Ecology is a branch of biology that studies the interaction and relationship between organisms and their environment. Abundance, distribution of organisms and patterns of biodiversity are great interests for many ecologists. One of interesting ecosystems to be studied is a cave. A cave has a typical environment character with a vulnerable ecosystem. Many caves in Indonesia, particularly in Gunungsewu karst area have been developed into tourist objects (show caves) and managed imprudently. Such cave management has potential to harm the environment and leads to ecosystem destruction. Arthropods are the most abundance fauna in cave that play critical roles in maintaining cave ecosystems equilibrium. In the heart of statistical ecology, we need to analyze the differences on Arthropods community and abiotic (climatic-edaphic) parameters among show caves and wild caves. Statistical techniques are needed for the extraction of such information. GLLVM is one method that is able to explain spatial-based information and is particularly suitable for ecology. In this paper, we use negative binomial models to see the differences on spatial patterns of predator and decomposer Arthropods, also characteristic of edaphic and climatic in each cave.

We explore the implementation of a spoof–fluid-spoof (SFS) acoustic waveguide, which is the acoustic analogue of a metal-insulator–metal waveguide in plasmonics. The proposed structure consists of two corrugated rigid surfaces separated by a fluid layer. The properties of the guided acoustic modes between corrugated rigid parallel plates are analytically and numerically studied by deriving their dispersion relation and through a careful analysis of symmetric and antisymmetric modes supported by this structure. Similar to plasmonic waveguides, it is shown that the dispersion relation of the proposed SFS acoustic waveguide, and the supported group and phase velocities, can be largely controlled by changes in the geometrical parameters of the waveguide, opening the possibility for application of this technology for acoustic delay lines, modulators, and sensors. The analytical and numerical results are validated through experiments in a controlled environment.

The Global Wheat Head Detection (GWHD) dataset was created in 2020 and has assembled 193,634 labelled wheat heads from 4,700 RGB images acquired from various acquisition platforms and 7 countries/institutions. With an associated competition hosted in Kaggle, GWHD has successfully attracted attention from both the computer vision and agricultural science communities. From this first experience in 2020, a few avenues for improvements have been identified, especially from the perspective of data size, head diversity and label reliability. To address these issues, the 2020 dataset has been reexamined, relabeled, and augmented by adding 1,722 images from 5 additional countries, allowing for 81,553 additional wheat heads to be added. We now release a new version of the Global Wheat Head Detection (GWHD) dataset in 2021, which is bigger, more diverse, and less noisy than the 2020 version. Moving metasurfaces support guided waves exhibiting unusual optical properties, including strong anisotropy, nonreciprocity and hyperbolic dispersion. However, for these phenomena to be noticeable, high speeds are typically required, challenging their practical implementation. Here, we show a viable route towards the realization of one-way hyperbolic propagation in metasurfaces placed synthetically in motion through traveling-wave space-time modulation. In addition to non-reciprocal hyperbolic propagation, the proposed time-modulation scheme induces additional exotic opportunities for nanophotonic systems, such as efficient nonreciprocal frequency conversion and mode transfer. Monthly rainfall analysis and forecasts are made to be able to provide a clear picture of the rain and climate conditions that have occurred and will occur in the territory of Indonesia. The information can be known in an area that has the most substantial maximum rainfall and in an area which has the lowest rainfall described and presented spatial pattern by using the ArcView-GIS. The purpose of making monthly rainfall forecasts is to be used and utilized by users, especially in the agriculture and irrigation sectors to plan and make decisions within the next 1 to 3 months related to climatic conditions, especially rainfall. In this paper, we use annual rainfall data in six location East Java. We analysis ENSO phenomena as well as rainfall forecasting in January - March 2018 by using generalized space-time autoregressive and get an accuracy MAPE out samp;e amount 2.95% dan RMSE out sample amount 4.77. © 2018 IEEE.

Structural identifiability is a property of a differential model with parameters that allows for the parameters to be determined from the model equations in the absence of noise. The method of input-output equations is one method for verifying structural identifiability. This method stands out in its importance because the additional insights it provides can be used to analyze and improve models. However, its complete theoretical grounds and applicability are still to be established. A subtlety and key for this method to work correctly is knowing whether the coefficients of these equations are identifiable. In this paper, to address this, we prove identifiability of the coefficients of input-output equations for types of differential models that often appear in practice, such as linear models with one output and linear compartment models in which, from each compartment, one can reach either a leak or an input. This shows that checking identifiability via input-output equations for these models is legitimate and, as we prove, that the field of identifiable functions is generated by the coefficients of the input-output equations. Finally, we exploit a connection between input-output equations and the transfer function matrix to show that, for a linear compartment model with an input and strongly connected graph, the field of all identifiable functions is generated by the coefficients of the transfer function matrix even if the initial conditions are *** Codes 12H05, 34A55, 92B05, 93C15, 93B25, 93B30 Copyright © 2019, The Authors. The slippery slope framework explains tax compliance along two main dimensions,trust in authorities and power of authorities,which influence taxpayers’compliance *** frequentist and Bayesian analyses,we investigated the framework’s assumptions on a sample of 2786 self-employed taxpayers from eleven post-communist and non-post-communist countries doing business in five economic *** using scenarios that experimentally manipulated trust and power,our results confirmed the framework’s assumptions regarding the attitudes of the self-employed taxpayers;trust and power fostered intended tax compliance and diminished tax evasion,trust boosted voluntary tax compliance,whereas power increased enforced tax ***,self-employed taxpayers from post-communist countries reported higher intended tax compliance and lower tax evasion than those from non-post-communist *** results offer tax authorities insights into how trust and power may contribute to obtaining and maintaining high tax compliance levels amid global economic challenges,downturns,and increasing tax compliance costs.

Computational models of acoustic wave propagation are frequently used in transcranial ultrasound therapy, for example, to calculate the intracranial pressure field or to calculate phase delays to correct for skull distortions. To allow intercomparison between the different modeling tools and techniques used by the community, an international working group was convened to formulate a set of numerical benchmarks. Here, these benchmarks are presented, along with intercomparison results. Nine different benchmarks of increasing geometric complexity are defined. These include a single-layer planar bone immersed in water, a multi-layer bone, and a whole skull. Two transducer configurations are considered (a focused bowl and a plane piston), giving a total of 18 permutations of the benchmarks. Eleven different modeling tools are used to compute the benchmark results. The models span a wide range of numerical techniques, including the finite-difference time-domain method, angular-spectrum method, pseudospectral method, boundary-element method, and spectral-element method. Good agreement is found between the models, particularly for the position, size, and magnitude of the acoustic focus within the skull. When comparing results for each model with every other model in a cross comparison, the median values for each benchmark for the difference in focal pressure and position are less than 10% and 1 mm, respectively.
