At present, ad hoc networks are getting a lot of attention, because they have many features that differ from the rest of the networks and because they are technically advanced. In routing protocols, the Vehicular Ad-hoc network (VANET) differ in performance because each protocol has different variables, such as variable density, speed, and traffic scenarios. In this work, we proposed topology-based routing namely Ad hoc On Demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol. The AODV protocol has been simulated in case of the movement of vehicles at a fixed velocity at 60km/h, and in case of randomly changing the vehicle's locations in the network. There are three parameters used to investigate the performance of the proposed AODV protocol which are packet delivery ratio, and overheads. The Simulation results show a significant decrease from 0.55 to 0.82 in the packet delivery ratio. On the other hand, the performance of the AODV protocol demonstrates effective communication for the VANETs.

This paper suggests using the saving algorithm for vehicle routing problems to optimize the maintenance route of the transmission station, which has classified transmission station types into 4 types and taken into account the conditions of time spent on equipment maintenance within the station to get the route with the lowest overall cost, is suggested in this paper as a way to optimize the maintenance route of the transmission station. The experiment results show that the suggested path can lower costs by up to 82% and reduce the time from 112 to 53 days.

Due to the intermittent characteristics of solar radiation, the integration of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems into the power grid raises many power quality problems such as voltage drop, unstable grid frequency, and harmonics. Despite these drawbacks, the integration of large-scale PV systems into the grid definitely has several advantages. This paper investigates the positive impact of integrating large-scale PV systems into the electric power grid. In this study, the PV system contributes 10%-20% of the power to the grid. Load flow analysis based on the Newton Raphson model is used to calculate grid losses when the PV system is connected at different positions along the feeder line. The results showed that there was a decrease in power losses that occurred in the network from 29.4 kW to 29.2 kW when the PV system was injected into the network at the start of the power line. Then losses can be reduced from 29.4 kW to 29.1 kW when the PV system is integrated in the midfield. The reduction in power losses becomes more significant when the PV system is injected at the end of the line from 29.4 to 28.6 kW. In conclusion, integration of the PV system into the power grid can improve the power loss and voltage profile.
