Cashless Transaction describes as a state where financial transactions are not bound by physical form such as banknotes or coins, but rather trough transfer of digital information (electronic representation of money). Cashless Transaction exists because of fast majorities of human transaction evolved towards digital environment, this creates an opportunity where legal money exists, recorded, and exchanged in digital form. Thus cashless transaction will make less effort in currency operation cost, keep on track with expenses, connected anytime everywhere as long as connected with internet, and eliminates the needs of banknotes or receipt. Cashless Transaction have done over the past few years making life easier by reducing a number of objects to merge into 1 functional object that could make payments faster and simpler starting with check the first mark of cashless transaction that's still being used nowadays, but cashless transaction doesn't stop evolving in this modern era where money is demonetized, cashless transaction is moving into the digital grid resulting a breakthrough mobile wallets and online transfer that offers people flexibility because its technology advancement makes it possible to make payments anytime and anywhere since it's only depend on a secure network(internet) and a platform, therefore cashless transaction could be done as fast as possible saving precious time. Cashless transaction has some of key components such as security, UX, Functionality, Performance and Data Integrity. Five key components could make cashless transaction become reality but also poses a different threat to cashless transaction. Hacking is one of them. Hacking could be done by anyone that have the ability to compromise the transmission, the transmission needs to have more data protection thus the cashless transaction could be done safely and free of risk. © 2020 ACM.

Food sustainability is still one of the main priorities for many countries as it contributes to the economy and stability of the nation. For government in many countries whose peoples consumes rice as its staple food, food self-sufficiency initiatives highly depend on accurate prediction of paddy field map. Mapping paddy field task is a challenging problem which cannot be handled manually especially when the paddy fields are spread out in very wide geographical areas such as those in Indonesia. Fortunately, wide availability of satellite imagery and the advent of deep learning technology in the past ten years have made it possible to improve efficiency of most parts of those manual works involving image semantic segmentation tasks. However, satellite image-based semantic segmentation is a challenging task. High object complexity, cloud partial occlusion, larger image size than a computer memory can stored can hinder accuracy of the image segmentation results. This paper presents a method for paddy field map generating using semantic image segmentation approach in which Pyramid Scene Parsing Net model is used for segmenting satellite imagery. The generated paddy map can be used as a basis for decision-making, especially in the agricultural sector. Analysis of local land use/land cover dynamics. The results of his experiments using SPOT 6 satellite imagery from the Pahung region of Central Kalimantan achieved average training accuracy, best training accuracy and test accuracy of 0.85, 0.86 and 0.89 respectively. These results indicated that the semantic segmentation model is suitable for addressing the same task in different crops.

The financial backbone of every telecommunications company is strictly made up of the number of customers patronizing the organization. Due to the high level of competition amongst existing telecommunication companies, customers sometimes leave, dropping the services of a particular one for the other. Predicting which subscribers may want to leave a telecommunications company and providing solutions to keep them from doing so, are the main objectives of customer churn prediction. Churn prediction helps classify consumers who are likely to move from one business to another. The ability to foresee churners before they leave has been increasingly useful in recent years, especially in light of increased competition among communications carriers. To compute churners for telecommunications providers, the study described in this paper used oversampling techniques to balance churn data and applied the dimensionality reduction technique to discover optimal features with a strong predictive ability for detecting would-be churners and non-churners. The model used Logistic Regression and the Naïve Bayes Classification Algorithm to implement comparative classification strategies. The performance levels of these strategies were compared using a Telecommunications Customer Churn data set, as well as performance metrics such as accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity. The Naïve Bayes Algorithm proves more efficient than its counterpart giving higher positive rate detection and a lower negative rate detection.

Study on the identification and classification of fish is challenging and valuable because of its role in advancing the marine and agricultural fields. This research has benefits interms of monitoring fish populations and ecosystems in a particular area. Furthermore, this research helps monitor fish that are considered threatened or endangered so that it makes iteasier to map prohibited areas for fishing. This research aims to know performance of MobileNetV2 and VGG16 with parameter tuning process by identifying the value of batch size, epoch, learning rate, and optimizer for fish image dataset. The proposed research phase consists of five main stages, including experimental setup, dataset construction, dataset preprocessing, dataset training and modelling and evaluation. As the result, VGG16 obtained the highest accuracy value. For VGG16 without fine-tuning, the testing accuracy is 98.07%. For VGG16 with fine-tuning, the testing accuracy is 96.56%.

Finding appropriate reaction conditions that yield high product rates in chemical synthesis is crucial for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. However, due to the vast chemical space, conducting experiments for each possible reaction condition is impractical. Consequently, models such as QSAR (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship) or ML (Machine Learning) have been developed to predict the outcomes of reactions and illustrate how reaction conditions affect product yield. Despite these advancements, inferring all possible combinations remains computationally prohibitive when using a conventional CPU. In this work, we explore using a Digital Annealing Unit (DAU) to tackle these large-scale optimization problems more efficiently by solving Quadratic Unconstrained Binary Optimization (QUBO). Two types of QUBO models are constructed in this work: one using quantum annealing and the other using ML. Both models are built and tested on four high-throughput experimentation (HTE) datasets and selected Reaxys datasets. Our results suggest that the performance of models is comparable to classical ML methods (i.e., Random Forest and Multilayer Perceptron (MLP)), while the inference time of our models requires only seconds with a DAU. Additionally, in campaigns involving active learning and autonomous design of reaction conditions to achieve higher reaction yield, our model demonstrates significant improvements by adding new data, showing promise of adopting our method in the iterative nature of such problem settings. Our method can also accelerate the screening of billions of reaction conditions, achieving speeds millions of times faster than traditional computing units in identifying superior conditions. Therefore, leveraging the DAU with our developed QUBO models has the potential to be a valuable tool for innovative chemical synthesis. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Generative Diffusion Models (GDMs) have emerged as a transformative force in the realm of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), demonstrating their versatility and efficacy across various applications. The ability to model complex data distributions and generate high-quality samples has made GDMs particularly effective in tasks such as image generation and reinforcement learning. Furthermore, their iterative nature, which involves a series of noise addition and denoising steps, is a powerful and unique approach to learning and generating data. This paper serves as a comprehensive tutorial on applying GDMs in network optimization tasks. We delve into the strengths of GDMs, emphasizing their wide applicability across various domains, such as vision, text, and audio generation. We detail how GDMs can be effectively harnessed to solve complex optimization problems inherent in networks. The paper first provides a basic background of GDMs and their applications in network optimization. This is followed by a series of case studies, showcasing the integration of GDMs with Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL), incentive mechanism design, Semantic Communications (SemCom), Internet of Vehicles (IoV) networks, etc. These case studies underscore the practicality and efficacy of GDMs in real-world scenarios, offering insights into network design. We conclude with a discussion on potential future directions for GDM research and applications, providing major insights into how they can continue to shape the future of network optimization. © 2023, CC BY.

Sasirangan cloth is one of the traditional cloths owned by Indonesia and is a typical cloth originating from the province of South Kalimantan. This Sasirangan cloth has many motifs and is unique. Sasirangan cloth is also one of the potentials that can attract local and foreign tourists to visit South Kalimantan. However, in recent years, tourist visits to South Kalimantan have decreased due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Then it also has an impact on the delay in the implementation of the Banjarmasin Sasirangan Festival which is usually held annually. The next impact is a decrease in turnover and interest in shopping for Sasirangan cloth, so that employees who work for Sasirangan cloth craftsmen are dismissed and reduce people's income. So the purpose of this study is to report the results of the development of a Virtual Reality Game application called VR-SasiranganKu by integrating the interaction of Non-Player Character (NPC) behavior with the type of narrative in the simulation genre game. VR-SasiranganKu is recommended to introduce and at the same time promote Sasirangan cloth to users, then justify the reaction to knowledge and shopping experience, and evaluate user experience using the UX Honeycomb method. Respondents involved as many as 100 people who are local and national tourists. The results show that the interaction of NPC behavior can provide good direction to users regarding the introduction of Sasirangan cloth by presenting an appropriate interaction design based on the narrative and the theme of the NPC that has been adopted, the results of justification using VR-SasiranganKu can provide knowledge reaction and very good shopping experience, and based on user experience evaluation that VR-SasiranganKu has adopted a very good UX with an average score of 4.91.

The amniotic fluid surrounds and protects the fetus from colliding with one another during the uterus development process. It also protects the umbilical cord from the uterine wall pressure, helps fetus movement, and develops muscles and bones. Selection of the most profound areas of improper and withdrawal points are not straight caliper is very likely that affect the outcome screening. Furthermore, there are similarities in texture and gray level between objects, especially in the boundary area between amniotic fluid and other objects, such as the placenta and uterus, which causes the border area to be less clear. Therefore, this research proposes a novel pixel classification model to separate amniotic fluid from other objects with a limit on the specified window size to solve this issue. In contrast to the most existing semantic segmentation methods or pixel-wise classification, we use the sampling window technique to construct train sets of data to produce pixel-level information more specifically in certain areas. Furthermore, each window extracts pixel information on gray level features and local variance (GLLV), using a novel Distance Angle Pixel (DAP). To evaluate the proposed model performance, we perform an extensive comparison with state-of-art methods by testing it on amniotic fluid ultrasound images. The results showed that the proposed model with a 3 × 3 window and random forest classifier could achieve the best value using an average Dice similarity coefficient (DSC) of 0.876, Jaccard/IoU of 0.768, and Pixel accuracy of 85.7%. The proposed model has 0.324 DSC improved from U-Net, 0.046 from gray-level pixel classification, 0.092 from thresholding, 0,252 from active contour, and 0.19 from rectangle window sampling. © 2021

With the sudden attack of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), some 300 million children in the world have been forced to study at home because of the mass closure of schools that began on March 18, 2020. This has caused many obstacles in the teaching and learning process. Every effort is made to minimize the COVID-19 pandemic while ensuring the teaching and learning process is not interrupted. If the school closures too long and the child is trapped inside the house this will have a negative impact on the physical and mental health of the children. This situation makes parents become worried and look for alternative education in addition to formal schooling for their children. Of the various types of education offers that exist homeschooling or commonly known as home-based learning provides a way out for the current situation. Now children are quarantined in their homes and they will return to school once this epidemic fades. But with this disaster, parents' views on homeschooling or home-based learning can be different from before. They may still be marked if home-based learning can be a long-term education. With the existence of COVID-19, most parents might finally realize that education without formal schooling is not a crisis but an opportunity to take their children to a better future. This research was conducted by utilizing a descriptive qualitative method and within the descriptive qualitative method, the concept of document analysis would be utilized the most. It was expected that the results of this research would explore what type of technology parents could prepare for their children to use to initiate home-based learning. © 2020 IEEE.
