Multi-objective optimization techniques are practical techniques for controller tuning purposes. A wide variety of papers use such an approach or propose new algorithms to approximate the Pareto front. Nevertheless, despite the expressive volume of works dealing with it, there is no standard benchmark testbed that could be used as a baseline comparison among different techniques. This work addresses such a gap, with a first step proposing a linear-SISO testbed with guidelines and rules and providing a basic example for a PI controller. Such a benchmark is expected to promote further research on the topic.

The aerospace manufacturing industry exhibits significant complexity in all its tasks. For instance, the aircraft’s main body comprises several components with multiple dimensions, geometries, and materials. This kind of manufacturing system is specialised in creating aerospace parts characterised by advanced technology, limited production quantities, and a high degree of customisation. The aerospace products and the corresponding manufacturing systems have extensive life cycles spanning decades and are repurposed to accommodate product variations. Any disturbance during the project progression has the potential to result in escalated expenses and time investments, leaving economic and environmental drivers. In this way, Cyber-Physical Production systems (CPPS) are emerging to reduce misinterpretation and mistakes across all stages of the manufacturing process. Therefore, the main aim of this paper is to discuss the current issues and emergent technologies across the literature review to address the following Research Issue 1 (RI1): What are the current issues and emergent technologies in CPPS and KDD for the Aerospace Industry? Research Issue 2 (RI2): What is the gap in CPPS and KDD for the aerospace industry? This initial literature review is concentrated on the Knowledge data-driven (KDD) to aid in developing CPPS for Aerospace Sheet Metal (ASM) parts manufacturing and examining the use of CPPS in the aerospace sector. Finally, this research contributes to the research community with an initial overview of research trends in the domain of KDD for CPPS in the aerospace industry and finds the main research gaps in this area.

Knowing if a Sokoban level has a solution requires a high investment of computational resources. This also happens when estimating difficulty; heuristics may not be precise, only work for simplified cases, be discontinuous and take much computing time. The calculation of high-fidelity heuristics is expensive and the performance of optimization systems is reduced by the time they take to deliver the result. In this article, two Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) are implemented, a classifier of resolvable Sokoban boards and a regressor that predicts the number of pushes necessary to solve them. These obtained an accuracy of 79 % and MAE of 28, respectively. Trained models are useful in systems that do not require optimality, but rather guidance within the search space that balances time and quality. These networks can be used as surrogate methods, replacing high-fidelity heuristics that take too long.

The usability of a prosthetic hand difers significantly from that of a real ***,the complexity of manipulation increases as the number of degrees of freedom to be controlled increases,making manipulation with biological signals extremely *** overcome this problem,users need to select a grasping posture that is adaptive to the object and a stable grasping method that prevents the object from *** previous studies,these have been left to the operating skills of the user,which is extremely difficult to *** this study,we demonstrate how stable and adaptive grasping can be achieved according to the object regardless of the user's operation *** required grasping technique is achieved by determining the correlation bet ween the motor output and each sensor through the interaction between the prosthetic hand and the surrounding stimuli,such as myoelectricity,sense of touch,and grasping *** agents of the 16 DOF robot hand were trained with the myoelectric signals of six participants,including one child with a congenital forearm ***,each agent could open and close the hand in response to the myoeletric stimuli and could accomplish the object pickup *** the tasks,the agents successfully identified grasping patterns suitable for practical and stable positioning of the *** addition,the agents were able to pick up the object in a similar posture regardless of the partiipant,suggesting that the hand was optimized by evolutionary computation to a posture that prevents the object from being dropped.
