Music Signal Processing has significantly evolved in the past decades. One of the major areas of interest in this field has been automatic music transcription. It is a challenging task by itself that aggravates even more when the input audio is polyphonic (multiple instruments and timbres are played simultaneously). This requires the identification of musical instruments in the piece at the outset. The field of music signal processing that deals with this aspect is known as automatic music instrument identification. This field also has the potential of categorizing and recommending music based on instruments. Disparate datasets have been proposed to date for this task but none of them have interclass background similarity to the best of our knowledge. Further, the lead melody being played also varies from class to class in most cases. These aspects can introduce a possible bias for the machine learning models that can get manipulated unfairly by the additional variances in the classes other than the lead instrument itself. This sets the stage for a dataset where the classes are different only in terms of the tone of the lead instrument alone. In this paper, we introduce the first musical instrument dataset of 10 musical instruments with Electronic Dance Music melodies (EDM10) having identical background music (BGM) across instruments. This dataset is the first of its kind wherein synthetic tones have been used that have taken over the Globe. We introduce out-of-mood testing using exotic scales for musical instrument identification. The dataset is composed of 35800 polyphonic clips of 3 s each and a baseline result of 89.73% was obtained using a deep learning-based approach. Smart computing has been particularly notable in the development of wireless sensor networks (WSNs), which have many applications. Battery-powered, self-configuring sensor nodes are the basis of these networks. Energy and resources are limited when it comes to sensors. Unbalanced nodes in the network consume more power, which adversely affects the network's lifespan. An improved energy-efficient cluster-based routing protocol for heterogeneous wireless sensor networks (WSNs) based on the Internet of Things is proposed in this study. Several performance metrics were used to evaluate the proposed model's effectiveness, including energy efficiency, alive nodes, dead nodes, network lifetime, and residual energy. The results of the comparison were compared with existing methodologies, such as LEACH, PSO, and hybrid PSO. The proposed approach outperforms the existing model by a substantial margin in networks with 50 and 100 nodes, according to the simulation results. © 2024 IEEE.

Recently,Industrial Control Systems(ICSs)have been changing from a closed environment to an open environment because of the expansion of digital transformation,smart factories,and Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT).Since security accidents that occur in ICSs can cause national confusion and human casualties,research on detecting abnormalities by using normal operation data learning is being actively *** single technique proposed by existing studies does not detect abnormalities well or provide satisfactory *** this paper,we propose a GRU-based Buzzer Ensemble for AbnormalDetection(GBE-AD)model for detecting anomalies in industrial control systems to ensure rapid response and process *** newly proposed ensemble model of the buzzer method resolves False Negatives(FNs)by complementing the limited range that can be detected in a single model because of the internal models composing *** the internal models remain suppressed for False Positives(FPs),GBE-AD provides better *** addition,we generated mean prediction error data in GBE-AD and inferred abnormal processes using soft and hard *** confirmed that the detection model’s Time-series Aware Precision(TaP)suppressed FPs at 97.67%.The final performance was 94.04%in an experiment using anHIL-basedAugmented ICS(HAI)Security Dataset(ver.21.03)among public datasets.

Drive Wave is a device that can help drivers communicate with other road users by displaying familiar words and icons as well as a speech to text feature that can make it easier for drivers to communicate with other road users. in this work, a system design prototype consisting of two devices, namely Remote and LED message board. The most spoken words used and icons displayed on the LED message board are controlled wireless using a Remote using the ESP-NOW protocol and Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth LE). The two ways of he LED message board controlled by the remote are manual and automatic speech to text converter system controlled the LED message board displayed. the manual way, the user pressed the button to choice the word to be displayed. in the automatic voiced control, the LED displayed the word uttered by the user. the automatic voiced controlled applied Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) as feature extraction techniques and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method for word identification methods. The results showed that the automatic voice controlled 99.78% and 100% for training and validating accuracy, respectively. the real testing result showed that 24 times testing which have 100% accuracy.

Presently,customer retention is essential for reducing customer churn in telecommunication *** churn prediction(CCP)is important to predict the possibility of customer retention in the quality of *** risks of customer churn also get essential,the rise of machine learning(ML)models can be employed to investigate the characteristics of customer ***,deep learning(DL)models help in prediction of the customer behavior based characteristic *** the DL models necessitate hyperparameter modelling and effort,the process is difficult for research communities and business *** this view,this study designs an optimal deep canonically correlated autoencoder based prediction(ODCCAEP)model for competitive customer dependent application *** addition,the O-DCCAEP method purposes for determining the churning nature of the *** O-DCCAEP technique encompasses preprocessing,classification,and hyperparameter ***,the DCCAE model is employed to classify the churners or ***,the hyperparameter optimization of the DCCAE technique occurs utilizing the deer hunting optimization algorithm(DHOA).The experimental evaluation of the O-DCCAEP technique is carried out against an own dataset and the outcomes highlighted the betterment of the presented O-DCCAEP approach on existing approaches.

Solar-powered dryers are still expensive and difficult to obtain for farmers with medium to low production capacity. For this reason, it is necessary to develop technology on a solar-powered dryer with a solar panel capacity of 200WP is equipped with a maximum power point tracker as an integrated solar collector with a photovoltaic system. The system in this solar-powered dryer consists of a solar panel tracker, a rotating aluminum cylinder net, a photovoltaic tracker, a battery bank, a microcontroller, and a DC/AC inverter. This system improves the performance of solar panels in the drying process of Moringa leaves. This design is expect to be the right system to ensure maximum results by providing solar radiation energy in the drying process of agricultural products. The aims goal to minimize problems in the drying of agricultural products experienced by farmers using an automatic dual-energy solar-powered dryer as a development innovation for the drying process. This study uses an experimental methodology and field data collection using a solar-powered dryer that has been analyzed and measured to obtain data comparisons. shows the maximum data of voltage and power response in positioning photovoltaic to produce the increased output power of photovoltaic array. Maximum application of powerpoint tracker on microcontroller based dual energy solar powered dryer on solar panels for drying moringa leaves produces the advantage of maximum energy absorption in solar panels and shortens the time in the drying process of moringa leaves. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Custom spectral convolutional neural networks (CSCNNs) combine the strengths of convolutional neural networks with specialized spectral processing, resulting in improved classification accuracy by effectively capturing subtle variations in hyperspectral data. This paper proposes a CSCNNs based approach to classify hyperspectral images. The proposed method leverages the high-dimensional spectral data inherent in hyperspectral images, employing convolutional layers specifically designed to capture spectral-spatial features. By reducing dimensionality through principal component analysis and creating image patches, the model is trained to recognize complex patterns across different spectral bands. In addition, a comprehensive analysis of CSCNN performance is carried out, focusing on its architecture, key features, and benefits in computational efficiency and spectral representation. Experimental results on datasets such as Salinas-A, Pavia University (Pavia-U), and Indian Pines demonstrate that the CSCNN model surpasses traditional methods, achieving higher classification accuracy and more robust performance metrics like overall accuracy (OA), average accuracy (AA), and Kappa coefficient. The proposed model achieved an overall accuracy (OA) of 98.2%, 96.7%, and 92.5% for the Salinas-A, Pavia-U, and Indian Pines datasets, respectively. The model's average accuracy (AA) was 97.5%, 95.4%, and 89.8% for the same datasets. Furthermore, the model attained Kappa coefficients of 97.7%, 95.2%, and 89.1% for Salinas-A, Pavia-U, and Indian Pines, respectively. © 2024 IEEE.

AI Safety has become a vital front-line concern of many scientists within and outside the AI community. There are many immediate and long term anticipated risks that range from existential risk to human existence to deep fakes and bias in machine learning systems [1-5]. In this paper, we reduce the full scope and immense complexity of AI safety concerns to a trilogy of three important but tractable opportunities for advances that have the short-term potential to improve AI safety and reliability without reducing AI innovation in critical domains.
