A double HfZrO2 (HZO) ferroelectric field-effect transistor (FeFET) is demonstrated with ultra-low operating voltage as |VP/E| = 3 V to achieve multilevel cell (MLC) nonvolatile memory (NVM). Compared to a single FE-HZO FeFET, the metal/ferroelectric/metal/ferroelectric/Si (MFMFS) structure results not only in a reduction of VP/E, but also provides a feasible memory window (MW) of 1.9 V for MLC operation. In addition, the metal/ferroelectric/insulator/ ferroelectric/Si (MFIFS) FeFET exhibits a MW as high as >2.5 V. The double HZO FeFET has potential to improve power consumption and enhance memory density for MLC-NVM applications. © 2022 IEEE.

The article describes a new method for malware classification,based on a Machine Learning(ML)model architecture specifically designed for malware detection,enabling real-time and accurate malware *** an innovative feature dimensionality reduction technique called the Interpolation-based Feature Dimensionality Reduction Technique(IFDRT),the authors have significantly reduced the feature space while retaining critical information necessary for malware *** technique optimizes the model’s performance and reduces computational *** proposed method is demonstrated by applying it to the BODMAS malware dataset,which contains 57,293 malware samples and 77,142 benign samples,each with a 2381-feature *** the IFDRT method,the dataset is transformed,reducing the number of features while maintaining essential data for accurate *** evaluation results show outstanding performance,with an F1 score of 0.984 and a high accuracy of 98.5%using only two reduced *** demonstrates the method’s ability to classify malware samples accurately while minimizing processing *** method allows for improving computational efficiency by reducing the feature space,which decreases the memory and time requirements for training and *** new method’s effectiveness is confirmed by the calculations,which indicate significant improvements in malware classification accuracy and *** research results enhance existing malware detection techniques and can be applied in various cybersecurity applications,including real-timemalware detection on resource-constrained *** and scientific contribution lie in the development of the IFDRT method,which provides a robust and efficient solution for feature reduction in ML-based malware classification,paving the way for more effective and scalable cybersecurity measures.

This article presents an approach to modelling and analyzing photovoltaic inverters through the use of multivariable techniques. By applying singular value decomposition and relative gain array methodologies, the inverter can be viewed as a multiple-input multiple-output system, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of the relevant variables that require control within a specific frequency range. This advanced approach offers a deeper understanding of the complex interactions between the different components of the photovoltaic inverter, enabling more effective control over critical parameters.

Photovoltaic (PV) inverters can provide ancillary services to the electrical grid, such as harmonic current compensation (HCC), reactive power injection, power smoothing and frequency regulation. Even though this extra functionality can improve the grid power quality, the reliability of the power electronics components of the PV inverter can be affected. Some studies performed further analysis in the semiconductor devices operating as HCC. However, there is a lack in the literature exploring the HCC effect in the dc-link capacitors. Thus, the main objective of this work is perform a further analysis in the HCC operation effects on the dc-link capacitor. The influences of the harmonic order, amplitude and phase angles on the dc-link capacitor are explored. In addition, thermal experimental results of the dc-link capacitor temperatures are performed to evidence the simulation results. Based on the results obtained in this work, the HCC affects the dc-link capacitor power losses and lifetime consumption. The harmonic order directly affects the dc-link power losses and it is higher when the 5th and 7th harmonic orders are compensated simultaneously. In addition, the compensation of 7th harmonic order presents higher power losses than the 5th harmonic component. It was also observed that harmonic phase-angle does not present significant effect in the dc-link capacitor power losses. © 2023 IEEE.

As bullying rapidly spreads in schools, many parents are becoming increasingly concerned about their children being subjected to bullying by peers, which could negatively impact their physical and mental health. This paper proposes an abusive language detection system that combines Mel-frequency Cepstrum Coefficients (MFCC) speech features with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Audio files which contain daily abusive phrases in the Minnan dialect are initially preprocesses to eliminate non-speech interference. Subsequently, the MFCC algorithm is applied to extract speech features that closely capture auditory characteristics. The CNN classification model is trained to learn the MFCC features and classify the phrases into their respective categories. Experimental results indicate that the CNN model achieves an average recognition accuracy of 91.9%. Finally, the CNN model was deployed on an embedded platform, where it achieves an average recognition time of 0.54 seconds per phrase and an average recognition accuracy of 86.25%.

In magnetic particle imaging (MPI), simultaneous excitation and signal acquisition leads to direct feedthrough interference. While this interference can be mitigated up to some extent with passive compensation, its time-varying nature necessitates active compensation methods to achieve the sensitivity levels needed for applications such as stem cell tracking. We have recently proposed an active compensation technique for MRI, which uses a vector modulator and a lookup-table-based algorithm for reducing the direct feedthrough in the analog domain. Here, we adapt this technique to MPI, demonstrating a successful recovery of the fundamental frequency and a significant increase in detection sensitivity. © 2024, CC BY.

This paper introduces ZETA, a new MATLAB library for Zonotope-based EsTimation and fAult diagnosis of discrete-time systems. It features user-friendly implementations of set representations based on zonotopes, namely zonotopes, constrained zonotopes, and line zonotopes, in addition to a basic implementation of interval arithmetic. This library has capabilities starting from the basic set operations with these sets, including propagations through nonlinear functions using various approximation methods. The features of ZETA allow for reachability analysis and state estimation of discrete-time linear, nonlinear, and descriptor systems, in addition to active fault diagnosis of linear systems. Efficient order reduction methods are also implemented for the respective set representations. Rectifier plays a pivotal role in wireless power transfer systems. While numerous studies have concentrated on enhancing efficiency and bandwidth at specific high-power levels, practical scenarios often involve unpredictable power inputs. Consequently, a distinct need arises for a rectifier that demonstrates superior efficiency across a broad range of input power levels. This paper introduces a high-power RF-to-DC rectifier designed for WPT applications, featuring an ultrawide dynamic range of input power. The rectification process leverages a GaN (gallium nitride) high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) to efficiently handle high power levels up to 12.6 W. The matching circuit was designed to ensure that the rectifier will operate in class-F mode. A Schottky diode is incorporated into the design for relatively lower-power rectification. Seamless switching between the rectification modes of the two circuits is accomplished through the integration of a circulator. The proposed rectifier exhibits a 27.5 dB dynamic range, achieving an efficiency exceeding 55% at 2.4 GHz. Substantial improvement in power handling and dynamic range over traditional rectifiers is demonstrated. © 2024 by the authors.

This paper investigates the coupling effect on EFT Burst transient waveform injected via CDN and capacitive clamp described in IEC 61000-4-4 [1]. We first introduce the EFT Burst transient Generator model [2] previously established published with ANSYS Designer, and which has later been adopted into ANSYS electronics Desktop serving for immunity effect and protection measure analysis. Even though the EFT generator model has been validated with measured waveform and met pulse specification listed in the Standard, the users of ANSYS electronics Desktop would further like to simulate their design for immunity performance in combination of EFT generator with capacitive injection clamp as test in EMC laboratory. Therefore we investigate the capacitive coupling effect on EFT waveform which injected onto EUT, for example EV charging cables and plugs, via CDN or clamp with the model of coupling network established by utilization of ANSYS Q3D and SIwave. The coupling model also takes into account the transmission line effectivity for accuracy convergence. This study intends to provide an effective simulation model to help electronic engineers enhancing their EMS design capability. © 2022 IEEE.
