In modern era, data has become precious and important, data leak can lead to high damage to business, impact on losing profit. To avoiding those problems, organization need equip with updated security tools to protecting data and network. As computer network growing rapidly, currently security become important to prevent from attack, both from outside and inside the network. In line with that, new vulnerability grown on everyday basis and resulting increment number of intrusion and attack. Unfortunately, each intrusion and attack have a different pattern and unique behavior, continuous development and research on intrusion detection is mandatory. By statistic, in 2017 attack associated with XSS attack is grew 39% compared with 2015.

This review presents a comprehensive perspective on the genomic surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 in Taiwan, with a focus on next-generation sequencing and phylogenetic interpretation. This article aimed to explore how Taiwan has utilized genomic sequencing technologies and surveillance to monitor and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We examined databases and sources of genomic sequences and highlighted the role of data science methodologies in the explanation and analyses of evolutionary data. This review addressed the challenges and limitations inherent in genomic surveillance, such as concerns regarding data quality and the necessity for interdisciplinary expertise for accurate data interpretation. Special attention was given to the unique challenges faced by Taiwan, including its high population density and major transit destination for international travelers. We underscored the far-reaching implications of genomic surveillance data for public health policy, particularly in influencing decisions regarding travel restrictions, vaccine administration, and public health decision-making. Studies were examined to demonstrate the effectiveness of using genomic data to implement public health measures. Future research should prioritize the integration of methodologies and technologies in evolutionary data science, particularly focusing on phylodynamic analytics. This integration is crucial to enhance the precision and applicability of genomic data. Overall, we have provided an overview of the significance of genomic surveillance in tracking SARS-CoV-2 variants globally and the pivotal role of data science methodologies in interpreting these data for effective public health interventions.

Wide-field searches for young stellar objects (YSOs) can place useful constraints on the prevalence of clustered versus distributed star formation. The Spitzer/IRAC Candidate YSO (SPICY) catalog is one of the largest compilations of such objects (∼120,000 candidates in the Galactic midplane). Many SPICY candidates are spatially clustered, but, perhaps surprisingly, approximately half the candidates appear spatially distributed. To better characterize this unexpected population and confirm its nature, we obtained Palomar/DBSP spectroscopy for 26 of the optically-bright (G ☉, and the estimated accretion rates, ranging from 3 × 10−8 to 3 × 10−7 M☉ yr−1, are typical for YSOs in this mass range. The 3D spatial distribution of these stars, based on Gaia astrometry, reveals that the "isolated" YSOs are not evenly distributed in the Solar neighborhood but are concentrated in kpc-scale dusty Galactic structures that also contain the majority of the SPICY YSO clusters. Thus, the processes that produce large Galactic star-forming structures may yield nearly as many distributed as clustered YSOs. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

This study explores the influence of trust and risk in the use of FinTech in Indonesian society. This exploration is based on findings from previous studies that suggest that trust and risk are important aspects in considering the use of FinTech. The focus of this research is to develop and validate the research instruments that will be used next. The basic theory of model development uses the theory of technology Acceptance Model (TAM) developed by Davis. The models and instruments developed will be through pilot studies involving 133 communities as respondents. This Study is quantitative research and data obtained were analyzed using smart pls v3.0. This analysis is conducted to ensure the level of reliability and validity of the instrument. The results of this analysis find 31 instruments that are stated reliable and validity. So it can be used for collecting data from a survey in accordance with the research.

Together with the technology advancement, computer Vision plays an important role in enhancing smart computing systems to help people overcome obstacles in their daily lives. One of the common troublesome problems is human memorization ability, especially memorizing things such as personal items. It is annoying for people to waste their time finding lost items manually by recall or notes. This motivates the authors to propose a solution that can help a user find an item that he or she already saw but vaguely remembers where and when it appeared in the past. The user simply provides our system a single image of that item, then the system retrieves a rank list of visual scenes that may contain the item from video recorded implicitly during user's daily activities. Our method is based on Bag-of-Words model, one of the most famous methods in image retrieval. We first conduct experiments to find the appropriate parameters and configurations of Bag-of-Words system for visual instance search. Then we perform experiments with 110 visual queries of 30 common objects in real video with 2837 shots recorded during daily activities of volunteers. Experimental results show that for all 30/30 categories of objects, our system can help users find their objects of interest just by looking into the top 10 video shots retrieved from recorded video with the balance accuracy from 50 to 80%. This demonstrates the potential use of our method to help people remind of their items in an easy and comfortable way. © 2017 IEEE.

The rapidly growing quantum information science and engineering (QISE) industry will require both quantum-aware and quantum-proficient engineers at the bachelor's level. We provide a roadmap for building a quantum engineering education program to satisfy this need. For quantum-aware engineers, we describe how to design a first quantum engineering course accessible to all STEM students. For the education and training of quantum-proficient engineers, we detail both a quantum engineering minor accessible to all STEM majors, and a quantum track directly integrated into individual engineering majors. We propose that such programs typically require only three or four newly developed courses that complement existing engineering and science classes available on most larger campuses. We describe a conceptual quantum information science course for implementation at any post-secondary institution, including community colleges and military schools. QISE presents extraordinary opportunities to work towards rectifying issues of inclusivity and equity that continue to be pervasive within engineering. We present a plan to do so and describe how quantum engineering education presents an excellent set of education research opportunities. Finally, we outline a hands-on training plan on quantum hardware, a key component of any quantum engineering program, with a variety of technologies including optics, atoms and ions, cryogenic and solid-state technologies, nanofabrication, and control and readout electronics. Our recommendations provide a flexible framework that can be tailored for academic institutions ranging from teaching and undergraduate-focused two- and four-year colleges to research-intensive universities. © 2021, CC BY.

Epidemiological surveillance of Tuberculosis (TB) requires a strong integration of different health services, programs and levels of care. The deepening and broadening of data management techniques must be constantly carried out to increase the integrality of healthcare. Otherwise, knowledge extraction and clinical and administrative decision-making processes are significantly hampered, directly affecting the management and quality of health services. Thus, this work aims to establish a computerized decision support system capable of collecting, integrating and sharing TB health data in Brazilian Unified Public Health System. Also, it will allow the monitoring of infected patients and the visualization of consolidated information of regular TB and its resistant variants for health professionals and managers. The data will be made available from heterogeneous, disconnected and unstructured sources by combining traditional web services, Semantic Web resources and security algorithms. A solid knowledge base applied to epidemiological surveillance, health information governance and clinical support will be enabled to integrate the multiple areas of TB patients care, as well as to support the creation of more accurate operational and diagnostics models.

Computational models of acoustic wave propagation are frequently used in transcranial ultrasound therapy, for example, to calculate the intracranial pressure field or to calculate phase delays to correct for skull distortions. To allow intercomparison between the different modeling tools and techniques used by the community, an international working group was convened to formulate a set of numerical benchmarks. Here, these benchmarks are presented, along with intercomparison results. Nine different benchmarks of increasing geometric complexity are defined. These include a single-layer planar bone immersed in water, a multi-layer bone, and a whole skull. Two transducer configurations are considered (a focused bowl and a plane piston), giving a total of 18 permutations of the benchmarks. Eleven different modeling tools are used to compute the benchmark results. The models span a wide range of numerical techniques, including the finite-difference time-domain method, angular-spectrum method, pseudospectral method, boundary-element method, and spectral-element method. Good agreement is found between the models, particularly for the position, size, and magnitude of the acoustic focus within the skull. When comparing results for each model with every other model in a cross comparison, the median values for each benchmark for the difference in focal pressure and position are less than 10% and 1 mm, respectively. The benchmark definitions, model results, and intercomparison codes are freely available to facilitate further comparisons. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Kawi Language is a kind of language which has developed in Java during the Hindu-Buddhist era in the ancient Indonesian archipelago. As the time passed, Kawi began to come to extinction. To overcome this, preservation of Kawi language can be done by enhancing the understanding of culture through the use of technology. technology that can be used for cultural preservation is one of NLP based applications such as Kawi Language to Bahasa Translator Application which is developed in this research. The translator application is an application that translates from one language to another. The result of translation of the translator application is a language that is easy to understand by the people or commonly used language. This translator application is developed to processes Kawi Language text into bahasa based on search method which each word inserted. The stemming method used is Bobby Nazief & Mima Adriani Algorithm using Kawi Language rule.
