The purpose of this project is to develop the mobile application, by applied Machine learning, for analyzing, collecting, monitoring, and retrieving information between patients with diabetes especially diabetes type 2 and village public health volunteers and to study the impact of using mobile application based on self-learning and self-management in diabetes information. This is a research and development mobile application and the sample consisted of 30 diabetes patients and 5 village health volunteers participated in this research. The project has demonstrated the effectiveness of using mobile application to support patients and village health volunteers. The results showed that user satisfaction has a high level. © 2022 IEEE.

The article describes a new method for malware classification,based on a Machine Learning(ML)model architecture specifically designed for malware detection,enabling real-time and accurate malware *** an innovative feature dimensionality reduction technique called the Interpolation-based Feature Dimensionality Reduction Technique(IFDRT),the authors have significantly reduced the feature space while retaining critical information necessary for malware *** technique optimizes the model’s performance and reduces computational *** proposed method is demonstrated by applying it to the BODMAS malware dataset,which contains 57,293 malware samples and 77,142 benign samples,each with a 2381-feature *** the IFDRT method,the dataset is transformed,reducing the number of features while maintaining essential data for accurate *** evaluation results show outstanding performance,with an F1 score of 0.984 and a high accuracy of 98.5%using only two reduced *** demonstrates the method’s ability to classify malware samples accurately while minimizing processing *** method allows for improving computational efficiency by reducing the feature space,which decreases the memory and time requirements for training and *** new method’s effectiveness is confirmed by the calculations,which indicate significant improvements in malware classification accuracy and *** research results enhance existing malware detection techniques and can be applied in various cybersecurity applications,including real-timemalware detection on resource-constrained *** and scientific contribution lie in the development of the IFDRT method,which provides a robust and efficient solution for feature reduction in ML-based malware classification,paving the way for more effective and scalable cybersecurity measures.

Melanoma is a malignant form of cancer that affects the skin and has a particularly high mortality rate, so it requires early detection to increase the level of safety for users. Diagnosis and detection of skin cancer are usually done through manual screening and visual inspection. This process requires a long time, has high complexity, is subjective, and is prone to errors. CNN is one of the algorithms with advantages in accurate classification. In this research, early detection and classification of melanoma cancer were carried out based on two classes, namely benign and malignant using the Convolutional Neural Network method. Our proposed method yields an accuracy of 81.11% for the validation data. The accuracy results obtained can be improved by using more datasets and increasing the number of layers used. This study uses the CNN method using MobileNet V2 architecture to detect melanoma skin cancer. The class used is benign and malignant. © 2023 IEEE.

To determine the quality of beef, it is usually seen using a flashlight and matching it with a predetermined color standard. However, this method is time consuming and the results are inconsistent due to human visual limitations. This study aims to identify the freshness of beef based on its color characteristics using feature extraction method with HSV and LDA method for identification. The identification process begins with the transformation process from RGB images to L∗a∗b, then image segmentation serves to separate one object from another and image identification uses the LDA method with feature extraction using HSV. The use of color feature extraction with the HSV algorithm to assist in obtaining information from the colors contained in the image for easy identification. Furthermore, the LDA algorithm has a function to obtain the maximum projection to obtain a smaller dimensional space so that the desired patterns can be separated through the boundary line of a linear equation so as to form a certain class or group. Based on the test results using the confusion matrix, it produces a precision value of 80%, recall of 84%, and accuracy of 82%. © 2022 IEEE.

This study is dedicated to a critical investigation of the existing approaches toward a data visualization management platform based on Fast Health Interoperability Resources (FHIR). Despite the growing popularity of FHIR, the available evidence provides a compelling reason to believe that its use is still accompanied by a significant number of technical challenges. Therefore, the development of tools to ensure its convenient visualization remains a pressing need for a variety of stakeholders operating in the healthcare industry. Results of the systematic literature review that included 26 studies provide valuable information about the most popular instruments in this area, such as the OpenEHR CKM approach. The review offers a critical discussion of the most important advantages and disadvantages of different approaches. It provides valuable recommendations for further research as well as practical recommendations concerning the best ways to utilize data visualization platforms based on FHIR. It defines the tradeoff of functionality versus the ease of dissemination as one of the most important problems facing most platforms and suggests avenues for developing additional tooling support for visualizing FHIR. The results of the research could be useful both for scientists and practitioners. © 2022 IEEE.

Smart cities promise a lot of well-being to their users in all areas of life through millions of applications and services. Smart services rely heavily on collecting data and the preferences of users. But on the dark side, the users' information is posed to threat and penetration during transmission or stored far in the clouds. Depending on encryption only is not sufficient if the attacker has strong resources or if the attacker is the service provider (SP) itself. In addition, changing data before sending is not a practical solution in many systems because of the adverse impact on the quality of a main service. This research presented a new idea to address the issue of protection. The proposed method enhanced the privacy and security of users' data without affecting the accuracy of service. The core of the suggested solution relies on a knowledge base of services that are managed by experts. Also, the solution depends on fog nodes to measure the level of security and privacy of users' queries without delay. Moreover, the fog nodes manage contact with SPs. Finally, the proposed method divided the SP into two, one for user queries and the other for user data. The simulation and analytical discussion on a practical case in smart cities demonstrated the superiority of the proposed approach over previous methods in the level of protection by maintaining the quality of services, and the resistance to attacks. © 2023 Bharati Vidyapeeth, New Delhi.

In the intricate domain of software systems verification, dynamically model checking multifaceted system characteristics remains paramount, yet challenging. This research proposes the advanced observe-based statistical model-checking (OSM) framework, devised to craft executable formal models directly from foundational system code. Leveraging model checking predicates, the framework melds seamlessly with aspect-oriented programming paradigms, yielding a potent method for the analytical verification of varied behavioral attributes. Exploiting the transformative capacity of OSM framework, primary system code undergoes a systematic metamorphosis into multifaceted analysis constructs. This not only simplifies the model verification process but also orchestrates feature interactions using an innovative observing join point abstraction mechanism. Within this framework, components encompassing parsing, formal verification, computational analytics, and rigorous validation are intrinsically interwoven. Marrying the principles of model checking with aspect-oriented (AO) modularization, OSM framework stands as a paragon, proficiently scrutinizing and affirming system specifications. This ensures the unyielding performance of electronic health record systems amidst shifting preconditions. OSM framework offers runtime verification of both object-oriented and AO deployments, positioning itself as an indispensable open-source resource, poised to automate the enhancement of system performance and scalability. Medical image analysis is a challenging and complex field these days. This discipline focuses especially on the processing of MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) images. It offers multiple methods for locating brain tumors in MRI brain images and compares the precision of all the findings. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) and ResNet architectures are used to train the model. As deep learning models are highly efficient and correctly identify whether the MRI picture of a tumor is healthy or unhealthy. In this work, high-level features are extracted from the input images using the CNN architecture, which has multiple pooling layers. To create the final classification model, fully connected layers are then routed through the extracted characteristics. However, CNN has some drawbacks, and to overcome these issues, a ResNet based architecture has been used. Additionally, U-Net-based MRI brain tumor segmentation algorithms have gained popularity because they significantly improve segmentation accuracy by infusing high-level and low-level feature information via skip connections. The suitability of an attention module called Attention Gate, which was recently developed, for tasks involving the segmentation of brain tumors has also been explored in this work.

The Internet of Things (IoTs) have become ubiquitous in all aspects of public needs today. The application of IoT technology is crucial for promoting energy-saving behavior. This paper presents a control system used for smart home devices based on hand gesture control and Android applications. The hardware design uses the ESP32 microcontroller, which has an in-chip Wi-Fi module, making it very suitable for creating IoT application systems. The software was designed using the Arduino IDE, and the application display design was developed using Kodular Creator, which is used to control the lamps and switches. The experiment results show that the electrical equipment can be activated using the Android application with gesture sensors by waving down, up, left, and right.

Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are neurodevelopmental disorders that are marked by enduring difficulties with speech, nonverbal communication, and restricted or repetitive behaviors. Early detection and intervention can greatly improve outcomes for people with ASD. Recently, deep learning algorithms have been applied to aid in the early detection of ASD using facial images. In this work, modifications of the commonly used VGG16 and VGG19 models for image recognition tasks are proposed to improve the performance of detecting ASD from a child’s frontal face image. The proposed model is unique, as it alters the architecture of existing models, adds an attentional mechanism, and applys transfer learning. These changes are intended to decrease the chance of overfitting and enhance the model’s capacity to capture subtle face characteristics. The performance of the updated model is assessed through accuracy, which is 82.55% for VGG19 and 80% for VGG16 model, and contrasted the outcomes of the original model. Performance of the modified model is also compared with that of the original model. The obtained results show that the modified model outperforms in detecting ASD from facial images, suggesting that the proposed modification is non-invasive for early detection of ASD and has the potential to contribute to the development of efficient tools.
