Many industrial processes may quickly proceed with biotechnological and enzymatic *** and production facilitator properties of enzymes have provided variable advantages for ***,enzyme utilization has become inevitable for industry and supplied financial advantages in case of the high energy requirement *** the study,the amylase enzymes were isolated from thermal spring sources,and the effect on bread quality was ***,fungal amylases were isolated from thermal spring sources(29-98◦C)in various places around *** determining the functional properties of amylase enzymes,the most active enzyme was used in bread production to examine their effect on bread *** maximum alpha-amylase activity(38.6 U/mg)has been detected in Aspergillus niger G 2-1 *** compared with the commercially available one,native alpha-amylase increased the bread volume.A significant difference(p<0.01)was found in the color properties and size of the bread between microbial produced in this study and commercially produced *** ppm alpha-amylase addition showed the optimum bread properties for dough processing.

DeepAstroUDA: Semi-Supervised Universal Domain Adaptation for Cross-Survey Galaxy Morphology Classification and Anomaly Detection

Artificial intelligence methods show great promise in increasing the quality and speed of work with large astronomical datasets, but the high complexity of these methods leads to the extraction of dataset-specific, non-robust features. Therefore, such methods do not generalize well across multiple datasets. We present a universal domain adaptation method, DeepAstroUDA, as an approach to overcome this challenge. This algorithm performs semi-supervised domain adaptation and can be applied to datasets with different data distributions and class overlaps. Non-overlapping classes can be present in any of the two datasets (the labeled source domain, or the unlabeled target domain), and the method can even be used in the presence of unknown classes. We apply our method to three examples of galaxy morphology classification tasks of different complexities (3-class and 10-class problems), with anomaly detection: 1) datasets created after different numbers of observing years from a single survey (LSST mock data of 1 and 10 years of observations);2) data from different surveys (SDSS and DECaLS);and 3) data from observing fields with different depths within one survey (wide field and Stripe 82 deep field of SDSS). For the first time, we demonstrate the successful use of domain adaptation between very discrepant observational datasets. DeepAstroUDA is capable of bridging the gap between two astronomical surveys, increasing classification accuracy in both domains (up to 40% on the unlabeled data), and making model performance consistent across datasets. Furthermore, our method also performs well as an anomaly detection algorithm and successfully clusters unknown class samples even in the unlabeled target dataset. © 2023, CC BY.

When Do Extended Physics-Informed Neural Networks (XPINNs) Improve Generalization?

Physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) have become a popular choice for solving high-dimensional partial differential equations (PDEs) due to their excellent approximation power and generalization ability. Recently, Extended PINNs (XPINNs) based on domain decomposition methods have attracted considerable attention due to their effectiveness in modeling multiscale and multiphysics problems and their parallelization. However, theoretical understanding on their convergence and generalization properties remains unexplored. In this study, we take an initial step towards understanding how and when XPINNs outperform PINNs. Specifically, for general multi-layer PINNs and XPINNs, we first provide a prior generalization bound via the complexity of the target functions in the PDE problem, and a posterior generalization bound via the posterior matrix norms of the networks after optimization. Moreover, based on our bounds, we analyze the conditions under which XPINNs improve generalization. Concretely, our theory shows that the key building block of XPINN, namely the domain decomposition, introduces a tradeoff for generalization. On the one hand, XPINNs decompose the complex PDE solution into several simple parts, which decreases the complexity needed to learn each part and boosts generalization. On the other hand, decomposition leads to less training data being available in each subdomain, and hence such model is typically prone to overfitting and may become less generalizable. Empirically, we choose five PDEs to show when XPINNs perform better than, similar to, or worse than PINNs, hence demonstrating and justifying our new theory. © 2021, CC BY.

This paper explores the combined effects of heat radiation, viscous dissipation, and chemical reactions on the steady flow of Williamson nanofluid over an exponentially stretched sheet. The Governing non-linear Partial Differential Equations (PDE's), converted to couple nonlinear Ordinary ODE's by using similarity transformation, which are solved numerically using the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method along with the shooting technique. The study shows detailed analysis of the behaviour of Williamson nanofluid under the influence of thermal radiation and magnetic fields, having relevant industrial applications in cooling technologies and polymer processing. The results show that increasing the magnetic field parameter reduces the fluid velocity, while higher thermal radiation and Brownian motion parameters significantly enhance heat transfer rate withing the boundary region. © 2024 The Author(s)

In this paper the universal enveloping algebra of color hom-Lie algebras is studied. A construction of the free hom-associative color algebra on a hom-module is described for a certain type of color hom-Lie algebras and is applied to obtain the universal enveloping algebra of those hom-Lie color algebras. Finally, this construction is applied to obtain the extension of the well-known Poincaré–Birkhoff–Witt theorem for Lie algebras to the enveloping algebra of the certain types of color hom-Lie algebra such that some power of the twisting map is the identity map. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2020.

We propose a simple method for simulating a general class of nonunitary dynamics as a linear combination of Hamiltonian simulation (LCHS) problems. LCHS does not rely on converting the problem into a dilated linear system problem or on the spectral mapping theorem. The latter is the mathematical foundation of many quantum algorithms for solving a wide variety of tasks involving nonunitary processes, such as the quantum singular value transformation. The LCHS method can achieve optimal cost in terms of state preparation. We also demonstrate an application for open quantum dynamics simulation using the complex absorbing potential method with near-optimal dependence on all parameters.

Alzheimer's disease is the primary cause of dementia. Due to the sluggish rate of progression of Alzheimer's disease, individuals have the opportunity to start receiving therapy early through routine testing. procedures since they are pricy and difficult to find. For many slowly advancing disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD), the capacity to recognise changes in disease progression is essential. Machine learning methods with a high degree of modularity were used throughout the pipeline. We propose the use of Neutrosophic hidden Markov models (NHMMs) to simulate disease progression in a more thorough manner than the clinical phases of the disease. Due to the complexity and ambiguity of reality, decision-makers find it challenging to draw conclusions from precise data. Since they cannot be computed directly, the variables are encoded using a single interval Neutrosophic set. We showed that the trained HMM can imitate sickness development more accurately than the commonly acknowledged clinical phases. © (2023). All Rights Reserved.

Subdiffusive wave transport and weak localization transition in three-dimensional stealthy hyperuniform disordered systems

The purpose of this work is to understand the fundamental connection between structural correlations and light localization in three-dimensional (3D) open scattering systems of finite size. We numerically investigate the transport of vector electromagnetic waves scattered by resonant electric dipoles spatially arranged in 3D space by stealthy hyperuniform disordered point patterns. Three-dimensional stealthy hyperuniform disordered systems are engineered with different structural correlation properties determined by their degree of stealthiness χ. Such fine control of exotic states of amorphous matter enables the systematic design of optical media that interpolate in a tunable fashion between uncorrelated random structures and crystalline materials. By solving the electromagnetic multiple scattering problem using Green's matrix spectral method, we establish a transport phase diagram that demonstrates a distinctive transition from a diffusive to a weak localization regime beyond a critical scattering density that depends on χ. The transition is characterized by studying the Thouless number and the spectral statistics of the scattering resonances. In particular, by tuning the χ parameter, we demonstrate large spectral gaps and suppressed subradiant proximity resonances, facilitating light localization. Moreover, consistently with previous studies, our results show a region of the transport phase diagram where the investigated scattering systems become transparent. Our work provides a systematic description of the transport and weak localization properties of light in stealthy hyperuniform structures and motivates the engineering of photonic systems with enhanced light-matter interactions for applications to both classical and quantum devices.
