Task oriented chatbots are a sub-topic related to chatbots, where chatbots will perform certain tasks with specific goals. One part of creating a task-oriented chatbot is doing intent classification. Intent classification is a task of text classification. As in general text classification, the required dataset requires a label to carry out the classification process. To speed up and help the utterance analysis process, there is already a method, namely clustering, and Density-based clustering is a part of clustering that can determine cluster patterns based on arbitrary data, with DBScan as one of its algorithms. This research used 10000 client utterance data of awhatsapp based e-commerce conversation. SentenceBert also used as a state of art sentence embedding. This research yield silhouette score of 0.327 as the best result from eps of 0.1 and MinPts of 95. However, based on the cluster result, sentences labelled as noise can be further clustered. Text Preprocessing, text augmentation and sentence embedding techniques can be explored to increase the cluster performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Green hydrogen becomes one of the most important of all other forms due to ecological issues, described in directives requiring the transformation to energy sources with the lowest possible carbon footprint. The application of the PhotoElectrochemical Cell where hydrogen is produced with the direct use of solar energy is the best solution. Bilayer and multilayered systems based on CuO, especially in combination with TiO2 seem to be the most frequently studied of all heterostructured nanomaterials when considering green hydrogen generation. The interface created between rough surface of CuO and smooth TiO2 surface ensures the highest photocurrent when the top layer is of about 150 nm. For CuO(top)/TiO2 heterojunction characterized by rough/rough interface, photoeletrochemical performance also improves with increasing thickness of the top layer up to 100 nm. The cathodic character of the photocurrent is observed for both TiO2(top)/CuO and CuO(top)/TiO2 bilayers. © 2025 The Authors

This research aims to construct a two-dimensional image to represent an underwater geometry map with a Side Scan Sonar (SSS) mounted on a Hybrid Autonomous Underwater Glider (HAUG). Building the underwater map has two stages of the process. The first stage is preprocessing which includes Time-varying gains (TVG), slant range correction, and ground range correction. The second is HAUG navigation, the movement of HAUG orientation to the angle and distance of SSS readings and plotting the geometry of the grid map. With these two stages, a two-dimensional grid map will be formed. Meanwhile, the 3D plot utilizes slant range and ground range correction to obtain the surface height of the bottom of the pool. From the experiments conducted to conduct mapping in the pool, two-dimensional and three-dimensional visual forms of the pool floor and pool walls were produced. The results of the estimated measurement of the width of the pool obtained 14.05 meters and the height of the pool 3.199 meters with an SSS beam angle of 58 degrees. © 2023 IEEE.

This study demonstrates the use of fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors for distributed temperature and strain monitoring in steelmaking and foundry applications. Integrated into inexpensive optical fibers, FBGs offer accurate and real-time remote sensing, detecting shifts in wavelength due to temperature (up to 1,800 °C), strain, or structural wear and tear. Furthermore, the intrinsic features of FBG sensors: compact size, immunity to electromagnetic interference and corrosion, robustness to vibration, ease of integration into existing composite structures, and non-intrusive measurement capacity in harsh environments make them ideal for steelmaking. FBGs optimize production, ensure quality, and enhance safety within the steel industry. © 2024 by the Association for Iron & Steel Technology.

Universal sublinear resistivity in vanadium kagome materials hosting charge density waves

The recent discovery of a charge density (CDW) state in ScV6Sn6 at TCDW = 91 K offers new opportunities to understand the origins of electronic instabilities in topological kagome systems. By comparing to the isostructural non-CDW compound LuV6Sn6, we unravel interesting electrical transport properties in ScV6Sn6, above and below the charge-ordering temperature. We observed that by applying a magnetic field along the a axis, the temperature behavior of the longitudinal resistivity in ScV6Sn6 changes from metal-like to insulator-like above the CDW transition. We show that in the charge-ordered state ScV6Sn6 follows the Fermi liquid behavior while above that, the resistivity varies sublinearly over a broad temperature range. The sublinear resistivity, which scales by T3/5 is a common feature among other vanadium-containing kagome compounds exhibiting CDW states such as KV3Sb5, RbV3Sb5, and CsV3Sb5. By contrast, the sublinear behavior of the resistivity does not occur in LuV6Sn6. Finally, we show anomalous Hall-like behavior in ScV6Sn6 below TCDW, which is absent in the Lu compound. Comparing the transport properties of ScV6Sn6 and LuV6Sn6 is valuable to highlight the impacts of the unusual CDW in the Sc compound.

Nickel is typically used as one of the main components in electrical contact devices or *** oxide(NiO)is usually formed on the surfaces of electrodes and can negatively impact system performance by introducing electrical contact *** thermal,electrical,and transport properties of NiO,as a Mott insulator or a p-type semiconductor,can be altered by operating and environmental conditions such as temperature and stress/strain by *** this study,we inves-tigate the fundamental material properties of NiO through the first-principle ***,we obtain and compare the lattice parameter,magnetic moment,and electronic structure for NiO via the WIEN2K simulations with four different poten-tials(i.e.,GGA,GGA+U,LSDA,and LSDA+U).Then,using the WIEN2K simulation results with LSDA+U potential that produces a highly accurate bandgap for NiO,we calculate the electrical conductivity and electrical part of the thermal conductivity of nickel and NiO as a function of temperature and carrier concentration through the BoltzTraP *** simulation results revealed that the electrical conductivity relative to the relaxation time for NiO increases with the carrier concentration,while it shows a slightly decreasing trend with temperature under a fixed carrier *** contrast,the electrical part of the thermal conductivity shows an increasing trend considering carrier concentration and temperature.

This paper reports a method of frequency scaling millimeter wave thin-film lithium niobate (LiNbO3) acoustic resonators using ion beam assisted Argon gas cluster trimming whilst maintaining a high figure of merit (FoM) and averting ultra-thin-film fabrication difficulties. A transferred 100 nm thick 128° Y-cut LiNbO3 thin film is trimmed to a thickness of 75 nm. Consequently, a 24.4 GHz first-order antisymmetric mode (A1) resonator with a high k2 of 34.3%, a Q of 54, and an FoM of 18.5 is presented. The quality of the film was maintained during the trimming process, proven by material-level analysis, and exhibited a similar f•Q product compared with resonators fabricated using the original film. These results show a viable and less complex path toward further frequency scaling acoustic devices. © 2023 IEEE.

Extracellular vesicles(EVs)have been identified as promising biomarkers for the noninvasive diagnosis of various ***,challenges in separating EVs from soluble proteins have resulted in variable EV recovery rates and low ***,we report a high-yield(>90%)and rapid(<10 min)EV isolation method called FLocculation via Orbital Acoustic Trapping(FLOAT).The FLOAT approach utilizes an acoustofluidic droplet centrifuge to rotate and controllably heat liquid *** adding a thermoresponsive polymer flocculant,nanoparticles as small as 20 nm can be rapidly and selectively concentrated at the center of the *** demonstrate the ability of FLOAT to separate urinary EVs from the highly abundant Tamm-Horsfall protein,addressing a significant obstacle in the development of EV-based liquid *** to its high-yield nature,FLOAT reduces biofluid starting volume requirements by a factor of 100(from 20 mL to 200µL),demonstrating its promising potential in point-of-care diagnostics.

Excitons,bound electron–hole pairs,in two-dimensional hybrid organic inorganic perovskites(2D HOIPs)are capable of forming hybrid light-matter states known as exciton-polaritons(E–Ps)when the excitonic medium is confined in an optical *** the case of 2D HOIPs,they can self-hybridize into E–Ps at specific thicknesses of the HOIP crystals that form a resonant optical cavity with the ***,the fundamental properties of these self-hybridized E–Ps in 2D HOIPs,including their role in ultrafast energy and/or charge transfer at interfaces,remain ***,we demonstrate that>0.5µm thick 2D HOIP crystals on Au substrates are capable of supporting multiple-orders of self-hybridized E–P *** E–Ps have high Q factors(>100)and modulate the optical dispersion for the crystal to enhance sub-gap absorption and *** varying excitation energy and ultrafast measurements,we also confirm energy transfer from higher energy E–Ps to lower energy E–***,we also demonstrate that E–Ps are capable of charge transport and transfer at *** findings provide new insights into charge and energy transfer in E–Ps opening new opportunities towards their manipulation for polaritonic devices.

The increasing proliferation of third-generation semiconductor silicon carbide (SiC) products has led to the emergence of SiC powder as an industrial byproduct. To reutilize the SiC efficiently, we propose a facile method for fabrication of photocatalytic plates from reclaimed SiC. Our approach involves affixing the SiC onto a glass surface with laser cladding, followed by sputter deposition of a gold film and laser annealing. The resulting nanogold-coated SiC plate exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activity due to the injection of hot electrons into the SiC via surface plasmon resonance. Unlike chemical reduction, which requires hours for the synthesis, purification, and isolation of Au/SiC, our approach accomplished this in just 30 min. When illuminated, the Au/SiC plate generated electron-hole pairs that formed radicals in the presence of water and oxygen, leading to the decomposition of methylene blue. Furthermore, the Au/SiC plate can be integrated into a microfluidic device for an enhanced degradation rate and efficiency. This research provides a simple and environmentally friendly approach to the production of photocatalytic plates from reclaimed SiC and contributes to sustainable development. © 2024 The Authors.
