In indoor vertical farming systems, managing dynamic and complex environments poses significant challenges. Traditional control strategies often fall short in adapting to rapid changes in critical parameters such as nutrient levels, climate conditions, and plant health indicators. To address these challenges, this paper presents a novel approach for optimizing indoor vertical farming using Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (DDPG), a reinforcement learning algorithm well-suited for environments with continuous action spaces. Our study focused on the control and monitoring of key parameters, including nutrient levels (pH and EC), climate conditions (temperature, humidity, light, and CO2 levels), and plant health indicators (biomass accumulation and leaf size structure). By defining a comprehensive state and action space, we simulated an indoor farming environment and trained the DDPG model to maximize crop yield and health. © 2024 IEEE.

Information technology support is desperately needed for higher education. Universities must use information technology to effectively and efficiently manage potential resources to compete with other institutions. Utilization of IT in Higher Education Governance, particularly the academic information system at Nusa Nipa University, lacks a structured architecture. The current IT infrastructure is insufficient to respond promptly and precisely to application and business change solutions. This study aims to simplify the process of developing information system architecture by developing an architectural model and an implementation roadmap. This study's design uses the TOGAF ADM model, The organization's initial condition analysis stage is the preliminary requirement management phase;architectural vision;and business architecture. The enterprise architecture design begins with the second stage's information system architecture and technology architecture phases. The subsequent phases of opportunities and solutions, migration planning, and change management, recommendations for implementing enterprise architecture are presented in the third section. The consequences of this study are IT outlines for each engineering stage given the TOGAF ADM structure for business processes in new understudy affirmations frameworks, scholastic cycles, graduated classes, and libraries to help data frameworks at Nusa Nipa College. This research can create a blueprint for IT development suggestions for expected business techniques at Nusa Nipa College. © 2023 IEEE.

Analysis of the Recognition of Facial Movements of App Designed for Rehabilitation of People with Facial Paralysis

Peripheral facial paralysis (PFP) causes deficits in muscle and sensory functions of the face due to damage to the facial nerve. In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness of the "Fisiobem" app in rehabilitating patients with PFP through facial mimicry exercises. The app uses the device’s camera to identify the user and measure the range of motion during the exercises, applying the ARKit framework to quantify the intensity of the movements. We conducted a usability study with 34 participants unaffected by PFP, performing mimics with different amplitudes. Results show that glasses did not affect recognition accuracy in exercises such as raising eyebrows, frowning, and closing the eyes tightly. As for wrinkling the nose exercise, glasses impacted higher intensities. As for the beard or mustache, lower lip protrusion, compressing the lips, smiling, showing teeth and blowing out filling cheeks were not affected. However, when smiling with lips together, beard and mustache influenced intensities above 75%. It is important to highlight that this study has limitations, such as the sample size and lack of consideration for ethnic diversity among participants. Future research with larger and more diverse samples is needed to validate and generalize these findings and explore the nuances of interactions between facial features and facial recognition algorithms. Despite these limitations, the approach facilitated by the "Fisiobem" application offers significant benefits, especially for patients with PFP who face challenges in accessing specialized therapists. It allows patients to complement their treatment by performing guided facial mimicry exercises at home. The application helps individuals accurately perform the exercises and effectively track the progress of their rehabilitation. © 2024 by the authors of this article.

In Indonesia, mental health awareness is not as prominent as physical health, and many adolescents have experienced mental health problems. Some people hide their mental and emotional problems by appearing cheerful and peaceful, but research shows that body language and voice tone can reveal a person's inner psychological state. Similarly, handwriting can be analyzed through graphology to reveal personality traits such as honesty, emotional stability, and fears. Graphology is a time-consuming and expensive process, using image processing and machine learning, graphology can be done quickly without human bias. This research aims to predict the personality traits by implement image processing combined with machine learning to analyze handwriting features. Using lazy learner algorithm of K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm, SVM and Naïve Bayes, the application can predict the MBTI personality from handwriting image with an accuracy of 94%, 78%, and 93% respectively. From the experiment, it is shown that the application able to do the analysis of one's handwriting and then predict the personality traits, fully automated using a computer

The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 led to a significant increase in internet use, a trend that persisted post-pandemic due to hybrid work models and digital advancements. In Indonesia, where the digital economy is projected to reach USD 110 billion by 2025, reliable internet service is vital for the burgeoning digital economy. Sentiment analysis on user reviews provides critical insights into customer satisfaction and areas for improvement, directly benefiting ISPs by guiding service enhancements. This study employed sentiment analysis on the MyIndiHome app which was developed by Indonesia's leading ISP, IndiHome. MyIndiHome reviews from the Google Play Store can be utilized to assess user satisfaction. By utilizing Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) and Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (Bi-GRU) models, the research classified the sentiment of these reviews into positive or negative categories. The models' performance was compared to identify the most effective approach for this task. The study aimed to recommend the best model for sentiment analysis, aiding in enhancing ISP services and supporting Indonesia's digital growth. We found that Bi-GRU was the best of both models, offering better performance with 95.87% accuracy on testing data and also came with faster training time. With this high accuracy, Bi-GRU could be reliably used to conduct sentiment analysis on MylndiHome reviews.

This research discusses the improvement of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model accuracy in translating Batak to Indonesian by utilizing FastText and GloVe embeddings. Traditional LSTM models often struggle with the complexity and richness of underrepresented languages like Batak. By integrating FastText and GloVe, which provide word vectors with deeper semantic meanings, the translation quality can be significantly enhanced. Experimental results show that this approach offers a substantial performance improvement compared to conventional LSTM models, producing more accurate and contextual translations. These findings have the potential to be applied in broader multilingual translation systems and support the preservation and digital accessibility of minority languages. © 2024 IEEE.

Using digital literacy in the educational environment can make students more responsible and wiser in using and accessing technology. To find out how prepared the educational environment is in facing this digital era a study that aimed to determine whether there is a correlation between age and gender factors with the number of devices used in the online learning process was conducted at one of the private universities in West Jakarta. The results of this study can contribute to the model developments in both online and offline learning processes to increase student motivation. The data collection method used is qualitative with primary data from survey results, using non-probability sampling, and descriptive analysis. The sample of this study was students at that university with a total of 310 students. Based on the test results using the two-way ANOVA test on the SPSS tool, the result is 0.055. This value is above the significance value requirement of 0.05. The age and gender do not significantly affect device usage, with a Sig value of >0.05, and the simultaneous relationship between age and gender does not affect device usage. It can be concluded that digital literacy has been applied in that university which can be proven from the test results that 225 students out of 310 or 72.5% use more than one device in online learning activities. © 2024 IEEE.

Cryptography is very important when we talk about the security of data. Cryptography is a science that studies techniques, both mathematical and intuitive, related to aspects of data security. Along with the development of cryptography, technological developments are also developing very rapidly. There is a lot of data theft and lack of efficiency in maintaining data security, in this case it is very important to maintain the security of data and information. This research is designed to provide a solution to this problem by using Hybrid cryptography. Hybrid in this research combines the MRC4 and RSA Dual Modulus algorithms. The MRC4 algorithm is a stream cipher algorithm whose system security depends on generating a stream of key bits (keystream), while the RSA Dual Modulus algorithm is an asymmetric algorithm variant of RSA whose security lies in the difficulty of factoring large numbers into prime factors but this algorithm takes a long time in the encryption process when compared to the MRC4 algorithm. In the research process, the MRC4 algorithm is used to encrypt the sender's message and the RSA Dual Modulus algorithm will encrypt the key from MRC4, then the results of the message and key encryption process will be sent to the message recipient. After the recipient gets the plaintext and key, the key is first decrypted using the RSA Dual Modulus algorithm to produce a key that can decrypt the message using the MRC4 algorithm.

The swift development of the current digital era is directly proportional to the emergence of several security issues in digital data transmission, especially in data confidentiality and authentication. The modernisation of this way of communication method must be given more attention to the security system because of its increasing popularity. In this case, users can overcome it by using various encryption method approaches, one of many ways that can be done is signcryption. Signcryption is a scheme that combines encryption and digital signatures. Where the encryption process provides confidentiality while the signature offers authenticity. Signcryption itself is utilized in providing solutions to the security problems mentioned earlier by combining a relatively new public key algorithm called $AA_{\beta}$ with DSA, which is the standard in digital signatures, in the hope that this combination of algorithms could provide integrity, confidentiality, and authentication. The final result of this research is that signcryption with $AA_{\beta}$ and DSA algorithms has been successfully carried out by producing an execution time of 1.189 seconds on the signcryption process of the smallest file size of 1 KB and resistant to brute force attacks.

This paper presents an innovative approach to integrating ML-Agents into a microgame-based kart racing environment, showcasing the potential for enhancing gameplay experiences through AI-driven opponents. Kart Unity Game is a racing game that uses small motorized vehicles but still uses the concept of racing in the real world. One of the racing game development platforms is Unity. Unity has developed a platform, Unity Karting Microgame, which users can modify. Unity Karting Microgame applies self-driving to ML-Agents trained and designed to drive their karts with suitable sensors and actuators. The method used to develop the game is to modify the racetrack and modify ML-Agents to make the game more exciting and fun. As a result of this study, successful implementation of ML-Agents in a microgame-based kart racing environment. The study highlights the potential of using Unity ML-Agents to create AI-driven opponents that enrich gameplay experiences. Games can run well and seem varied. ML-Agents can also control their karts on their lanes. Thus, kart racing games can be implemented. © 2023 IEEE.
