting has gained researchers from worldwide societies over decades due to its substantial impact on global human life from agriculture, air traffic control to public health and safety. Although rigorous weather forecasting research has begun in 19 th century, research has been dedicated to weather forecasting tasks that have significantly increased after weather-big data is widely available. This article proposes an Auto-regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model to forecast better visibility for the variant value of parameters p, d, q using the grid technique. This experiment showed that ARIMA has the lowest MSE value of 0.00029 and a coefficient of variation value of 0.00315. The greater number of prediction data in the ARIMA model increases the MSE value.
